Half my order never replied and no replies to refund requests

Really not a great experience overall.

Things started out ok, with half my order (placed December 3rd) arriving a few days later. The other half (a wearable bike lock) was a present fo me family we were seeing just before Christmas.

Having received nothing by December 15th, I asked for a delivery update via email and explained I was nervous of it not arriving on time (by December 21st.)

I was told that it was being sent from a separate warehouse and would be dispatched the next day, the 16th, meaning it seemed highly likely it would arrive on time so I was happy enough with that.

It did not arrive by the 21st, however, so I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded and received no reply. I then chased the refund 36 hours later as I wasn't keen on being down that money for ages having had to find a different present.

I have yet to receive any reply or refund. I have also yet, as of 30th December, to receive a dispatch notification and the missing lock was clearly never sent. I would question whether Velorution ever had any of them when I ordered and whether the firm is legitimately able to fulfil any orders.

I would strongly suggest avoiding ordering from them.

I paid advance for my Gocycle G4i on…

I paid advance for my Gocycle G4i on the beginning of August. Bicycle arrive after 10 weeks which is very long time to waiting. Seller in Chelsea shop told me it will be only few weeks. When I start using bicycle after few days something start "clicking" in rear hub. When I contact with service they advice me to stop using bicycle and bring them back to shop. Shop is open from 10am than I took day off work to do this.
Nobody contact with me through 3 weeks. After my reminders I receive email with info they fix bike and is ready for collection. I took another day off and I collect bike on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately next day in my way to work this sound in rear hub appear again. I make video and have send to seller, They agree there is some fault and advice to bring bicycle to shop. And the same story, day off, dropping Gocycle to shop, 3 weeks no info at all.
I got enough and decide to cancel my purchase because on horizon is permanently cooperation with service after every few hundreds miles. Since last 5 months I was riding only few days on bicycle which I've spend more than 4k !!!
I haven't answer about seller decision when they will send money back but I hope it not take few months.
I strongly advice not to buy Gocycle G4i unless you got plenty of time and money to waste

I placed my order with Velorution and my purchase was delivered quickly and efficiently. I was informed of the progress of the delivery with accurate updates and all arrived safe and well. I would recommend Velorution for their great customer experience! Thank you all at Velorution.

In love with my new bike

In love with my new bike! Velorution had the bike I wanted where it was out of stock everywhere else. I ordered it to be set it up for me in store. Despite a small communication lapse when my bike was ready to pick up, the team at Hackney were really helpful and when they didn't have the bike lock in stock that I'd ordered with my bike, they set me up with a more expensive lock for the same cost as the original. Dead pleased. I'll be back in a few weeks for my complimentary first service. Very impressed.

Excellent price and service

I bought a backpack to fit on my new Brompton bike. Velorution gave me the best price, enabled me to track my delivery and it arrived within a couple of days, post free. The bag was in excellent condition on arrival and I can't fault the service I received. More than happy to recommend them.

Disorganise bike company

Ordered brompton mudguard on line but didnt receive any email receipt or confirmation . I turned up in the shop to collect the item where I had it delivered but the shop attendants didn't know anything about it. After checking my name in their data base, they had to ask me to come back next week as they didn't have the item. To compensate the mistake made they had it delivered to my address for free. Though the track delivery said it will be delivered in 2days, I was met with disappointment as I still waited for one week. Velorution needs to organize their company better. They give their customers a fright thinking we've been scammed. I will not order anymore from them for sure.

Purchase experience less than I'd hoped for

I was hoping buying from a bike-shop meant a more informed service but I found the process held no advantages over any other on-line retailer. I bought a belt-driven bike which was new territory for me. The bike wasn't set-up properly (belt tension was way too tight) and no real solutions offered from Velorution to remedy it. Luckily I am mechanically-savvy and could deal with all this myself but can't say the experience made me more likely to use an on-line bike-retailer in the future.

Disappointed Customer

The e-bike (Orbea Vibe) arrived without having gone through a PDI (despite waiting 3 weeks for it to be delivered from stock). This meant it arrived without a charger, saddle, pedals, manuals, brakes on the wrong side (European style) and one brake needed bleeding so had to go to local bike shop for work. After a week of chasing, the missing components arrived and I have now been able to ride it. Stuart at the help desk was very helpful in resolving the problems and offered some compensation for which I was very grateful.

It's all good

It's all good, no issues at all. Ordered a garment (Cobra hoodie) from my favourite cycle accessories co. (Chrome Industries).
I had it in a couple days, everything was as expected.

The shopping expirience has been fantastic, my new bike arrived ahead of schedule. When it arrived, I had a question about a couple of things, Stuart responded promptly and was quick to resolve my queries. Would definitely recommend and shop with again.
