Viber it’s complete rubbish. I use it to call abroad or travelling abroad to call landline numbers like consulates and utility companies. It’s totally useless as it cuts out after about 9 rings. Anyon... See more

A random huge charge for a phone call.
My call to the same number was free in September and cost $105 in November. I placed both calls through my home WIFI. Viber "help" was talking about the option of using the original service provider, Verizon for me. I was using "Viber out" for both calls.
They could not explain why "the option" was activated in one call, but not in another.
No thinking, simply repeating the same stuff.
I am reluctant to use Viber. It is unpredictable.
It's something very special
It's something very special. Very Very nice nice
Tired of spam stop it
Viber out is costly rubbish
I purchased a viber out plan and the direct debit payments were going out of my account but not showing up as credit on the app, and it was still asking me to purchase credits. As far as I'm concerned it's junk. I tried to send them a message from their 'contact us' and it said it couldn't be sent because the phone number began with a zero, even though I was putting it in exactly as it showed on the app, with the internatinal code an no zero. Don't deal with this company.

it's 2021 and viber is so stupid that it's a "phone-dependant" app, i have to setup viber using a phone and my phone is broken, plus im during quarantine so fixing my phone is impossible, can i just setup my viber in a different way that doesn't require phone?
Still getting message from blocked contact
I blocked a contact from iPhone, viber and WhatsApp. I didn’t get any message from him on iMessage and WhatsApp. But I got message from him on viber. This was extremely annoying. How can it show blocked people’s text? This is extremely disappointing. You should improve your service quality.
Endless spam tired of it
Endless spam tired of it, better to use telegram for sure as messanger
I do not recommend this application
I do not recommend this application. I work for a travel agency and in the peak season, they blocked our number without explanation. We bought a new number which was also blocked immediately. We have sent over 15 emails, but only automatic messages arrive, which have nothing to do with what we asked them for. There is no support, only automatic messaging. We have become suffering because of their poor organization and poor spam recognition system. Never use this program if you are engaged in any business.
After an update everything disappeared
After an update everything disappeared. Every single group and every single image/video I have transferred using viber.
Going back to WhatsApp and Telegram.
Will keep it just for calls which I have to say are better than most competitors
Why my phone number was verified as spam and placed on blocklist?
I got new dutch mobile number,i wanted to download viber on my phone.first step installation was good, then after installation i got next step(open) when i opened i got space to fill my phone number,i filled my phone number then i got that activation failed,i tried many times but got always the same activation failed.I wrote message to Viber support service to know why i cannot activate my phone number,i got answer from viber that my phone number was blocked, first they did not want to give me reason.next I got message from them that my phone number is verified as spam and placed on block list.Viber decided that my phone was spam without giving me real reason why?Am honest and wanted to use viber just to comunicate with my familly nothing more..
There answer was so stupid and unacceptable,i do not understand till now why they found my mobile phone as spam?what i did something wrong that they decided to verify my phone number as spam and on block list.Am very angry from there behavior which i think was really not honest and not true because am honest person and i wanted to use viber just to comunicate with my familly nothing more.I live in Amsterdam Netherland.
I feel really sorry and surprise to be treated in such a way.
I do not recommend Viber
Absolutely ridiculous application!!
Absolutely ridiculous application!!! Not privacy at any level. The application resetting my privacy settings at all the time without my permission. After more than 10 years on the market and it still cheap/poor application. Strictly not recommend!
Poor user experience. No support site
Poor.
Look for 'feedback' in the options of the app and on the website for 20 minutes,.
Gave up.
I don not think they care about improving the poor user experience. Otherwise the feedback page would not be hidden so well.
@Viber - Do not send ME a request for more information. I will not provide personal details here. Instead, if you care about all, build a p[roper way for users to send you constructive feedback.

Viber review 2020: Good for kids, not adults.
Viber review 2020. Blocks you if your IP is spamming. Not great support. Doesn't provide a way to mitigate the IP issue. They just block you. Not reliable if that's the level of support they provide, esp. if you're a new user or low-volume user. No way to vet your IP connection if you also use a VPN. Comes with ads (tracking) which brings privacy into question. Probably Ok for kids, not for adults. Comes with Proxy settings but no instructions on how to use. I wouldn't recommend it if you need reliable VOIP communications. Not what I would consider a mature app for adults or business users. Big disappointment overall. Recommend against.
Viber
Actually, when Viber transfer and updated, it is not the same as the old one. I am still using it for video chatting with friends. It is still easy to use but hard to navigate. I still don't like the format though. But overall my Viber experience is great.
They would block you when they detected…
They would block you when they detected unusual activity or you sending spam. But it happens from time to time you need to send the same messages to a couple of people individually. But then they can’t do something about it.
Ever since Viber changed from google…
Ever since Viber changed from google to,Azure all the translations are very poor. Often I just get zeros and ones for the translation. I hope they get rid of Azure soon.
I'm not using it ever again
Apart from annoying ads, which are no bueno in any messenger, nothing is encrypted, stickers are paid and overall experience left me annoyed as hell. Do not recommend

I am using it for more than 3 years and it never disappointed neither me nor my friends. It is preferred social media for me. Video, audio, text messaging or online talking. Documents are easy to send as well, and it is always in developing process. Love it.
