From the moment I ordered the table through pick up and placement the customer service and attention to detail were top notch. The quality of this table is very high- I couldn't of asked for more. I cant wait to purchase my next piece of furniture from VT Farm Table!

I needed a custom table for a specific space. Chris worked with me to make sure the dimensions were right, explaining length of overhang and length between legs, etc.... It looks extremely sturdy and the workmanship is beautiful. Only negative is- once you make it how you want it, with breadboard ends, extensions, delivery and etc... It was much more expensive than other tables I looked at.

We ordered a 90" Gathering table in Cherry, and it's absolutely perfect.

A magnificent piece! The quality of the construction exceeded our expectations. The customer service was outstanding. (Chris- our contact - walked me through size concerns with the table and the layout of our space.) The delivery team treated the furniture and our home with kid gloves.

I really love the work that VFT does - their quality is top notch. It can be challenging communicating with the company - they didn't always respond quickly to my questions and didn't keep me updated about my order, even after I asked them to more than once. My table and chairs, however, are gorgeous and I'd order from them again because their quality is so high. The furniture is like art!

Chris helped me to design a custom sit-to-stand standing desk, meaning one that you can stand next to, or sit at (with a support for your feet while you sit, since it's so tall). Also, two chairs. Everything from the steel welds to the woodworking is great, and the white-glove delivery service included in the delivery charge was greatly appreciated.

On my first trip to Burlington, my husband and I drove past the store and I immediately knew I wanted to return. Once in the shop, I was drawn to their beautiful live-edge cutting/cheese boards. I bought THE most gorgeous dark walnut board with a live-edge and natural knot and crack. I get compliments on it all the time! Fast forward a few months when my husband and I were finalizing plans for our new bar, and it dawned on me, that wouldn't it be awesome to have the bar top made out of that same walnut with a live edge?! And that we did. We ordered it on a subsequent trip in June and picked it up on our next trip in August. Chris, one of their design consultants, was so great to work with as we fine tuned the details of the top. And the result is nothing short of breathtaking! It is beautiful wood artwork and we couldn't be happier with it!! We've only had it installed for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on it's durability, but hey, it's walnut, it's sealed, and it's meant to be used. I suppose in a few years the inevitable dings and scratches will just add character, and be the mark by which we judge the great times had with friends around the bar! Expectations were set really well on the timeline of what was happening when. I was updated regularly on the build process and the shipping was quick and went smoothly. The delivery was easy to arrange and the gentlemen who delivered it were quick and pleasant. The table was in perfect shape when it arrived and looks beautiful!

The table is beautifully made. The staff were very helpful in deciding size and style that would be best for my needs. Since I ordered through emails, they went many photographs for me to see details and options.Delivery went well and they were prompt. It's not an inexpensive table but well worth the price for something this well made from solid wood. I highly recommend Vermont Farm Table.

I was first exposed to Vermont Farm Table when my sister was living in Burlington, Vt. At that time I was in the process of buying my first house and knew immediately I wanted something from their store in my house. I decided on a custom kitchen cart after seeing a similar product on their Instagram account. The entire process of creating this was fun, engaging and supportive. The staff at the store (Jess, Chris) were my contacts, making sure the cart was being constructed to my liking. They kept me up to date on the progress of its construction and ensured delivery went off without a hitch.
The cart is truly beautiful... A work of art. I couldn't ask for anything better. It fits perfectly into my house and I have already received so many compliments on it. Anyone who is looking for a beautiful natural piece of furniture for their home could not find a better small business to support.

These folks were fantastic to deal with, on every level. When I ordered my table, their work queue was 4-6 weeks long, so I had time to ruminate on my purchase before it arrived. I generally expect schedule slippage with this sort of thing, so emailed a couple times to check in and see how things were going, and got both prompt and very patient/pleasant replies.

I apparently needn't have worried, because my table was ready exactly when they said it would be. When it arrived, the delivery crew was fantastic. They set the top on the base and asked me to look at it and make sure I was happy before they even brought it inside. When they did, they were careful to not bang into anything and did all the little things I do when moving something I care about (setting the tabletop edge on their feet instead of the floor to avoid scratches while riding the elevator, for example). They were very pleasant and happy to answer my questions, and made sure my table was exactly where I wanted it before they left.

The table itself is beautiful; it's hard to overstate the beauty of the wood or quality of the workmanship, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I'm now thinking of what else I need that I can have these folks build, because my world would be a lot better if it went this well every time I bought something.

I have a client with a very tricky long and skinny room dining room. Jessica worked with me to design a custom walnut table and bench that fits perfectly in the space. My client is thrilled and the quality of the furniture is exquisite. VFT philosophy about wood finishes is spot on! From my experience, real wood finished with oil and wax is the only long term choice for my clients. They now have a beautiful, high quality table and bench that will be used daily for a lifetime!

I cannot say enough good things about the craftsmanship and the customer service of Vermont Farm Table. My order was actually a small one compared to others that they do, yet they treated it as though it was a “million - dollar purchase.” I had three 25” Square Stools made with metal legs and Cherry Wood Seats stained to match my new Cherry kitchen cabinets. Jess Glasscoe kept me informed throughout the process and sent me photos to show me how well the stained Cherry seats matched the wood swatch I had sent to them. In the photos, the three stools looked nice together, but there was one seat that didn’t have quite the distinct grain that I liked in the other two. Rather than telling me that each stool is unique and they can’t control how the wood grain absorbs the stain, etc. etc., they graciously told me that they wanted me to be happy and they would just make another to replace it. Well they didn’t just make ONE new Cherry Seat stained to match my cabinets; the production manager Noah made THREE so that I could choose whichever three stools I liked best out of the six they had made! I was amazed, not only at the extra effort they went to for customer satisfaction, but also regarding how patient they were in offering such service. Despite all the extra work, the stools arrived by my requested date, thoroughly protected for shipping and absolutely beautiful. Each one is a wonderful example of the beauty of wood combined with the work of great craftsmen. I couldn’t be happier with both the stools and the entire experience of working with Vermont Farm Table.

Beautiful table. I should have asked for the complete measurements beforehand though because the 70" table only seats 6, not 8. The space between the legs is narrower than I thought. The customer service was excellent and the delivery was quick and without issue.

We ordered a custom table from Vermont Farm Table. It is gorgeous. So well made and sturdy. Built to last a lifetime. Would highly recommend the investment if you love quality and beautiful timeless design. Our table is made from Walnut and you can even smell the wood.
