Terrible experience
Terrible experience. I was left behind in Inverness and had to pay for a taxi to catch up with the group (£40). The bus left before the agreed time, which was also confirmed by other passengers. There are call records just 6 minutes after the scheduled time showing the bus was already gone.
Despite this, the company refused to take responsibility. They said they would check the GPS logs, but never followed up. Their professionalism is seriously lacking, not trustworthy, not honest.
I cannot recommend this company!!!

Accusing me of lying does not change the facts. After being left behind in Inverness, where the bus departed earlier than the scheduled time, as confirmed by other passengers, I had to take a taxi and arrived 30 minutes late at the next stop (obviously).
I made a call exactly six minutes after the agreed departure time, which further proves that I was at the meeting point on time and only called as a last resort after not finding the bus.
I also requested the GPS records, and you committed to sharing them to clarify what happened. Yet, that follow-up never came either.
Telling a one-sided/distorted version of events and questioning my honesty in a public response does not address the unfair and unprofessional way this was handled. This review is the only channel I had to raise what I believe was a completely irresponsible experience.

Firstly, we would like to clarify that the bus did not leave before the scheduled time. Leaving early would constitute a serious breach by our team, and therefore we carefully checked the vehicle’s tracker system. This is a serious accusation affecting the work of many professionals, and we cannot overlook it without verifying the facts. On that day, over 100 people were travelling on different vehicles, and you were the only person not at the meeting point at the agreed time. As you yourself mentioned, there are call records from 6 minutes after the scheduled time, confirming that you did not arrive on time.
As the guide explained, this is a tour lasting over 12 hours where punctuality is essential. An individual delay affects the entire group and risks key activities such as the boat trip.
Nevertheless, once you informed us of your situation, we activated all possible resources to assist you: we arranged an entry in your name at the castle gate so you wouldn’t miss the boat and visit, and you could join the group even though you arrived 30 minutes late.
We understand that the situation may have been frustrating for you, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our team did everything possible to help you rejoin the group. However, we are surprised that you expect us to cover the cost of a taxi when the delay was a result of a lack of punctuality that was not due to our organisation.
We regret that you were left with this disappointment, but on this occasion, we cannot do more than we already did by making ourselves available to assist you with your delay.
