Defective product, no response, and warranty appears meaningless
I placed an order with Veriln.com for plug in CO detectors and had issues immediately upon delivery.
The product that arrived did not match what was advertised, in the pictures it says Verylin but the box I recived and branding on the unit says Moes. The units were labeled under a different brand name than what I ordered, which raised concerns right away. On top of that, two of the units were clearly defective. One had a bent plug that could not be safely inserted into an outlet, and another powered on but did not display properly and only emitted a constant chirping sound instead of functioning normally.
I contacted the company the same day to report the issues and request replacements. Since then, I have followed up multiple times and also submitted a message through their website, allowing time between each attempt for a response. I have not received any reply.
What makes this more concerning is that the product is advertised with a 5 year warranty. At this point, that claim does not seem to have any real value if there is no way to get in touch with the company to actually use it.
Mistakes can happen with any order, but a complete lack of communication makes it very difficult to resolve even basic issues. There does not appear to be a reliable customer service process in place.
I would strongly encourage the company to improve both their quality control and their responsiveness. For anyone considering ordering, I would proceed with caution and be aware that support may not be there if something goes wrong.
