Disapointed by cat 47 Nefeli
We hired the cat 47 Nefeli and were disapointed.
The boat needs a refit. For such a high rental price, I expect a boat that is in good working order. This boat has far too many defects.
• 2 of the 4 black water tanks are not working. One cannot be emptied, while the other produces a strong and widespread smell when pumping.
• The fridge doors are difficult to open and do not close properly, which causes even more ice to build up and prevents them from closing properly.
• The outboard engine is worn out. Even when we picked up the boat, a rubber hose already had to be replaced. The handle was completely corroded with rust. During the trip, a technician managed to temporarily repair the engine, but it remained unreliable and eventually became unusable.
• There are leaks around 2 windows, both of which are above a bed.
• The chart plotter shuts down in rainy weather. Fortunately, we had our phones with Navionics.
• The VHF radio also stopped working during a rain shower.
• The paper chart of the area was missing.
• 2 of the 5 fans are not working.
Considering the large number of defects and problems we experienced, I expect appropriate compensation.
