Car arrived a little later than planned, and there have been a few issues, one which Holly resolved with the service crew the following day. Door panel was damaged but we are now awaiting for a replacement to be fitted.
Car other than that, is great.

Chatting to your salesman Dee whilst waiting for our car being MOTd, we expressed our sadness that JLR had taken the decision to stop making ICE vehicles. Dee showed us a used F Pace HSE with only 3,700 miles. We traded in our 4 year old F Pace HS which we had bought new from JLR Taunton and had done 47,000 miles. All very smooth transaction and we are delighted with the service we received from Dee and the new car.

When you buy a premium car like Land Rover (LR), you are paying for the brand. This also sets automatic expectations for the after sales service from a LR retailer. I have been buying LR cars for the last 12 years and am onto my third car and second retailer.
My experience with the first retailer had been five star. It was not only the service and MOT experience or the work needing done, but it was also the professional, empathetic and excellent service that you expect from a retailer selling a premium product like LR. This is exactly where Vertu Motors- Land Rover Taunton fails to deliver.
I had to change my LR retailer and buy a car from Vertu Motors Taunton owing to a change in my geographical location. I recently contacted them owing to a Safety Recall Notice N945 that I received from LR, regarding a Passenger Airbag Replacement. While booking the appointment for an issue which evidently is not my fault as a customer and causing me genuine inconvenience in terms of disrupting my work etc, I noted a lack of empathy and understanding.
I would urge Vertu Motors Taunton to introspect their approach towards liaising with customers requiring after sales service as they need to consider that when you buy a premium car, you also expect a first class after sales service.

Had my Defender 110 since Dec 25, issue with vehicle draining battery. They havent sorted the issue and giving any explanation why the battery would be draining and going dead after two days but blamed AA for fitting a wrong battery after original battery failed and now want £700.00. Also did not carry outca MOT that was requested and not passed on in the notes with the third member of staff dealing and there remarks are Im just getting this passed on to me i dobt know the history of it.

I had a problem which turned out to be an ABS brake sensor with my dash lit up like a christmas tree on my Range Rover Evoque. Phoned JLR Taunton and they fitted me in right away! Arrived to a brilliant welcome from friendly staff who gave me complimentary drinks and snacks while I waited. New sensor fitted while I waited, whats not to like, very impressed!
I particularly want to thank Phil Holt who allowed me to come straight in when my fault developed.

The Experience of purchasing another car was amazing from walking in the show room we were greeted and offered refreshments.when approached by the sales representative he introduced himself in a very polite friendly manner and was very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Everything was explained and questions answered perfectly, Leon knows his job and how to make people feel comfortable 10out of 10 to you . What can I say but such a well organized Land Rover Department at Taunton.
When they were sorting my car we had the unfortunate time of the cyber attack but they were all very professional, everyone made us very welcome with the drinks from Jane.
I had to deal with a few members of staff who were so compassionate to our requests and got everything resolved.
A special thanks to Rob, Jamie, Josh, Aaron, Harriet, Harvey, Simon, everyone worked Professionally to get us such a lovely car. Everyone who helped are a credit to JLR.

My car went in to have the rear N/S light looked at due to moisture buildup
Instead they carried out a service and a computer up date when I asked they said they didn’t have time to look at it I was then told I could not rebook with Taunton as they were to busy and was advised to book with Yeovil 3 months on and my lights are still not operating correctly also I’ve never known a company drop so many shoulders they don’t respond to emails or phone calls I love the car but unfortunately their after sales service is appalling
My car is still under warranty still and I feel once they have sold you the car they are not interested
So once bitten twice shy I will be returning to BMW asap

Landrover discovery 1st service 6k miles looked after meticulously , went in for a service and came out with a damaged Alloy wheel not kerbed but something was dropped on it , reported immediately ( car was inspected on arrival ) the car has now just been returned to me for the 3rd time , failed repair the last call I received from the dealer principle told me the wheel had been removed dipped repaired and powder coated , yet the wheel came back with masking tape lines and the wheels been painted and over the balance weights and and the previous balance weight glue and residue terrible internal finish , I said all I want is for the repaired wheel to match the other 3 , cowboy firm they use and their quality control process is shocking , I’ve held back from a review to give them the opportunity to correct the damage , 3 failed attempts and now a blatant lie to say the wheels undergone a total refurb when the existing balance weights not been removed and previous balance glue and adhesive apparent !! The car came back today 5/9/25 this process started in July !! The plot thickens on further inspection today they have removed the wrong wheel and painted very poorly a wheel which had nothing wrong with it! I’m
Ow totally lost for words with the incompetence
