Like Tony the Tiger says "they're great.
I wanted to wait till my MOT was done before I wrote this review. They did the engine replacement on my Vauxhall Insignia, I can fully recommend these guys, they keep you fully updated with what's happening, and they told me I needed a new clutch, which I thought was suspect but found this to be true and saved me a few hundred pounds. They even picked it up many miles from their location and brought it back all for a very reasonable price.
In conclusion my car is running like a dream as if new and the wife is very happy, which I'm sure any guy would tell you is a result.

WELL DONE.
I did not give 5 stars only because of slight mishap during operation, but nevertheless a worthy 4 stars is given.

Not great! Head gasket and other failures

I had an engine reconditioned on my Insignia. It all went ok in the beginning and the service was good. I changed the oil and filter as recommended but the engine is still very noisy. Driving home from shopping one afternoon smoke started coming out from under the bonnet. When I got home I traced it to the diesel pipe that hadn't been fitted correctly so diesel was dripping on to the engine. I took my car to have the aircon charged. It lasted one day so I had to take it back. The technician found that the pipes to the compressor hadn't been tightened properly. I have now had to replace the seals and will now have to take it to the aircon guys for the 3rd time. While the car was there the technician ran a check and found 2 errors - EGR valve and glow plug faulty. My alternator belt came off when I was out shopping. I ran out of electricity outside of a Halfords shop so ended up having to spend £100 on a new battery just to get me home. I put the belt back on hoping things would be ok. 10 days later it came off again when I was 50 miles from home. When taking the tensioner out I found that it was an old tensioner and had failed. The belt was also old so another £80 for a new tensioner and belt. I phoned the company but no reply. This past week I had a warning light come on 'change engine oil soon' which is strange as the oil is only 1200 miles old. I checked it and it is dark. I checked the coolant tank and it is full on gunk indicating a head gasket failure. I have contacted the company but no answer. I have left messages on the land line, mobile and messenger contacts but nothing yet.
Update
I took the car back to them at my own expense. After a week i got hold of them and I was told that the compression was ok and it was probably the oil cooler that had failed. Told me they have staff problems and dont know when they were going to get to it. After 3 weeks still nothing so I went and fetched it back and changed the oil cooler myself. Not pleased with the lack of service.

Had my 2009 insignia 2.0 litre Diesel…

Had my 2009 insignia 2.0 litre Diesel engine seize up. They towed it away for me for free and rebuilt my engine at less then half the price my local Vauxhall’s wanted, Was told it would take a few weeks which it did. My turbo has also blown so had to replace it too. Not as fast as a dealer but would defo use again.

I don't realy write reviews but I just…

I don't realy write reviews but I just wanted to but this out there.
I have a vauxhall insignia and the engine went I took it to a garage near me and it sat there a week before they looked at it and told me it was a turbo so had that fitted, car was the same, after some head scratching they said needs a engine, so I found these guys initally I just wanted a engine, they said can collect and fit the engine, so next day they collect the car and fitted a new reconditioned engine, I picked up my car 4 days later, I have had no problems with the car and have been driving the car since aug 18, I have been back for a service since the install, did a free computer plug in (it said needed vac sensor) they had one so fitted it there and then.
Just wish I had gone here first would have saved me time and money.

AVOID!

AVOID! Paid for my engine to be replaced. After 3 weeks more than promised, got the car. 5 minutes later, a pipe burst, this was fixed but added delay and hassle. A week later the car produced a failure, would go to limb mode after 30 minutes driving. Took the car back, but they didn't want to touch it, saying that it had nothing to do with their work or "warranty" because it was a gearbox problem (even though the whole gearbox is directly attached to the engine), after much back and forth they accepted to have a look at the car, saying they'd have an answer on the same day. Called every 3 days to check what was going on. They'd say it was waiting for time, then a speed sensor, then oil. 5 weeks later, I was told they couldn't fix it and I should take it to a gearbox specialist. Got it recovered with a flat battery, once the other garage tried jump starting, it would not start: A new problem developed while with Vauxalot: The ECU won't talk to the gearbox, and therefore won't start. Vauxalot says they have nothing to do with it. They said they only changed oil and neither the limp mode nor the ECU problem were caused by them.
They have used the wrong gearbox oil too.
They will do whatever they can to avoid any responsibility for any issue they cause. And yes, there most certainly will be many issues with their services!
