Wouldn’t buy another

This is my second tap and the tap arrived with parts missing, we managed to fit the tap but couldn’t tighten it up as the tightening nut and retaining plate was missing. I then emailed customer services to ask if they can send the parts and they said it would cost me £20.00 and were very unhelpful. The tap also doesn’t stay at the required heat. It’s always dropping and is drinkable at all times not boiling! Wouldn’t buy another tap from here

Initial report

Dutifully, I report that the tap head is of good quality.
Outwardly, the product is of good appearance.
Note that the tap is of good price.
Of course, it might go wrong.
Then it might not.
But under warranty, a replacement boiler is agreed.
Under warranty, I will be contented.
Yet, I wonder if any other boiler taps are any better?!

Avoid this business and all associated businesses

Nice looking taps online, but don’t be tricked! The physical item is of poor quality and not worth £549!!! I have spent the same money and bought a British made Qettle tap.

Consistently dripping, customer services tried to waste my time telling me to swap pipes. My water pressure too high etc.. Why would you swap pipes when it’s clearly labelled! And it’s a new build with a water reducing valve set to 4bar.

Refused to refund me until I cited my consumer rights! I would avoid this website and all linked businesses. Hanstrom, Verana, Flipstock LTD, TapDIY T & H carpets etc. Bit odd how they have 3 tap companies all working out of a carpet store?

Watchdog need to look into them before more people are caught out!

Verana brilliant 5*’s

My boiler tap would only give cold water and boiler not working. Changed filter and descaled to check if that was the issue. Unfortunately no.
I spoke to a young man in customer care. He could not have been more helpful. He even offered to do a WhatsApp call with me if I had any issues changing boiler over. As it works out it’s very similar to a washer two pipes at the top.
Without a doubt this guy deserves a5* for his customer service and Verana if you read this Do not let this guy ever leave. A great company and fantastic customer service. Very happy

I’m absolutely delighted with the tap

I’m absolutely delighted with the Verana Hanstrom 4-in-1 hot water tap. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing and a stylish addition to my kitchen, but the build quality is also outstanding – it feels robust and premium, definitely not cheap or flimsy.

Installation was straightforward and took around 30 minutes. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but I’d strongly recommend reading through them carefully beforehand. It’s also worth mapping out and labelling the components yourself, as the etched labels can be difficult to read during fitting.

The item arrived very well packaged, and communication from the supplier was excellent throughout – prompt, helpful and professional.

Overall, I’m extremely happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a hot water tap. Great experience from start to finish!

£700 Tap Broken in 10 Months

Purchased the produce May 2024. Product fitted in July 2024.

The flow of the water reduced in April 2025. I have had two plumbers (at my own cost) who have both verified that the £700 tap is faulty. This was sent to Verana over email and a response received with very little acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused (sharing videos of water coming out of the side of the hose damaging my new kitchen and specifically the sink unit.)

On calling Verana the customer representative told me it is down to 'wear and tear' and not the tap. He was unhelpful and did not know how to speak to customers. They could not send a plumber to fit a new tap and therefore I requested a refund. They told me it would also be my cost to get the new tap fitted, alongside paying for my own water and its upto me how I handle day to day activites with a three year old (cooking/cleaning). Refund was out of the questions.

Highly frustrated customer and in ongoing process.

Bought a tap 14 months ago and…

Bought a tap 14 months ago and unfortunately we recently discovered a fault. Ahmed was quick to rectify the problem and has issued a replacement to be sent to us. Great service all round.

Will update once replacement has been received but so far happy with everything.

My warranty was a month out of date…

My warranty was a month out of date spoke to hanstrom and they were very understanding and honoured my warranty and sent me a new unit would recommend this company very strongly very strongly they were very helpful and quick to resolve the matter excellent customer service.

Bought a 3in1 tap 2 yrs ago from Verana…

Bought a 3in1 tap 2 yrs ago from Verana Recently the boiler developed a fault which could not be rectified. Verana offered me a new boiler at a discounted price which arrived within a couple of days
Communications all done via email but received speedy and informative replies.
We love our 3-in -1 tap and wouldn’t be without it

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. Would be 0 Stars if possible. Bought a hot tap, the box keeps turning off, so the water is never hot. Customer service said I need to record video of the box turning off, and without video evidence, they will not help fix the issue. So what, I am expected to be sat there for as long as it takes hoping that I can catch the moment it turns off, makes no sense at all. Will be asking my credit card to help recover the money.

Verana replaced faulty boiler for free even outside warranty!

We bought a hot water tap from Verana just over a year ago - and have been delighted with it ever since!
However just after the warranty run out (!!) it developed an E3 fault - the water float was stuck…. But Verana were great about this.
First they gave us some advice to fix the stuck float but when the issue reoccurred some weeks later they stepped in and gave us a replacement boiler - despite it actually being out of warranty.
Hats of to them and 5 stars from us

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL customer…

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL customer service. Phone just rings out and FINALLY received an email response after several emails sent, suggesting purchase of new boiler for hot tap NOT WORKING for several weeks......my new Verana hot water & filter tap fitted in March 2024 and VERY DISAPPOINTED in quality of product and services
