Terrible packaging every time.
UPDATE: Firstly, since requesting more info on the issue, no one from VidaXL has been in touch. Received a replacement unit this morning that has the same damage to it as the one I was originally sent. I honestly don't understand why they skimp on such basic things as packing the items in a way that means they are secure against damage. And the useless bolts and nuts are exactly the same as well. Waste of time.
ORIGINAL REVIEW
This is the second time I have ordered something from VidaXL and the second time I've received something that hasnt been properly packaged. Both times I've ended up recieving damaged products. It's a real shame because they have such a nice range of products and I bought this most recent product as a tester to then buy several of them for my garden. I wont be ordering from them again.
Second time round I ordered one of their round metal galvanised planters. This particular unit was delivered with the metal pieces just stacked on top of each other. No protection to prevent them rubbing and scratching in transit. So they have all arrived heavily scratched.
Also, the nuts and bolts supplied are so small that the head of the bolt slips slightly through the hole that's meant to secure the panels together. I would expect them to supply the correct size nuts and bolts at least or send washers to stop the bolts from slipping. The holes you put the bolts through are uneven in size. The bolts slip when you fully tighten them in place.
Basically means that over time, as the soil settles and the heat and moisture or being in the garden take effect, the bolts will likely work themselves loose and the whole thing will fall apart.

Refund missing
The tabletop received broken so I asked for a refund. gls man came, took the package on 22.1.2026. Today, it is 17.4.2026. I still have not received a refund. Tried contacting them several times per chat and email. As it is for now, they stole the money. Order number: 0031009716329

The product does not look like the picture and poor quality
The product does not look like the photos the screws are visible in colour steel. The quality is brittle it moves a bit and it cracks cheap composite used. Colour is not black its actually anthracite.

Misleading Description and Extremely Poor Quality
I bought a shoe rack from them, and the manual says it can hold up to 15 pairs of shoes.
However, it can barely fit 8 shoes in total!
The quality is absolutely terrible.
My shoe size is 43, and none of my high-top shoes fit in it. It only fits small-sized shoes and slippers.
This is the second time I have had to buy from them out of necessity. Their products are extremely poor in quality, ugly, and not up to standard. I do not recommend them at all.

Not good at all!
They have zero customer support, some stupid AI agents, no direct contact. There is telephone number, but you can only get a prerecorded answer and after 45 seconds it hangs up. Order was 4 packages, there were only 2 delivered, we did not sign or confirm anything. DPD service web conformation says that the delivery is done completely. Later, they confirmed that two packages had been delivered, while the other two had been returned to the warehouse due to incorrect codes. The replies from VidaXL were generated by AI and were sent in the middle of the night, in different languages and from different people — in Slovenian, Polish, and English. We are now left with two remaining packages, and we are unsure how to proceed with them. I admit they are inexpensive, but they are truly cheap in every respect.

The delivery was extremely late
The delivery was extremely late, with constant delays. I had to keep taking time off work because I needed to take delivery of 2 large matresses. There was no communication regarding the daily delays and no updates on what to expect. The product itself was fine, but the customer service is terrible.

Beware the metal planter
If you are considering purchasing the metal planter please bear in mind that correct assembly is almost impossible. You will have to bend metal pieces by hand (!) and unless you do it perfectly, it won't be possible to correctly insert the 276 tiny screws (holes won't match). You will have at best a wobbly, ugly thing. Also, the metal panels are sharp and you will easily cut yourself. As I have reported to the customer service, this is hardly an item suitable for domestic assembly by the buyer.

0 star for customer service. They are friendly, but just friendly not responsive.
I applied a return for my order, they promised that they would send me a confirmation email and start return process. After 1 day, I didn’t receive any email. I called them again and asked for it, this time the email was sent and they claimed that someone will come and pick up my product tomorrow, then I waited a whole day at home again and nothing happened. I had to contact them for third time, hopefully this time pickup was arranged, but they charged more than their standard on site. The customer service is not just saying friendly words and doing differently. I was treated by three times and I think they do this to other customers as well. I will not buy anything at here anymore.
Updated: At least they valued the customer's feedback; I changed the stars for it.

I ordered the vidaXL Wastafelkast 80×33×60 cm (white, engineered wood). While the delivery was on time, the overall product quality is very poor. The panels are not clearly marked, which makes assembly unnecessarily difficult, and the finish is substandard. For the same price, I believe you can buy a much better quality product elsewhere, and I would not recommend purchasing self‑assembly items from this range.

Terrible experience!!! Do not buy from them! I purchased two items and they delivered wrong ones. It has been taking me more that 2 weeks to get the return of the goods. With mails from their customer service in German, link to their Norwegian website and DIY lessons. Conclusion if I want my money back I have to pay €20 to return the goods when they delivery the wrong products.
New business strategy, delivery the wrong products and earn with the advance payment interest and transport cost.

Very poor experience
Very poor experience with vidaXL. I ordered a bed, but a large part of the package was missing, so the product was unusable from the start. After reporting it, I expected the missing parts to be sent quickly. Instead, I was pushed into a return-and-replacement process.
vidaXL promised the replacement within 2 to 4 working days after the courier confirmed receipt of the return. That deadline passed, and still no replacement, no dispatch confirmation, and no proper tracking update. Their system only showed the original order as delivered, with nothing about the return or replacement.
This has been a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I would NEVER order from vidaXL again.
And this is without mentioning poor quality of materials.
