Requested to withdraw funds from the account, it was acknowledged that this would be done in 7-10 business days. When contacting them they said their colleague who acknowledged the request never actually put the transaction through. Massively incompetent and unprofessional.
Avoid this company!

I am new to Vanguard having just decided to combine my widely scattered private pension pots under one roof. I am 74, so I could not see much point in an annuity, most of which would have ended up in the ever eager-mits of HMRC when I die. Mark from Manchester listened carefully to my particular circumstances, asked further questions for clarification, then laid out my options in detail. He also identified some actions that I might do well to avoid and confirmed that I had taken advice from PensionWise / IFA. The Vanguard app and website is undergoing rapid advances but I was undeterred by this, because I had discovered early on, that their live chat and phone help both work very well with a minimum of queueing (!). Today, after having talked things through with my wife, I will apportion the new consolidated pot to various secure destinations, starting with a 25% tax free sum, which will buy us our first ever camper van. Happy days.

So I was having trouble logging into my account as I had a number change. I waited literally 2 mins when I called and got transferred to Ahmed. He was genuine and really helpful. He walked me through everything and done the necessary changes needed (security checks and all that stuff) and everything was complete in under 10 mins which I did not expect. The people at Vanguard are great and highly mannered and I would recommend this broker to anyone wanting to invest into the platform. Genuinely have no bad words to say. Brilliant.
