VehicleWise supplies quality re-built engines, gearboxes, turbo chargers and diesel Injectors. VehicleWise has earned an excellent reputation for service, expertise and efficiency. All of our reconditioned parts are sold with a full 12 months unlimited mileage warranty (unless otherwise stated) In Accrington, we have relocated to a large former Volvo dealership in the heart of the town. We are only 5 minutes away from Junction 8 of the M65. Our company is family owned and operated, and it has been in operation since 1990. Because of our extensive experience, we are able to provide a friendly and knowledgeable service at VehicleWise. Using our computerised part recognition system, we can quickly identify and check the availability of component parts, allowing us to provide you with immediate confirmation of the price and delivery time for any specific parts. You can buy with confidence knowing that all of the components have been thoroughly cleaned, checked, and tested before being offered for sale. When compared to purchasing new car parts, we guarantee that you will save a significant amount of money by using our parts. Over the years, vehicle dismantling has developed a less than favourable reputation; however, we at VehicleWise are complete professionals who provide dismantling, garage services, and an inventory of parts. Before being offered for sale, all of our new and used engines are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested. In addition to offering complete engines or engine parts for sale, we also offer brand new engines at prices that are extremely competitive when compared to those charged by dealerships. A brand new addition to our services is a collection and specialist fitting service that is available throughout the United Kingdom. Our specialist fitters are all timed served Renault mechanics with a combined experience of more than 100 years in the automotive industry. We are open for business five days a week and are equipped to ship parts anywhere in the United Kingdom or internationally. We provide a delivery service within two working days for anywhere in the United Kingdom. Whenever we ship internationally, we choose the quickest and most cost-effective method possible based on the urgency of the shipment. We will respond to your questions or orders via phone, mail, fax, or email, and payment can be made by check, debit card, or credit card, among other methods. Mechanical Components are those that make things move. In order to accommodate the large number of vehicles we dismantle, we are able to provide a comprehensive range of mechanical components. These include suspension systems, braking systems, steering and transmissions, wheels and tyres, among others. No matter what mechanical part you require, our sales team will make every effort to locate it for you. Please contact us on 01254 388860. Components of the electrical system With our computerised part recognition system, we are confident that we will have easy access to all of the parts that we have available, including our comprehensive range of electrical components, which includes alternators and bulbs as well as window motors and light units. We also have sensors, starter motors, ignition switches, and spark plugs, as well as everything in between. Whatever you require, we can assist you. Please contact us on 01254 388860. Engines, both new and used Before being offered for sale, all of our new and used engines are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested. In addition to offering complete engines or engine parts for sale, we also offer brand new engines at prices that are extremely competitive when compared to those charged by dealerships. A brand new addition to our services is a collection and specialist fitting service that is available throughout the United Kingdom. Our specialist fitters are all time served Renault mechanics who have undergone extensive training. Please contact us on 01254 388860. Body Panels are made of a variety of materials. Body panels from a wide range of Renault makes and models are available in our warehouse, including doors, bonnets, boot lids, complete doors with windows, and bumpers, among other things. Interiors, seats, dashboards, and even complete body shells are all available from us. Our knowledgeable staff will respond to your inquiries via mail, phone, fax, or email, and they will be able to quickly determine whether or not our stores have the parts you are looking for. Our inventory includes not only high-quality used spare body parts, but also new parts that have been shipped directly from the manufacturer. Testing and Quality Assurance It is common for us to purchase entire vehicles, which we will then dismantle and store the parts for future sale. After being dismantled, the parts are thoroughly cleaned, checked, and tested before being sold, and they come with a 90-day warranty. Second hand parts are typically sold for a fraction of the cost of a new replacement part purchased from a dealership. As a result, many replacement parts sold by dealers (exhausts, electrical, brakes) are not the original part but a copy of the original part; therefore, by purchasing the parts from VehicleWise, you will be purchasing the identical spare part that was originally fitted to the vehicle during manufacture, giving you peace of mind that the part is genuine at a more affordable price. Guaranteed for 90 days Because we are so confident in our products, we offer a 90-day money-back guarantee on all of them. Our used parts are sourced from insurance total loss vehicles rather than end-of-life vehicles, resulting in a higher-quality component than those sourced from other sources. In fact, we receive 90 percent of our used parts directly from motor insurance companies with which we have established relationships. Delivery in 2 working days or less. We are open for counter sales five days a week and are equipped to ship parts anywhere in the United Kingdom or internationally. We provide a delivery service within two working days for anywhere in the United Kingdom. Whenever we ship internationally, we choose the quickest and most cost-effective method possible based on the urgency of the shipment. Surcharge requests ignored

Ordered a reconditioned gearbox in September 2025 for a Renault Trafic van, we paid the surcharge which should have been credited back to us once the old unit was collected and returned. They should have arranged this but have been impossible to get in contact with.

Un-suprisingly they were most cooperative when taking payment.

Several months later and after numerous phone calls, messages and emails being ignored, I am considering taking legal action to recover the money.

Reading other reviews it seems many others have had similarly bad experiences with this company, i wish i had researched them more thoroughly before purchasing from them.

