Video Magic successfully transferred my old VHS tapes into digital format and burned them onto CDs. The process didn't involve any editing or quality improvement, but they finished the work ahead of the expected timeline. When I encountered a playback issue with one of the CDs at home, they promptly sent a replacement. Although the extra copies cost around £30 per CD, which feels a bit expensive, overall the pricing seems reasonable.

Throughout the process, Video Magic kept me updated, and Colin provided great assistance.

Found Video Magic by chance while surfing online for a Hi8 player, so I could digitise my old recordings of my son when he was a child.
The website is well laid out and very easy to calculate the costs. I chose to try out six tapes just to see if the process was any good.
The films were converted to digital and put on two dvd's and also converted to MP4 and put onto a memory stick so I can edit them etc. The results are excellent! The recordings are high quality and far superior than anything I could have done myself. I found them helpful in the way that other unrelated recordings, which had been tacked on the end of the tapes were separated so not to spoil the flow.
I would certainly recommend Video Magic to anyone who needs a first class job done, and I will be using them to copy more of my tapes.

You guys have keept me updated throughout the entire process of my order. I had two Micro MV tapes which have been damaged for nearly 8 years. All these years I have searched for anyone who could repair my tapes and transfer the videos(my family memories) into my preferred format. I gave them what I thought was an impossible job, a broken down chewed up VHS C tape from a holiday in 2000. I thought the tape was lost forever. It was no problem to them, the result is , all details transferred to a DVD disc and the memories are kept.

Video magic restored a snapped video tape and transferred it to DVD. I thought it was beyond repair and they bought some very important footage back to life. Great service every step of the way. Emailed thoughtfully to check some details about the transfer. Highly recommended.

Simple process and swift service

Video Magic converted some old VHS tapes to digital format and wrote them to CDs. No editing was done and no enhancement of the quality, the job was completed well within the time estimate suggested and when one of the CDs seemed faulty on playback at home, a replacement was sent by return.

The cost of additional copies @ circa £30/ CD seems high but otherwise the service seems to be acceptably priced.

This company provided excellent service, from the understandable web-site and on-line interaction, speed of service and good communication to the high quality of the final product, both electronically and in its physical presentation.
The conversion, from a 1995 Betacam master tape to a DVD and a disc containing the equivalent AVI file, worked perfectly. I was able straightway further to edit this production in FCPX and sent it to New Zealand for use in medical training.

I was extremely happy. I haven't used VM before. They did a really professional job, turned round in very short time frame just before Christmas. I am absolutely delighted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or use them again.
