I was employed through VanHack and am now on Canada. Overall, it was a great experience with them, from the help on getting the papers to get the work permit, to tips and contacts to get a house to rent.
I have two suggestions to make this service even greater:
- have someone in landing city to guide the newcomer on the peculiarities of life in Canada. We had a hard time learning some of them, and still struggling with others. Even something so basic as having someone's contact to ask when you are lost, and better yet, in your native language, would be a huge help
- add a consultancy service to help select a path and create the profiles for applying to Permanent Residency. It is a pain to get clear information without giving half yous savings in the process!

I still see myself as a follower, I haven't really benefitted from Vahack yet. Please, kindly link me up, let me also be one of those that will see Vahack positive impact.

VanHack has always been by my side in seeking international opportunities. In 2020, they connected me with a company in San Francisco and took care of the entire visa sponsorship process, allowing me to move to Canada with my family and work remotely. This was crucial for me to now have my permanent residency as a professional in design and technology.

Now in 2023, they are supporting me with a Brazilian company for a Director of Design Position. The company had no way to pay me in Canada.
