Vetsource is a horrible pet pharmacy

Vetsource, for lack of better wording... is an absolute joke of a company. They keep denying our pet's refill, even though the Vet has approved. Going through PetSmart customer service is ok, they are always nice, but the issue is, Vetsource does not want to deal with the actual customer and they are relying on a digital system to approve/deny. Vetsource told the PetSmart rep they tried to call my vet three times to get this approved, which is a lie. I called my vet to verify this and they stated they have not received any phone calls from Vetsource. Our money is our voice, we will choose another pharmacy for our pet's needs. Reading reviews online, PetSmart made a bad business decision to go with Vetsource, and now the PetSmart reps are having to fix problem after problem. If you have the option, do not use Vetsource. Your money is your voice, do not give Vetsource your money.

Canceled autoshipment still sent

First order was fine but I canceled an autoshipment of a product my dog didnt like on the 13th, received an email acknowledging the cancelation at 3am on the 14th and they shipped it anyway. I was planning on trying a different product but I'll order that through a different company.

Very disappointed with Vetsource

Very disappointed with Vetsource. I have had my dog’s prescription food on auto replenish for a year. There was an issue with the auto replenish this month which was not communicated well, I realized it had not arrived and learned it still had not even shipped and it takes 2 to 4 business days to ship. The virtual agent Alexa was unprofessional, I was exchanging messages with her to figure out if there is a way to expedite the shipping and she abruptly said she was ending the chat. I am switching my order to Chewy.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Shipping is not reliable. They send you a tracking number that UPS does not recognize. Customer Service phone menu does not work and hangs up on you. When reaching an agent all they can say is wait 5 business days before they will check on the shipment. Crazy company I am canceling my auto shipment and advising my Vet of the horrible service.

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! Horrible company to deal with. I received a 28 lb. bag of dog food for our 12 lb. Yorkie. 30 Days later I received an email notifying me that an order was placed for another 28 lb. bag. This totally surprised me because I didn't know I had accidently clicked Auto-Ship on the last order. After receiving the email saying my order was being processed, I immediately tried to cancel the order and was told I couldn't. Even thou it wasn't to be shipped for another two days. After receiving the new order, I emailed their customer service dept. to return the unopened bag of dog food and was told they don't accept returns. I now have two 28 lb. bags of dog food for a little 12 lb. Yorkie. How can a company like this exists?

This is not a reputable company

This is not a reputable company. There was a mistake with our dog’s prescription, and we contacted them to cancel an order. They lied and said the order had already shipped. The shipping label wasn’t even generated for another 24 hours, and it was 48 hours later before they actually shipped the medicine (against our wishes). We had spent a lot of money with this company prior to this issue. It was surprising to be treated so poorly. Definitely not giving them any more business. Lots of other companies to choose from to order pet meds.

Fixed Problem in Shipment

I really have to give them props for shipping 2 bottles of refrigrerated and expensive medicine that were missing from the first order I made. It was a lifesaver to be able to have them fix the issue, especially with such important medicine that is not exactly cheap to replace.

The refrigerated medicine also arrived intact and cold.

Vetdource home delivery is a rip off…

I got the information about Vetsource Home Delivery home delivery from my usually reliable veterinarian Hailec plantation animal clinic. there was an advertisement on a box of cat food that said a 35% discount with a QR code. I ordered some cat food and it was delivered last week, but the invoice indicated that I paid actually slightly more than I would have paid at the vets office. When I called, they said the discount was up to $20 maximum which was never mentioned on the QR code so I really got ripped off here and canceled the continuing shipments. It was only then that I looked up their Google reviews and saw that they were just awful. My warning is to stay away from this company.

Never use these people…

I ordered my dog heartworm pills on 4/29. After 7 phone calls and 2 reorders due to issues, and 2 weeks later my order was canceled. I was never told that I needed to follow up with Vip Pet Care / PetIQ myself about my order. If someone would have said that in the 7 phone calls, my oder would have went though saving me almost $40.00. Instead, not one customer service person said anything to me that it was my job to make sure to contact them.

Unfortunately, this is the second or third time I have had issues with Vetsource. I can honestly say I will not use Vetsource in the future.

Crooks

Crooks!
I spent $202. with them and just like others I never received my meds and they claim no refunds!!!
Same excuse as in seeing on so many reviews….bad address! I watched my phone insert my correct address, I saw it! Plus, I’ve never had a bad address loaded in anywhere from my phone out of all the online orders that I do! Others are saying that maybe they entered a bad address but I’m thinking Vetsource changes it. Then it doesn’t get delivered and they keep your $200 and get their product back.

They use the an awful shipping company with the worst tracking. After waiting nearly a week for my dogs necessary pain meds I clicked the “track shipment” button and it showed delivery on time for April 25, this was April 27th!!! I now find out it was actually returned on April 24th. The stupid tracking link should’ve shown that!
I tried emailing-no answer, tried calling-it was too late on Sat, they’re closed on Sunday (Chewy is open 24/7). Did an online contacts form-no answer. Finally on Monday I got a nasty customer service rep who said it’s my fault for entering the wrong address. I said I didn’t enter a wrong address and she said well your confirmation email showed that address so they don’t give a refund! So they get their products back and the customers $200 to boot!
I see so many reviews for an address with the wrong number or people getting charged for stuff they didn’t order and so many are being charged for autoship that they didn’t sign up for!

AWFUL

AWFUL, AWFUL, VETSOURCE IS AWFUL!! WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO ORDERING. SINCE MY VET RECOMMENDED, IF FIGURED OK. MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER A FILE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR THEIR PATHETIC COMPANY, IN MY OPINION.

Please stop using this site for…

Please stop using this site for medication. I work at an animal hospital but I rather tell our clients to use chewy for their best customer service . Chewy will make things right . Vetsource is ALL about the money they’re more expensive ; don’t stand behind these products and if your pet passes? Tough luck what you purchase can’t be return even if it’s un opened prescription food.

Apparently they have lost their minds over at Vetsource

Was purchasing Heartgard plus every month for 2 dogs. Their price is already more than most online vet med vendors, but at the end of February I received an email that the price was increasing from $19 to $33 for one dose of Heartgard Plus. I called and they person I spoke could not give me an answer as to why. I tried contacting them through their online form and have yet to hear back almost a month later. I have cancelled my auto ship orders and will just go to the vets office and buy it monthly and save myself almost $30 each month.

One Hand Doesn’t Know What The Other Hand Is Doing

Vet Source charged me $1232 for meds for my five dogs. They sent the meds to the wrong address. After spending over 1 hour on the phone with them, they are issuing a refund for the money. It will take 3 to 5 days. I called my card company and now see there is a pending debit from them of 1442 dollars. I called the company and they say this is for a recurring auto ship order. I never authorized this charge. I cancelled this order and told them to close my account. I want nothing further to do with this company.
