Got an email at 5am on Tuesday saying delivery same day. Arrived at 9am when no one was in. Only discovered the email after their failed delivery. One week on got an email with a days notice saying delivery will be today between 8am and 9am..got a second email saying due to a “loading” issue, our package won’t be delivered and they will delivery it once they reschedule. We will receive an email once the package has been rescheduled.
Never heard of Vanex before this delivery and I would agree with every 1 star review here.
Avoid. A sham of a courier company. A month on, with no actual communication and the usual fake delivery attempts much like other customers below, I cancelled my Decathlon order. Ordered the same thing from another site and it was at my door 48 hours later via a real courier.
Vanex phone number is 0044 28 86752108 btw…
Completely unreliable, avoid at all costs. Zero customer service. Despite saying they could and would deliver before Christmas they have not delivered and have not updated despite reaching out to them multiple times.
The courier service has been the most disgraceful service I have ever experienced and I am referring them to the CCPC. My order was due on 2.12.2025. I have received multiple delivery dates, my husband having taken time off to be home for it due to the large size of the delivery. Twice I have received “loading issues” emails to say my order could not be delivered to then be told it had gone into the week long “replanning phase”. I have still not received my order which was a birthday present for my son and am receiving rephrased emails of apologies for the inconvenience caused each time I make contact with them.
Ordered a Dining Table/Pool table online with Decathlon 18th November worth €389 with €49.99 delivery - bulk delivery so requires Vanex Logistics who it seems are incapable of providing any online tracking information - that should have been the red flag but I really wanted the item. Delivery on Decathlon website was showing delivery date of 9th Dec online which is 15 working days - is this item coming from the Moon?!??
I contacted customer "service" on 7th when I didnt have any notification on delivery, tracking number etc. to see whether delivery would be taking place on the 9th and was told there is a delay because of logistics but they are actively tracking my order BUT unable to give me a tracking number or delivery date - how on earth can you not have a tracking number in 2025 ..... thats outrageous! not only that, how are you tracking the order if there is no tracking number!!! Its ok though, Vanex are prioritising deliveries! Responded again to Decathlon on 9th December asking for any idea of delivery date ... have been given a delivery date of either 15th or 16th Dec .... WITHOUT any tracking number, just a reassurance I'll be contacted - I have no faith that will happen! Of course, no where on the entire internet are there any contact details for Vanex customer service except a business to business enquiry portal!! Steer Well clear of Decathlon and anyone using Vanex - they are awful!!
An update ... you should strap in cause this is gonna be good!!!
Delivery didnt happen on 15th Dec despite someone being home. Delivery didnt happen on 16th Decmber despite someone being home. On afternoon of16th December I received an email saying that delivery would happen on 17th Dec between 10.30am and 12.30pm.
I got up this morning to 2 emails from Vanex Logistics ...
Email 1: 7:13am stated that delivery would be around 10.42am
Email 2: 7:23am delivery has failed at 7:16am ... no reason why ... just failed
Remarkably - I received a link to a tracker for my delivery from Vanex which told me my delivery was status "undelivered" due to being unavailable.
Apoplectic with anger I emailed Vanex and multiple Decathlon people asking what the hell has happened, no one showed up at 7:16am, I have proof of my Ring Camera.
I received an email from Vanex saying that delivery failed because of a "loading error" and that they were organizing their "run" for next week and would be in contact with a new delivery date!!
I do not believe there is a "loading error" ... I do believe that Decathlon have used the cheapest company they can find to do deliveries, that limit insurance costs for bulk items and that there was only 1 person at the Van to load my item and he wasnt able to do so himself so 10 minutes after getting the route confirmed he marked it as undeliverable.
I cannot tell you how much you should stay away from this company and its awful delivery service! Please do yourself a massive favour and buy from a reputable retailer as this lot do not operate in good faith.
Next step is a full refund and small claims court for 3 days loss of earnings!
Waiting nearly a month and nothing! You can't ring them. You've got to email decathlon, who email Vanex, then wait for Vanex to email decathlon who then email you!?!?
No tracking either, decathlon won't give tracking info to customers. Getting worried now as it's a Xmas present.
For the birds. Waiting 5 days from the date of delivery sent to me via email. Various emails 'the van broke down', 'the driver will be there between 11 and 12pm (never showed up), 'we called but you weren't there' (not at the time they said they would' and no recourse. No phone number just an email.
Delivery "unsuccessful" for no reason given while I'm sitting at home waiting for it. No phone number to call.
Just another bad logistics company.
Jim O’Reilly and Moreen were here to collect a bike from decathlon that had to be sent back. Very professional and lovely people they were. Especially to see a woman on the job!
I can’t praise that enthusiasm enough!
