The Victorian Candle Co. Reviews

Always great candles. Founds these chaps at a food market one summer and now they're my go-to company for candles and I love they're from my home county of Cumbria. Great scents. Burn well and pet friendly.

Your candles were still of the highest quality and your service was second to none.

Love these candles unique smells last ages

I bought some of your candles at Carlisle Market. I was so impressed I had to order more. All the ones I've used so far have a beautiful scent. I also love the tins.

I have ordered the candles for the last 2yrs for presents at Christmas and Birthdays and they hve really liked them so I’ve just bought some more for a Christmas Present , this one all nicely wrapped , thank you.

I love these candles so much. They burn evenly, don’t give off any soot, are soya wax so I don’t have to worry about my dog breathing in any harmful chemicals and they smell amazing. I started using these candles when the business first started up (I lived in Carlisle then so thought I’d support a local business) and I’ve been using them ever since and not found anything better. Delivered quicker than I thought as they are all hand poured . Would whole heartedly recommend these candles.

"ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERVICE AS USUAL".
Love your candles, absolutely love Witches Brew (my fave) my husband loves the Gingerbread candle.
But I do enjoy all your scents, I do really look forward to your new creations. X

I've been a customer of the Victorian candles since near the start, the guys are so friendly and help in every way they can, the candles have amazing sents that linger long after the candle has been blown out, they burn down to the bottom of the tin (no waste up the sides) and for hours. Would highly recommend them. Never buy candles from anywhere else

I LOVE this company! Recently ordered for a second time. All their products are gorgeous and smell amazing ….. I purchased candles, room sprays, wax melts and hoover scents. Will be ordering again soon and have introduced other members of my family to the company. Definitely a cut above for sure. Well done to you 👏

Wonderful candles and great service. Thank you.

They took the money out of my bank and never sent me my order it’s been over a week and I’ve had no help with the issue either

First class service. Love my candles.

I buy semi regular from this company and I am yet to be disappointed. Scents are amazing and candles are well made and great value for money especially when on offer. My family have individual tastes so the mix of 6 works well for us.

Great quality candles ideal for a treat or to give as a present.
However I have knocked off a star as they took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and I was not advised when delivery was expected despite having emailed.
It hasn’t really put me off but I would request delivery by a certain date if I ordered again

Always on time and in excellent condition

They are great smelling candles and in a beautiful tin

I purchased the black cherry pack which consists of 2 candles , melts and a room spray . A terrific deal and I was not disappointed the smell is amazing on all items . I highly recommend the room spray it’s a great welcome when you enter a room

Lovely scents, excellent quality, prompt service, highly recommend.

The candles smell great lit or unlit. Each tin has a good burning time. Candles arrived quickly and were packaged well.

Bought as a gift, they were very happy with them!
