Truth be told

Truth be told, this company is not only transparent but also trustworthy. I recently opened up my investment and guess what, they offer a well written contract for each investment you make.

Besides that, they are licensed to operate globally with certifications readily available on the website.

I give it more than a 5 star because even its roadmap is long term and good for everyone to start now

Why does Vellius hide itself?

If I invest my hard earned funds then I want to do so with companies that are trustworthy.
Vellius is not one of those.

When you ask them questions about the company they hide behind various layers of secrecy.

It has two offices. Why would that be?

Apparently, the one in Canada is for "administrative regulation". Why does it need it if it already has one in Panama?
No-one works at either office there. They are purely places where the company is registered. It serves no purpose except, probably, to give the company an appearance of being a genuine investment company.

The one in Canada is just a co-working space.

The office in Panama appears to be where one of its lawyers resides, Gerli & Co. Gerli has registered Vellius as a company in Panama but is primarily a maritime lawyer.

So, why Panama? Well, there are no financial licences required to run financial businesses of this type in Panama. In Canada, Vellius would need a licence.

This allows Vellius to run its activities totally unregulated.

Vellius will tell you that "The company holds all the necessary licenses for its current activities."
That's true. It holds NONE as it doesn't need any the way that it's set up its business.
Why not just say "we are unlicenced" because we don't need them? Again, it wants to portray trust.

It has even said "If additional licenses are ever required, they will be obtained in full compliance with legal requirements." The word that is incorrect is "additional" as they don't have any now.

So, this company has set itself up so that it meets all required regulations or, rather, to AVOID all regulations.

So why can't you find anyone that works for a company that is based in two countries? Do some searches and you won't find any employees apart from the CEO. Surely, someone in the "global company" would want to put something online on LinkedIn or similar to acknowledge they work for such a "successful organization".

If you look you won't find any.
Vellius says "Most specialists, including traders and technical staff, work remotely". Sure, but it doesn't mean they don't want to show they work for Vellius. Why would every single employee hide themselves? Is no-one proud of working for this company?

So, key points regarding Vellius' legitimacy just don't add up. It shrouds itself in secrecy. You have to ask yourself why.

This is almost certainly a cleverly structured company that has set up a pyramid/ponzi scheme with an inevitable rugpull.

Be careful!

High minimum investment barrier

The Vellius platform requires a substantial minimum investment to even open an account and access their premium AI tiers, which is a major barrier to entry for the average retail investor. While I eventually pooled enough capital to meet the requirement, I believe this exclusivity works against their goal of democratizing advanced financial technology. The technology itself is solid—the few months I have been active have shown predictable growth—but the lack of accessibility and the feeling of being in an "elite" club is off-putting. They need to reconsider their entry requirements to attract a wider, more diverse client base.
