We spent 2 amazing days with Vandy touring the highlights of the Angkor Wat area. His knowledge of the history of this amazing civilization is incredible. His information and stories brought the place to life. Thanks to him we saw things that we would have missed and understood the significance of what we saw. He knows the best times of the day to visit sights to beat the heat and crowds. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Sovandy took us on a tour of the Angkor complex. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. He has studied the area’s history and answered all questions with in depth answers. He has actually taught many of the other guides. Highly recommended!

We had the most enjoyable two days of touring around Siem Reap area with Vandy. We visited the Angkor Wat complex, the Kulan falls, one thousand Lingas and floating village on Tonle Sap lake. Vandy’s knowledge was excellent, he took time to fully explain all and took us to two excellent lunchtime restaurants along the way. Would definitely request a tour with him again and highly recommend. We were driven by Sothat from Lotus Blanc Resort and again would recommend.

My wife and I were privileged to have spent two days in the company of Vandy. Having picked us up in Phnom Penn he shared with us the culture and history of Cambodia. During this journey to Siem Reap with a number of stops along the way, his passion and love for his country shone through and made the experience even more special. Angkor Watt, at dawn the next day was truly amazing with Vandys extensive knowledge guiding us through an experience we will never forget. Thanks Vandy

He was super knowledgeable and really made the history come alive. If you are coming to Siem Reap, I strongly recommend this guide and driver. They made the experience absolutely fantastic. And he's an amazing photographer as well. Not only does he take pics of you, but he knows all the best spots/times/angles to capture the most amazing photos.

Sovandy was our guide for 2 days around the temples of Siem Reap. He was very friendly and informative. He was aware that the temperatures were high and always made sure we had water and shade. He even gave me some tips when I wasn't feeling too well one day - very kind. He listened to our questions and was very knowledgeable. He was a very good guide and we would highly recommend him to show you around this impressive ancient site.

We did the sunrise tour of Angkor Wat with Vandy and he was such an amazing tour guide. He knew exactly where to stand to get the best pictures of the sunrise and quickly guided us to different positions away from the crowds to get the most amazing vantage points for the sunrise. It was like he knew all the places to be better than any other guide there as we were standing on our own at various points around the grounds watching the amazing sunrise with him.

Afterwards we toured the temple and he clearly taught us about the rich history of the empire and the deeper meanings behind the intricate carvings. It seemed there was no question he didn't have an answer for.

After we left Angkor Wat we went to Angkor Thom, then had lunch, followed by the famous Ta Prohm temple. Again Vandy's knowledge of the best times to visit each came to the fore as we appeared to miss the majority of the crowds based on his recommended timings to visit each,

It was an amazing day with a very personable and knowledgeable guide, I could not recommend Vandy any higher. He always seemed to be one step ahead of everybody else.

We experienced a wonderful day in Angkor Wat with Vandy as our tour guide! He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the temples and history. We had a day tour with Vandy in Angkor Wat. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and everything in Angkor. I would definitely book him if we had more time in Cambodia. Also he speaks proper English what makes it easy to communicate.

Vandy was our guide for two days at the temples and then a half day scootering around the Cambodia countryside. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and the Khmer empire and cares deeply about his people. He teaches the local students about their country's history. On our scooter tour, he took us to interesting places and we had a great time. I highly recommend Vandy!

We had Vandy for a one day trip to see Kulen mountain, 1000 lingas and reclining buddha statue.

He was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable, an expert on the history and culture, and his English was great. It felt like you could ask him any question and he'd know the answer.

While we were there, he asked if we would like him to take photos of us and he took an amazing collection of both posed and natural photos for us. If I could attach a few photos to this review I would, because it's hard to put into words how good they are, they're the type of photos you treasure and put up around the house.

Overall, we had a wonderful, safe experience with a real expert.

When it comes to touring Angkor Wat, look no further than Vandy Tours. On our first day we did a bike tour where the guide clearly did not know very much Our hotel recommended Vandy as one of the most knowledgeable guides, and they were correct! Vandy knew everything about the temples. He took us to Beng Mealea and Bantay Srei and told us all the stories captured in bas relief walls in great detail. We asked A LOT of questions during our private tour and he knew all the answers. He spoke great English and also took lots of photos, some of the best ones from our trip. We were so pleased with our experience and recommend him to anyone looking for a tour guide for Angkor Wat.
