Terrible experience- scammers!
Terrible experience. I was quoted $395 and told the quote was firm. When it was time to pick up the vehicle, they said that the updated price is 795. They doubled my price. This company is just a bunch of scammers.

Bait & Switch and I learned the hard way!
Vertex Carship's response has factual inaccuracies that I would like to clarify:
- When I asked if there were any other fees or was the $299 final (I did this verbally and over email where I received a response from Chloe confirming it was the final price and there was nothing else that anyone would charge me) was I ever told there could be a "carrier adjustment fee". This is sneaky, was done purposefully and is the reason I am sharing this with others.
- Although they say I could have gotten out of it, I wasn't made aware of this fee till the night before when I called. At this point it's too late to shop around and they know this which is why they delay sharing this information. They also had my $75 deposit which I'm skeptical if I would have gotten that back.
- They mention the driver went 600 miles out of his way but I think that is a lie. He had other deliveries around me and I had many other companies that had room to take my vehicle. On the surface these other companies looked more expensive but in hindsight that wasn't the case.
- In addition the driver said that this broker is difficult to work with.
- Regarding my request of a reimbursement they offered me $50 if I would remove the review. I refused that offer and you have reimbursed me $0. I said that if you honored the original price you told me which was $299.00 which would mean you have to refund me $276, then I would update the review, other than that this review is true and honest and will stay as is.
- Anybody interested in using this service ask to review the recording as they said it's all recorded and you can hear for yourself my very clear questions and their VERY clear answers.
Hopefully my poor experience will help others.

This company promises a price (in my case $295). And then the night before when I called to get the name of the driver, they connected me to "dispatch" and said it was only estimated based on previous trips. and the new total was $575. They said the contract they have states that. I haven't read the fine print so I'm sure that is the case. I thought I was prepared for this and asked for multiple emails confirming price and insurance (see below) but none of that mattered. They had me in a last minute vulnerable position. It's deceptive and dishonest. In addition to the emails including the sample below, I asked on the phone twice if the price will change at all and was told it would not and that would be the total price. I'm also filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I'm pretty sure the reviews on this site are fake although I can confirm that.
