Terrible calling service. It doesn't work at all, constantly drops calls, and sounds like the voice is being recorded on tape and rewound over and over again. It's just a waste of time and money. Never again viber !

I tried to create an account on Viber Out. First I was asked to pay a subscription, which I did. But then I was sent codes which I never received. So I could not finish creating the account and make calls.

For some time, I have been hearing repeated words of the person I speak to. Usually, it happens a few minutes after the start of the conversation. It looks like the conversations are being recorded and then played. Viber is a total disaster. I used to use Skype, but, since it has been discontinued, I do not have any other choice, as the person I call does not use smart smartphone. I have a credit which I need to use, but I am not able to carry on a conversation for longer than 1 minute without an interruption. Total disaster! Do not buy VIBER. Their service is shameful!

I can't even access the account after paying the subscription. This is the worst thing that can happen!!!! I can't even do anything, I'll have to speak with my credit card provider and block the bills. Jesus Christ!!!! Freaking FRAUD.

I bought a subscription without issue. I couldn't log in, or reset my password.

Attempted to email to cancel because of this. My request was ignored several times, before I chose to force the cancellation via my bank.

Terrible website / app and customer service.

I got this to make calls but the quality was terrible. I then cancelled my subscription 2 months ago and keep getting charged.

They say my subscription is cancelled and I am not getting charged but I clearly see this on my bank account.

They’re telling g me to just cancel my card to resolve the issue. What idiots.

1/5 stars - ABYSMAL SUPPORT EXPERIENCE!

I'm shocked and disappointed by the utter lack of proper support from Viber's team. Since July 23, 2025, I've been struggling with a non-received activation code issue, and despite multiple attempts to reach out to support, I've been met with a mind-numbing cycle of 'wait 12 hours' responses. It's been over 72 hours, and I'm still waiting for a resolution. I’m handicapped to contact while overseas due to complete absence of proactive troubleshooting.

I had almost 9€ and called from Germany to Serbia. I could hear the other side for 2 minutes and after that those 2 minutes were played out to me 3-4 times from the beginning after my question. I was talking to my grandmother so I was doubtful what is going on. So now I'm sure it's a scam. Very disappointing

A joke messaging app
From all the messaging apps this is the worst - cluttered with unnecessary features, heavy on memory and crashing all the time - a complete joke of an app. It can’t get more unreliable and clumsy.AVOID

What a f. scam.
Don't put any money, the onboarding process is always broken so you can't ever get to use it. Probably made that way so people just get tired of trying and lose their money.

It is Garbage- I reinstalled it to use it as a substitute for Skype for International calls- all I receive is that the number is invalid.

Nice app, I used to call Dubai from Italy and worked perfectly fine. Fair price and fluid call. Recommended.

Tried 2 different numbers and couldn't register, says the numbers were used by scammers apparently.

When I eventually managed to register, it blocked the subscription.

Customer service is non existent, you need to wait for them to reply 1+ day, no instant chat at least. If I needed an urgent call, what's the point?

Luckily another provider worked and had no call lag. I tried viber before in the past and the call lag was bad

Really bad experience! Glad I didn't charged more than the 4.99.
Using it for international call, it called other numbers randomly instead of the one I called.

Now again today calling any viber out contact fails right away.
So far here in June viber out intra DK calls to Danish landline and mobile numbers have not been possible for several days - 3 complete outages.
I have made tickets each time, but never received any solution - tickets just closed without explanation or response.
So I certainly can not recommend viber out and I will switch to another deskphone on windows and iOS.

Absolutely useless. Keypad doesn’t work. You can dial the number but then you can’t use it. I called abroad to the customer service and chose option 1. Nothing. Again. Nothing. Cleared cookies. Nothing. But each time they happily charged me for a call. App deleted. Serious waste of money.

DONT use: scammers. YOU CAN"T CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. There is NO customer service: won't even reply. The system first accepted my phone number and e-mail for a subscription, and then it DENIED it to login saying it's not a good phone number LOL. Now i'm stuck with a subscription i can't cancel and can't reach them, Is someone going to cancel my subscription? absolute scumbags. Time for legal steps i guess.

Created an account on viber as skype is gone thought it would be a better option ever since I have created an account here and opted for viber out and paid money to them
Everyday it is same story
Contact support and pledge them to unblock my viber out account
Unblock my number
And it has been 2-3 weeks that I following the same pattern
They reply we will get back to you in 48 hours and no body reply
As no body is willing to
EVEN IF YOU THINK IN YOUR MIND TO MESSAGE OR CALL FROM VIBER OUT IT WILL BLOCK THEIR APP AND GIVE YOU TJE REASON YOU ARE THINKING TO SPAM
I mean what the hell on earth you are invented for
MY VIBER SUPPORT TICKET #8514825 is pending from past weeks and no one is willing to solve it
Government office and employees are far far better in their decipline than the viber staff at least they don't so much time to complete work.
There is an option for bb too
