These guys are the best. Super friendly, helpful and have loads of the best stuff. Mail ordered stuff is sent promptly and well packed. If you need longboard or surfskate inf, these are your people. Ill come say hi next time I'm in Bristol. Laters, Rees.

Customer service is excellent, with clear, friendly and polite communication.

Products are great too, I ordered a landyachtz dinghy and a skate tool and both are high quality, and they also arrived quickly.

The people working here really went the extra mile, making sure my product arrived on time and keeping me updated on it's journey, it's really nice to see so much positive but real personality behind a store, they even drew love hearts on my packaging lol.

If only all Skateboard shops were like this (OK, some are but they are few and far between). Cool guys who know their shit, and love the sport. Happy to give advice and info, or to just chat about riding.

I'd admired Vandem on-line for a while, but because I live in France, I'd not been a customer. But when I decided to participate in Bristol Board Meeting 2025, it gave me the perfect opportunity put that right.

I contacted them about a Carver deck I'd been eying since my mate bought one (he said from Vandem, but turns out he misremembered), and they got it in for me.

The day before the ride, I popped into their shop. What an Aladdin's cave (and being in a railway arch, it's actually cave shaped). SOOO many things I wanted to buy. Chatted with Josh and Matt, and left a very happy (and hereforth loyal) customer.

Their selection is mainly freeride, downhill and dancing longboards, and some surf skates. I'd like to see a few bracket boards but they are a niche item in a niche sport. Vandem lists more on the website than they keep in stock including the Loaded bracket decks. And seem happy to get stuff if they can.

This shop is what it's all about.
The level of professionalism, enthusiasm and knowledge the guys at this shop offer is absolutely unmatched.
I am so happy I found them, I will not purchase anything board related anywhere else anymore.
My son had his eyes in this hybrid board, and after a few disappointments elsewhere, I came across Vandem. I had a chat with Matt, as I needed some advice, and he was super patient and explained everything I asked and more. I ordered that same evening and the board arrived in less than 48hours after my order. It basically took them 24 hours to process the order and it being delivered. Absolutely pristine, very carefully packaged and with a written note. I am gobsmacked and beyond happy. My son has taken it out for a trial run straight away and is over the moon. Thanks so much guys, truly amazing experience. I could not recommend this shop more wholeheartedly.

Can't say enough good things about Vandem. Their customer support was top-notch. They answered super quickly and were really helpful with keeping me up to date on the order status. The turnaround time was amazing too – I got my board way faster than I expected. The board rides like a dream and feels really solid.

Bought a couple boards from here, one during Covid and another about a couple years later both times the customer service has been and I've left feeling I got everything needed. the price is definitely high for some of there stuff but in my eyes it's definitely worth it for what I got.

When buying anything in life, or using a new service... Customer Service and the Experience you have is the ONLY thing that ever matters, because it's a lasting reminder of that Company... The saying you never get a second chance to make a good first impression is so true....

When I was 11 I got my first skateboard a plastic or GRP deck with soft wheels and a great short carvy feel with a shallow kick and you couldnt keep me off it...

2 months ago @ 44 years later I decided I wanted to get into longboarding and found Matt @ Vandem...

2-3 phone calls and Matt's really patient and vast knowledge led me to make a trip from Devon to Bristol to try out a few boards and to buy my FIRST EVER longboard (Lush Freebyrd with Cultron Wheels).... I love this thing ;-))

To say Matt and the Vandem Company stand out is an understatement and would not do it justice, so I will just say that Matt is just a really genuine lovely guy who is passionate about what he does and cares about people...

This is so rare, as so few company's/people in the UK get it right and just try and sell to you... The Vandem experience is a million miles from that and so if you are worried about your age or that you will be patronised by a pushy sales pitch you will find NONE of that with Matt and his team.

I am an all or nothing kind of person so if I try something new I am all in with it and already I am looking at my next board, which Matt is helping me with...

Although I am not looking to be a pro boarder, I still want to learn basic Dancing Steps and some Freestyle tricks along with just Mellow Cruising....

Age is completely irrelevant and has never stopped me enjoying new stuff, so if you are worried about that, don't even think about it and just do what makes your heart sing in life... ;-))

Finally, if you are on the fence about Boarding of ANY kind, you will be blown away by just how nice and refreshing it is @ Vandem and if you are lucky as I was to have Matt as your point person, he will not disappoint.

Great company to deal with after an email seeking advice I received a speedy informed reply as a result of which I placed an order that was rapidly dispatched in plastic free packaging. Would definitely recommend these guys.

Great experience with these guys! Emailed in looking for some advice on purchasing a cruiser and they helped steer me in the right direction based upon my needs and goals. Delivery was rapid and plastic-free! Would recommend to anyone, beginner or pro! Having a lot of fun on my Loaded Omakase and it's thanks to Vandem Longboards!

Long overdue review. Bought my LY Tugboat back in 2020 after some spot on customer service. Loved that. Bought a Loaded Bhangra from the same store in 2021. Loved that too. Really wanted to get a LY Switchblade, but they couldn’t get stock - but they did point me in the right direction.

Great selection of quality products (there is a lot of tat out there), sound advice and excellent service.

Bought a Landyachtz Drop Cat 33 and was delivered next day despite ordering late (and should have been delivered after the weekend).

Unfortunately they'd accidentally sent a 38 instead so I got to test out the customer service, which was about the best experience I've ever had from an online purchase. They offered to sort it immediately and apologised. The correct length board was sent and arrived on the day it should have arrived anyway, so no inconvenience to me.

The service was so friendly and awesome I purchased another board, which they gave me a small discount as well for.

Highly recommend Vandem and will use them for all my future board needs

Product arrived in perfect condition, with no plastic packaging which I was really happy to see. The team (particularly Adam) was really patient when I had some slightly neurotic and impatient shipping queries! Will definitely use for future purchases, it’s pretty rare for companies to nail personal and friendly service while also having a huge range of products and really efficient delivery. Very impressed all round

I can't say enough about these folks. Shopped with them a few times and their customer service is warm and personal. In one instance they picked up the phone to resolve a shipping issue without being prompted. Genuine people, couldn't recommend them enough.

Had a call and chat with Adam this morning, absolutely brilliant guy! Very knowledgable, understanding and has sorted me out with a brilliant setup! Customer service has been top from start to finish. Roll on my new setup arriving! Thanks again Vamden and Cheers Adam!