These are the type of companies that give the motor trade a bad name. Beware.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. FALSE DESCRIPTION OF GOODS. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE . ENGINE FAILURE

**** DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY**** purchased a reconditioned engine that states they have been over hauled from top to bottom which I don’t believe is true. Seems like a good paint up of an old unit and put out the door. Not built to last. I purchased a reconditioned engine and was installed to a high standard also the 500 mile service was done everything to there regulations and I didn’t get even 26 months out the unit. Bearing in mind it’s only done local low miles. All external components were purchased brand new at time of install. Water pumps, turbos, starter, alternator, injectors, etc. Unit has never been tampered with nor opened as these are sold as complete units in the believe they had been rebuilt from top to bottom to a high standard!!!! I have had advice from a professional mechanic that there is a problem internally within the unit that is causing it to fail. Upon contacting them they don’t seem to be taking any accountability for the failure of the goods they have mis- sold. KEEP CLEAR!!! I will now be seeking legal action and would like to share my honest review about this company.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE
Worse company for service, information and updates.
I've written a review before, but it was taken down ??Wanted to give 2 stars, because the engine rebuild was good and not had issues with it, but it was everything else.
Didnt clean the van when returned, it was covered in grease and mud all over the cab and seats.
Didnt return the locking wheel nut but sent a car one
Didnt regas the air con or install the seals, so the gas pours out. Had to get it done twice to find out they didnt install the seals and was told its not thier job to regas the air con.
Didn't secure the engine undertray which fell off not long after collection. They used self tapping screws and not the plastic clips
Didnt fix the washer bottle to the inside and it was rattling lose, just needed a plastic clip added.
Says they put in a new flywheel and clutch but I cant get it into reverse unless I go forward first.
When rasing the issues I was told "there are worse things going on in the world and your worried about these things, we all make mistakes" and refuses to take responsibility but blames everyone else.
When approaching the directors, to ask them to review the situation, I was told to stop contacting them or I will be reported for harassment.

Poor service

I am not impressed.
I ordered a part in good faith on Friday 26th July.
I tried to contact them on Tuesday 30th to ask about the delivery as it was showing as dispatched and I was hoping there would be a consignment/tracking number for it but I could not reach anyone.
I waited patiently for the part to arrive only to receive a call on Wednesday 31st 11.20am to inform me the part could not be located aside from the fact the order was showing as dispatched.
I then had an email received around 3pm which I read at 4.50 asking me to call and select option 2, I called repeatedly and could not get an answer. I sent an email reply asking for someone in your team to call me but received no reply.
This morning I am told nobody knows what the email is related to and it is likely automated and should ignore it.
Imagine my surprise when I search for the part again this morning your website is still listing it as stock and available to buy.
I am still in dire need of the headlight cluster and I do not have the refund to help me finance purchasing the part elsewhere.

This service is appalling and the company needs to seriously review its processes leading lost parts, poor service and stock still showing as available to purchase.

I must strongly disagree with almost every point you've made in your complaint.

First of all, you mentioned ordering the part on Friday, 26th July, and expecting immediate results. However, it's unreasonable to assume instant processing and shipping, especially over a weekend. Our team worked within the expected timelines, and any delays are not a reflection of poor service but rather of your unrealistic expectations.

Secondly, your frustration about not reaching us on Tuesday, 30th July, is misplaced. Our customer service lines were fully operational, and if you couldn't get through, it's likely due to the high demand from other customers who managed to wait patiently rather than giving up.

When you received a call on Wednesday, 31st July, regarding the part's unavailability, it was a clear demonstration of our commitment to keeping you informed. Instead of appreciating our honesty, you seem to have interpreted this as incompetence, which is far from the truth.

Regarding the email asking you to call and select an option, the fact that you received it at 3 pm and only checked it at 4:50 pm is not our responsibility. Our support team is efficient, and if you had trouble reaching them, it’s likely because you didn't give it enough time or patience.

Your shock about the part still being listed as in stock is misguided. Online systems are complex, and while we strive for real-time updates, minor delays can occur. To assume this is a deliberate attempt to mislead is entirely incorrect.

Finally, your complaint about not having received a refund yet is entirely premature. Refunds follow standard processing times, and expecting instant refunds shows a lack of understanding of basic financial processes. If you truly needed the part urgently, a proactive approach rather than relying solely on a single order might have served you better.

In conclusion, while we always aim to improve our services, your assessment of the situation is overly critical and fails to consider the complexities of order processing, customer service, and inventory management.

Experts in Renault/Nissan, Beware !!!!!

Factory recon Nissan Navara engine lasted one week. Low oil pressure warning light ! Oil feed pipe in sump split in under 350 miles. Replaced, new S/s pipe, new oil, filter. Lasted 3 days, warning light ! Relayed back to them, 3 months later & 3rd oil feed pipe replaced. Both Turbos and engine need replaced. Vehiclewise response ? no idea why S/steel pipes keep splitting ! Cost me 5K to replace their incompetence.

Renault Master engine.

