Had my consultation at Milton Keynes in February for varicose veins in my left leg. Was instantly put at ease by the wonderful receptionist, and also by Dr Rav and his assistant , Irish nurse Liz. Everything was explained to me clearly and within a couple of days I booked in for EVLA which took place 3 weeks later . Again I was put at ease straight away and my procedure lasted about 40 minutes . I am a very nervous patient but felt no pain and the procedure was exactly as described ie ‘minimally invasive’ . Felt a slight discomfort in my leg for about 10 days afterwards , but this didn’t stop me from going about my normal daily activities. Have recently had my follow up which included Foam sclerotherapy , of which I felt no pain whatsoever and the procedure only lasted about 15-20 minutes . Day 7 has just passed and I have removed my compression stocking and already I am very happy with how my leg is looking - and I’m hoping it will improve even more in the following weeks . Right now I would be happy to wear shorts in public , which I was very self conscious about previously . I would highly recommend Veincentre to anybody thinking about having a procedure carried out

The treatment I received was of excellent quality taking great care to explain what was going to happen and made me feel very comfortable throughout the procedure. I was surprised to only feel mild discomfort. Many thanks to the whole team, I appreciated your professionalism and kindness!

Excellent, professional and friendly service from the clinic in Milton Keynes under Dr Premal Patel and the team. I had EVLA and foam sclerotherapy just to my left leg back in November 2025 and then a follow up in January 2026 which was for an additional foam sclerotherapy session and thorough ultrasound. Due to how well the initial treatment had gone and the results there is no need for any additional sessions which considering I was expecting two foam sessions is a definite bonus. Only downside is wearing the compression stocking for two weeks straight constantly day and night, but it’s more an annoying than anything else and is an important part of the rehab process. All in all very happy with the results. Thank you to the MK team.

After several months of indifference and lack of clarity- plus no treatment whatsoever from the NHS, I decided to visit the Milton Keynes branch of the VeinCentre in regard to addressing a serious case of varicose veins in one leg. The staff clearly explained the situation regarding my diagnosis and any possible laser treatment to me, they were much more helpful , practical and understanding than the many NHS employees I had encountered over a period of several months. I understood the concept of the operation and recovery time, aftercare etc. The staff were thorough, engaged, but not at all unnecessarily intrusive. The operation itself was very swift, straightforward and fairly painless. I was able to walk perfectly well immediately following treatment. I was given a very concise information pack regarding do's and don'ts which was very easy to grasp. Several weeks later, my follow up appointment ran smoothly and fortunately my veins had responded well to the process. All my questions were answered satisfactorily. Several months on, my recovery is progressing nicely and the almost constant pain I experienced beforehand has receded to a remarkable degree. I am pleased overall with my association with the VeinCentre and would recommend the company to anyone suffering with faulty veins.

From start to finish the staff and the doctor that I dealt with were very good in explaining everything i.e procedures etc
I attended the Milton Keynes clinic and would recommend to people this clinic & the experience that I had which was very good.
To add, the price for my vein treatment was I thought good value, and I ended up with a brilliant result.

I visited Vein Centre because I was worried about a vein that suddenly appeared on my leg. The doctor and nurse were both very kind and made me feel completely at ease. Everything was explained clearly, and all my questions were answered with patience. Luckily, no treatment was needed, but I left feeling reassured and very grateful. Highly recommend this clinic for their caring and professional approach.

From the moment I entered the reception area I felt relaxed and the receptionist was very friendly. The consultant and nurse were both friendly and professional, the consultant explained everything in a way I could understand and the patient Information Pack was very informative.

I wrote my factual review about my appointment on 2 August. VeinCentre initially tried to lobby Trustpilot to get my review removed but was unsuccessful in their attempt to ban my review. My review was eventually published. Then VeinCentre wrote on here promising to come back to me. VeinCentre has not come back to me but still bombard me with marketing.
"Nurse rolled her eyes contemptuously. Nurse rolled her eyes every time we asked a question. Has single handedly lost my business. Was contemptuous and seemed annoyed all the time. My wife witnessed it too.
Consultation was supposed to but failed to explain the do nothing option of not going ahead with any procedure. I have to google it instead.
Once you have done a consultation you will be unable to do procedure at another vein centre or with another consultant/nurse.
We didn't feel comfortable at the Milton Keynes VeinCentre.
If you want to use a centre different to where you do your consultation then you must pay for another consultation. Vein Centre didn't tell us beforehand. Vein Centre markets itself as a national service but doesn't operate like that at all.
As for the nurse you need to remember you will be relying on them for pain relief during the procedure. If you ask questions, the nurse rolls her eyes, gets annoyed and is contemptuous. We also found the nurse judgemental.
Really nice coffee but not worth the £250 we paid for our shambolic 40 minute consultation.
They recommended only the most expensive procedures instead of the cheaper ones. Also the actual costs are a lot more expensive than what we were told prior to the consultation.
Claims that this is not intravenous are not true. The procedure is intravenous.
If you go ahead with their intraveneous treatment then afterwards for the next 2 weeks when you have a shower you must keep the stockings on in the shower, you air dry them, and then put your clothes on over the top while they are still damp.
You will pay many thousands of pounds for the procedure. The VeinCentre will still charge you extra money for spare stockings
The treatment plan is designed to maximise the amount Vein Centre make from you. You are their cash cow and their chattel.
My left leg doesn't need anything doing to it but they want to charge for completely unnecessary treatment to left leg.
Tellingly, the VeinCentre dismiss all alternative options / holistic lifestyle changes, better diet, fitness, activities.
Notably the other bad reviews on here seem be the more recent experiences people have had. Draw your own conclusions.
There maybe differences between different VeinCentre locations. The other bad reviews on here are about other locations. So the problems are not just the Milton Keynes Vein Centre, and are not just an isolated incidence of one person..."

The patient advisors are extremely kind and helpful.
At my consultation, the receptionist was lovely and so too were the rest of the team. I found the experience to be very informative and stress free.
Thank you.

After quite a lot of research, I attended the Milton Keynes clinic 3 times in total - initial consultation, EVLA treatment and follow-up with extra foam sclerotherapy.
The clinic was pleasantly easy to find, with lots free parking. All staff were exceptionally professional and excellent throughout all my visits - Dr Patel, Beverley (staff nurse) and Clare (receptionist)hopefully I have got the name correct as I’m awful with names!!!
The results have been amazing. No more itching, aching or cramping and I have started doing some running again and haven’t experienced heavy legs. Cosmetically it has been better than I expected even brought myself shorts which I haven’t worn in 10years !! So a big thank you

The clinic is easy to find, with ample free parking. All staff were exceptionally professional and efficient throughout all my visits - Dr Patel, Beverley (staff nurse) and Clare (receptionist).
Despite having my expectations managed as to how visible results would be, I was thrilled (and pleasantly surprised) to see a huge improvement in my leg very quickly following the first treatment.
If you do bring someone with you (please note that after EVLA, you are unable to drive yourself home), there is a comfortable waiting area and toilet facilities. There is also a Harvester restaurant located a few doors away.
The whole experience was excellent from start to finish and I would highly recommend Veincentre for varicose vein treatment.

Thorough assessment, by Dr Patel, clear instructions as to procedure and findings.
Explained carefully the treatment recommendations, associated risks, recovery and costs.
The only hitch was the clinic letter which I was unable to access due to error in my date of birth, though administrator responded and will post hard copy to mr
