Lovely warm slippers that also look good and feel comfortable. Great fabric design. There is some arch support, though I’d prefer a bit more. My second pair of Viba shoes. I love them, but they’re ver... See more

Order was send in reasonable time
Order was send in reasonable time. In the beginning the shoes are tight but after a few days they turn into the most comfy shoes you have ever had.
I have bought a second pair and use them every day.
I LOVE my Vibae!
I have had mine a couple years now. I really love them. I do wear them outside in the hills, having that close to ground experience is really good for the whole body. My chiropractor told me to get some and it was really great advice, probably not great for his business though 😀
I've seen the other reviews and can see that they have no customer service, so it's not worth taking a risk to buy online and end up with a pair of shoes you can't wear. I guess I got very lucky.
Fisherman's Sandal: Lifespan of 4 months.
I bought the Fisherman's sandals at TOAST in Richmond, London, in late April 2025. After a couple of months of moderate wear, the thin leather covering the footbed started to fray, then break, leaving a deep crack in the heel of the footbed that went right down to the sole of the shoe. Thinking that a brand of such quality would replace the shoes with no quibble, I returned to TOAST and was met by a very snarky, gaslighting response: that I have somehow worn the shoes out in this short period. Upon sending the photos to Vibae, TOAST let me know today that Vibae take no responsibility for the poor workmanship and that they think 'external factors' ruined the shoe. Of course, they don't give any detail on what these 'factors' could be. Both Vibae and TOAST have displayed an impunity and an arrogance all too common in today's retail. I'm a shop owner myself and always stand behind my products and own the problem when it occurs, as problems will.
Helsinki boots in black…
I ordered the Helsinki boots in black size 36, sadly felt too big. I got in touch with the company and arranged for these to be sent back and send me a 35. I am sitting here with them on! I have read the reviews for this company and had to put here that they have been nothing but helpful, keeping me informed of the shipment and when it would arrive. My experience of this company is great. Good customer service and great service in replacing boots for me.
Actually expensive slippers
These are actually very expensive slippers, not shoes. I read somewhere that you can actually hike in these. Ridiculous. The sole is too thin. I can actually feel the sidewalk/asphalt through them. $175 bucks for cool slippers? If you have loads of disposable income, or if you want to hike in your extravagantly expensive slippers, get a pair.
I absolutely love my viba boots
I absolutely love my viba boots! They fit perfectly. They're immediately super comfortable. Visually, I think they look super cute. The leather is super-soft and great quality. The craftsmanship is evident. It's worth paying for quality. Easy 5 stars. Thank you! I absolutely love them:)
Overpriced and debatable quality
For the price these do not offer good value for money. For £135.00 I had expected far better quality leather. The upper is only lined down to the bridge and the leather that the upper is made from is very thin.
They are no more comfortable than most other makes of slip ons that I’ve previously purchased.
Sizing is reasonably accurate although possibly a bit on the small side across the bridge, although this may ease with wear.
With the inner sole removed the actual sole is surprisingly thin. Given the price of having soles replaced and the type of sole and construction technique used it would not be cost effective to resole these when they wear out.
I would personally give them a year before either the upper or the sole becomes beyond repair. They are a pair of £60.00 slip ons that have been hyped up by good marketing. I would not recommend buying these shoes and wish that I’d read the trustpilot reviews before I did.
If you are on the fence, jump right over!
I’ve been on the fence with these shoes (I have Roma) for a long time. They are expensive, you buy them online rather than try them on and this is a lot of money to risk as I like to try shoes on first.
I am so glad that I took the plunge! There was an instant aaaaahhhhhh moment when I first put them on last Saturday. They have not been off my feet since!
I dressed them up to go out for dinner, I popped out to the shops in them, I’ve worn them as I’ve been pottering outside in the garden. They are incredibly comfortable, really versatile, look expensive (which of course they are!) and will be the type of shoes that look better as they age.
Arrival was about 4 days, they came beautifully packaged and they just look classy.
They are an investment shoe but oh my they are worth the money!
How to easily fall for these shoes, painlessly.
Yes, the one star reviews make sense. Let's start with that point, however these shoes are very special IF you buy them correctly..... Vibae are basically producing handmade shoes and selling them across Europe via a website that's never fully stocked, AND also available in some stores. This is the crux: Check if you have a local stockist. I have wanted a pair of Roma for ages, nearly two years. However the website reviews put me right off!! Five Stars in one corner, followed by One-Star loathing next. I simply didn't want to be waiting months and then find out they don't fit or are terribly assembled.
I decided to look at stockists on Google. As I live in Oxford, it was a blessing to see that Toast had the shoes in stock. I'm a size 11 - 11.5, so I was unsure the 45EU (maximum size in store). So, I popped in, took my socks off.... LOVED THEM!!!!! Brilliantly put together, supersoft leather that is doubled up across the top of the foot. Single skin across the toes. This means you have got to TRIM YOUR NAILS otherwise you will get holes through that plush leather. Pretty simple really.
They are so comfortable, like mittens for your feet. Wore mine on a two week holiday and and I've had them a month now. My Birkenstocks are in the shoe cupboard gathering dust. The Vibae insole is comfort genius, so I'm now going to get myself a pair of Zuma in Cognac Brown (my Roma are in a tan brown). I'm happy to wait for delivery because I have this pair on my feet.