One of our Renault Masters had engine failure after water ingress in the floods a while ago and, as its used daily, we needed it back on the road asap. Searching online, I found more than a few engine 'reconditioners' to pick from, but what made Vehicle Wise stand out was the 12 month, unlimited mileage warranty (extendable to 24m/unlimited for £499) - no other place could match that, some coming with only a 3-month warranty, not very reassuring at all considering that quite often their prices were higher than Vehicle Wise's were! From the off, the guy at Vehicle Wise that I dealt with was friendly, helpful and informative, always a big plus as so many places seem to employ exactly the wrong type of person to be interacting with potential customers! Our van was collected by someone recommended by Vehicle Wise - reasonably priced, and everything went to plan in that respect. We were kept informed at regular intervals as the work progressed, always given information on any 'extras' that were going to be needed (ie new clutch and dmf while it was all in pieces) and were given a completion/pickup date that was very acceptable to us. I've got no connection whatsoever with Vehicle Wise, other than as a satisfied customer - if anyone wants confirmation of this review, we're the Derbyshire Stroke Centre near Chesterfield, and can gladly verify it for you on a phone call.
Highly recommended!

Rather disappointed with this company

Rather disappointed with this company, I sent my details through from a breakers website to obtain a gear box for a Vauxhall Movano, received an email back two days later from this company, with full breakdown price etc. The price seem fair and willing to take a chance despite not overly good reviews however on the phone the gentleman was quite vague and needed to call me back, which he did quite promptly only to be told the price quoted wasnt for my Van i needed a different model and it would be £200 more than what was quoted, no apology just went off saying he knew more than my mechanic and it buy the gearbox from the email the wrong one would be sent, no attempt to say lets come to an resolution or gesture of goodwill. When i said that i wasnt happy and would be leaving a review, he was more interested in myself not doing this as he is a failing business trying to survive and had 20 blokes to pay.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. Upon reviewing your case, we identified that the initial quote was based on limited details provided through the breakers' website, leading us to believe the gearbox was a PK6. However, during our subsequent conversation, we verified that your vehicle required a different model, a PF6, which led to the revised quote.

We understand the frustration caused by the change in pricing and the inconvenience it may have caused. It was not our intention to be vague or provide inaccurate information. Our priority is to ensure our customers receive the correct parts for their vehicles.

We regret any miscommunication and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further to find a suitable resolution. Please feel free to contact us directly, and we'll do our best to address your concerns.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we hope to have the chance to rectify the situation.

Best regards,

I 'tried' to buy a recon engine but…

I 'tried' to buy a recon engine but ended up buying used elsewhere. However my impressions...initially quick responses from Alex on WhatsApp. I switched to email as I wasn't comfortable accepting a quote on WhatsApp and then had a quote from a suspect looking email address. By email I asked questions abut the engine and warranty and got zero answers- just emails from Vicky tell me how to order. So after more email chasing and no responses I phoned speaking to Sam, the sales manager. I got no answers (just a female voice yelling out in the office 'I don't know what he wants' and then next day Alex WhatsApp'ed saying the engine is sold and there's not another until May (...the engine is still advertised 2 weeks later). I've been a sales professional for 30 years so here's free advice for Vehiclewise/Renault Spares owners: 1. Don't call prospects 'pal' especially in written comms - I was a potential customer for a £1500 product and not a bloke in the pub. 2. respond to your emails - I was ready to buy quickly and just needed prompt, formal responses 3. Your poor communications and general lack of courtesy conveyed a take it or leave it attitude that doesn't sit well with the shiny website. 'Maybe' the product and after sales service are okay but I wasnt filled with confidence. Sales is the front line of any business.

Dear Christopher,

I appreciate your thorough feedback, and I want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously. Your experience matters to us, and we want to address each of your points comprehensively.

let’s talk about the email communication. I understand your hesitation to accept a quote via WhatsApp, and I want to clarify that we use a standard email address managed by an e-commerce customer service platform called edesk for all our customers. There was no intention on our part to send suspicious emails. We value the security and transparency of our communication channels.

Regarding the channels of communication, you mentioned that you reached out through phone calls, WhatsApp, and email. We have a record of our phone conversations with you where we aimed to provide detailed explanations about our products and services. We apologize if there was any misunderstanding during those interactions.

Now, concerning the availability of the engines you were interested in, I want to provide some context. We did, in fact, sell out of the specific engine models you were looking for. However, we continue to list them on our website for inquiries because many customers are willing to wait a few months for these specific products. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, and we appreciate your patience.

Regarding your comment about a ‘take it or leave it’ attitude, I want to emphasize that this was never our intention. Our inability to provide the engine immediately was solely due to stock availability issues, and we always strive to accommodate our customers’ needs to the best of our abilities.

Lastly, you mentioned speaking to a ‘Sam,’ but I want to clarify that we do not have anyone by that name in our office. If you can provide us with more details about this conversation, we would appreciate it as it could help us investigate and improve our processes.

Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we are genuinely committed to enhancing our customer experience. If you have any further questions, concerns, or would like to explore alternative options, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to assist you to the best of our abilities.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

We believe that this review is unjust, considering that you haven't made any actual purchases from our business. It appears to be an effort to harm a small family enterprise, which is disheartening.

Best regards, vehiclewise
