Yes, you pay for delivery. It's often very heavy stuff so no it can't always be free and as a small business it's never going to be as quick as Amazon or other market dominators. Give a small business a chance.

This was my first time trying Vetshop, and I’m disappointed. My order was supposed to be delivered on Monday, but it’s now Thursday and I’m still waiting. Customer service has not been in contact, so I have no idea what is happening with the delivery. I cannot recommend this service.

Had some great offers on some kitten food i was after.
Order placed and was delivered very quickly without any issue.
Regular emails kept me updated on the delivery progress.

Order arrived very quickly

The quick delivery was very appreciated. However we missed the dry cat food was passed the best by date and therefore decided not to feed to our kitten. The company did point out it was stated and we didn’t see it but could have missed that information.
When I raised a concern about the passed the best by date they responded very quickly.

This company has gone from a 5* to 1*. Ordered dog food last Friday and adjusted the quantity from 2 to 1 bag as is said it couldn’t fulfil the order. Paid postage 3-5 working days. Contacted them yesterday as nothing heard. Auto email confirmed received my query. Second email same day ‘item out of stock’ has been created. No indication as to when I’ll receive the order which incidentally IS STILL SHOWING AS AVAILABLE to order. Shocking service! I also had to chase my previous order as it didn’t arrive. When I rang I was told it was out of stock but had received no communication from them.

I rang on a Friday, as I’d not heard about delivery within the delivery time stated. They emailed me back apologising and upgraded to next delivery on the Saturday. Heard from dhl to say delivery would be Monday! The delivery driver opened my drive gate put the package just through it and left. I had to then get a heavy parcel up to my front door. Not very impressed tbh. I checked the delivery company where it stated that Matt had accepted the parcel. Never rang the doorbell or came near my door. I was standing at my open door watching this happen. No acknowledgement from the driver!
