Sam Bissett was nothing but a true gentleman and went above and beyond to help me with my van insurance and made everything easy as possible throughout the whole process, even though I had recently changed my name on my driving licence and it was a lengthy process, he stuck with me went completely out of his way to get me the best price and talk with the cosingers to explain the whole situation and even transfering my NCB too.
His customer service skills are impeccable, where most insurers would have probably refused to help, Sam Bissett actually took it upon himself to sort the name change issues and got me a fantastic price on the final quote.
I would highly recommend this company solely based on Sam's customer service, professionalism and genuine want to help myself as a customer. Thanks again.

I spent over an hour on the phone (63 minutes to be exact) with various people from different departments over the course of a week trying to renew my policy from last year only for it to be cancelled.
I thought I had it sorted but then I started to get text messages off a random mobile number saying that my policy was going to be cancelled with no explanation as to why.
I put the mobile number into 'who called me' where all the people on there were saying that it was a scam number so I was a bit hesitant especially considering that my phone had been hacked a couple of months prior from a phishing email. I also thought it was weird because at the same time I was also receiving messages from a separate number that shows up as VLDirect which wasn't anything to do with the cancelation. There was also nothing on my portal account suggesting that I needed to do anything either.
I did however try to contact customer services 3 times over the last few days just to clarify whether it was a scam or not but every time I got through, the line went dead and they hung up on me so I couldn't even ask anyone about it.
I also tried messaging the auto chat in the portal which just told me to ring the number.
I had also been called 7 times from a number in Guildford over 3 days who didnt leave a message or any details as to why they were calling. I called them back eventually and it was from another department at valine direct but they were just trying to upsell me extra cover and when I asked them about the cancellation messages they had no idea about it so tried putting me through to customer services which again cut me off.
I didnt even want to renew my policy as it was a lot more expensive than the previous year and what I thought I could get it at but I was going to keep it anyway as it was already set up and as I had spent so long on the phone sorting it already but then today I got a £150 bill and told that my policy had been cancelled.

The online portal app is useless still won't display my details, but the lad Daniel in the call centre who sorted it out was very friendly and helpful , give him a bonus , many thanks,

Please ,please don't use this company,I've have been paying for over a year now with virtually double insurance policy after I had a an accident,Even though I have all the evidence stating that I was not at fault ,They said that they are just an agent not a broker ,I had paid extra for legal cover ,Wynns solicitors who I have contacted and sent the files through to Van line direct,But have a guess what that won't accept them , Basically saying that until I can prove it wasn't my fault they won't remove the accident,I've been trying to get this sort but every time I ring they are so unhelpful and are basically saying that it's tough and you will have to pay the insurance which is now doubled,if. I still want to drive ,
PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
Also I've reported it all to BBC watchdog programme.