Roma £135, cheaper then Birks and a much more lush feel on foot. They look fantastic too. So, please look up a local Toast if you're in the UK. That way if there is a problem, you have a receipt. Can't see that occurring though, and you'll be like me: wanting a second pair!
Gorgeous shoes!
Arrived quickly, great quality. I wear a size 38 (UK5) in shoes and I did buy these in a 38, if I bought again I would get the next size up. They do fit me but to start with they were a bit tight across the top of my foot and I’d prefer a little more length on the footbed.
They’re really comfortable and look great, dressed up or down. I did read other people’s comments on the staining so I sprayed them with leather protector before I wore them and they’ve not stained, even when I was caught out in the rain.
I’m very disappointed with the quality…
I’m very disappointed with the quality of these sandals. After just a few days of use, one of the seams came undone. I contacted the brand, and they only suggested I have them repaired by a cobbler. I don’t think it’s acceptable for the stitching to come apart so quickly, and I’m really disappointed with the build quality of these shoes.
Great shoes!
I need very supportive shoes and these shoes are exactly that. I also like the funky vibe of them.
Unexpected Charges & Disappointing Quality
I placed an international order for the ROMA Leather Cognac Brown sandals and was hit with a significant delivery charge that was never disclosed during checkout. Had I known, I would’ve reconsidered the purchase.
When the package arrived, the sandals looked and felt far below what I expected from a brand with such a refined image. The craftsmanship simply doesn’t reflect the price or the brand’s promise.
I’ve tried contacting customer service but haven’t received any meaningful follow-up. This experience has been frustrating on several levels — from the surprise charges to the underwhelming product and lack of response.
I really wanted to love this purchase — the design caught my eye immediately — but the overall experience has left me second-guessing the brand.
Very well-made shoes
Very well-made shoes! Great quality materials and construction. The soles are soft but thick/ dense enough to be comfortable to walk in.
I'm honestly not sure where to begin…
I'm honestly not sure where to begin with feedback on this business. A quick look at their Trustpilot page tells you everything — a flood of complaints with barely any responses. It's deeply concerning.
I purchased two pairs of their product, and one developed a hole after just six months. I reached out to report the quality issue, but was met with evasive, unhelpful replies. There was no willingness to listen, no acknowledgment of the problem, and certainly no effort to resolve it.
I even escalated the matter to Viba HQ via email — still no response. The lack of accountability and customer care is shocking. This kind of disregard is simply unacceptable.
I will be lodging a formal complaint again.
Great shoes...very sneaky hidden fees, no customer service!
Great shoes...very sneaky hidden fees!
So I bought a pair for my wife as an anniversary present. I own a pair already, which I love. They make a big statement about 'free exchange' on their website, so when my wife wanted a larger size and different colour, I did an exchange and sent off the originals.
No real reply from VIBAe but I did last week get notification of a UPS delivery... and £52.50 additional fees to pay. Emailed the company, no reply. Looked for a CS contact number, none available.
From reading online reviews here and Facebook, they are definitely a company of two halves: Great shoes, awful customer service.
So my advice, take a lot of time choosing your size (they come up about a half size small) and colour, because whatever arrives, you're going to want to keep....!!!!
I’ve had a pair of Roma for two years
I’ve had a pair of Roma for two years, I complained that they don’t match as one shoe is far lighter than the other, they offered me 10% off a second pair which I recently ordered… they arrived and I disliked the colour so I asked for an exchange, after much hassle I returned them and now UPS are asking me for a whopping £52.00 duty tariff upon delivery of the replacement pair… it seems if I don’t pay it viba will charge me for the return postage and tariff fee!!
Stained/Scratched poor condition
My first pair, arrived in perfect condition. But let's be honest, im born and raised in Portugal, Lisbon so I fully understand and am familiar with the quality and prices of a Portuguese leather pair of shoes. I still don't agree with the price they are charging as it's exaggerated but ok..my first pair arrived in great condition. 2nd pair I ordered was a gift and the box arrived flaky, not in the best condition but to make matters worse, one shoe arrived stained. $270 and stained!! I took pictures immediately, sent an email, was met with silence. Went to Facebook sent a msg, silence. Went to Instagram to their business account, sent a msg, pictures , even called, and again, silence!! Its absolutely, utterly poor customer service.
I didn't pay $270 to buy uneven colour or unmatched or scratched shoes. Will they get scratched in the future? Maybe, but it's not up to the seller to send me shoes in poor condition after charging me so that much. I expect the quality to match the high price I paid for the shoes and what you advertised.
Disappointed is not even close to what im feeling right now. You should be ashamed to say these are made in Portugal because in Portugal they never EVER sell shoes for this price that arrive in poor conditions.
Arrived with defective stitching
Arrived with defective stitching, given option of taking shoes to a cobbler for possible repair and 20% off next purchase. Not what I was expecting, eventually offered return with a credit note. I had to request refund.
Not a great experience overall.
Received a faulty shoe
Received a faulty shoe. Had to return and still pay 10€ „restock fee“. No recognition of this, customer service took 1 week time to respond. For the price and the experience, definitely not worth it!
