Me and my husband feel Russell Collis deserves a merit due to his excellent customer care.
He even offered us a cup of tea because I was stressed out.
I had never driven an automatic car and Russell supported by taking me on a test drive.
He supported me calmly and professionally.
I could not ask for anything more.
Russell did not only sell the car, but he communicated well and should say he deserves a 10/100.
He is a good asset to the company.
Russell knows well about his job, and when I came to collect the car, he took his time to explain everything properly and professionally.
Even if Russell was very busy, he handled everything perfectly well using his ability to work under pressure.

Like the old days of shady car dealers
The transaction to agreed sale was good - a bit of an issue when the person I was dealing with was on a training course but it was resolved upon his return.
Arranging to collect it was easy. A little bit hectic owing to staff shortages (not my phrase) but it worked.
The downside is the agreed deal wasn't honoured and there were two technical issues with the car which would have been obvious to the team. Also the promised full tank of fuel as part of the deal wasn't honoured.
I've been discussing with the sales person but there was no progress. I received a request for a review (internal survey) and shared my thoughts. Lots of emails back and forth with the manager (Alexander Murdoch) and none of the issues has been resolved.
I've been pro-active with communication and shared all relevant information and photos/videos - some of it many times. Unfortunately it feels like dealing with a proper old school used car sales operation. I've been triggered to complete this survey today by yet another sales call from Vertu for a service plan - nothing is gonna change.
EDIT: Having posted reviews, miracles happened. All but one issue now resolved. Shouldn't have needed the review to spark them into life. Would move to 3 stars

Easiest car purchase ever!
We enjoyed the whole experience of buying our new car with Vertu Bristol Street Motors. The car salesman Dave, was very attentive, made us as welcome as if we were new friends, he had a natural approach not pushy, or dissmissive as we have experienced over the years with other dealerships.
Dave also took the time to thoroughly go through every little detail, all the cars gizmos and gadgets lots of which we had not been told had been on our previous car, which was also a qashqai
and never used, thanks to Dave, we will enjoy this car all the more for knowing what it is capable of, its very much a car for " brain dimmed" oap's it is so easy to drive and all the essential extras do everything for us. We cannot thank Dave enough for his help and will recommend our friends to try Vertu Chesterfield for thier next car purchase.

Russell was a top bloke
Russell was a top bloke, he kept us informed of all the process of the application and when the delivery date was confirmed of picking the car up. He went through all the details of the new car and connected my phone to the car and it was all easy to understand. From the application process to the pick up of the new car all ran smoothly.
