Over 5 hours with them

Over 5 hours with them. If I could leave negative stars I would.
It's absurd. Was ON HOLD for OVER 2 AND A HALF HOURS on this 2nd call today w/ bloody Vivaldi on a loop. We called at 9:00 am, it is now 2:25 pm; so OVER 5 HOURS!!! They love nothing more than to increase your bill for no discernable improvement? Why does every different person you speak to give different info from the last? And is unsure of what their colleagues were referring to? Some of the agents don't seem to mind misleading you either. We decided to just cancel the service, were told we couldn't do it ourselves, had to speak to ANOTHER agent. Were told 10-15 min wait, was over 40 mins for this one action alone. Then told they were sorry & didn't know why the call wasn't transferred to him straight away. Coersive and appalling, disrespectful of people's time and sanity. Switched wireless service to Koodo.

Promised speed of 400

Promised speed of 400. Get between 6 and 100. Called 3 times, different answer each time. cache cleared , no heavy programs in background, etc. I have 25 years experience with computers,PC and Mac.
Bell supposedly at 1000. Even if they delivered 50% they would be so much faster!

Worse customer service EVER!!

Worse customer service EVER!!! Lack of ownership, lack of soft skills, lack of professionalism!!! They kept transfer me over from a department to another, they put me on hold for over 1 hour and 20 minutes, they didn't know how to speak to a customer properly, they kept interrupting me over and over and they simply didn't want to take ownership of the call. I had the impression that the 3 departments I spoke to, were all ending their shift so they wanted to flush the call to go home!!!

Deserved a zero

If I could give them a zero, I would.

Went to get a service on the 17th of June. It ended up taking so long to get a my phone number transferred that i went to another cell phone provider and finished everything within 15 min.

The lady made me pay for the service first before she could even finalized everything. When I went back to the store to get my refund, she told me it would take about a week or a month to get my money back.
Today is the 7th of August and I still haven't received my money. I went to the store at place Vertu around 4 times. I am not sure why this stupid company doesn't allow any refund and mind you for a service I didn't even get.
Spoke to an Agent, he said that the cheque should be shipped out on the 28th of July, but I didn't receive anything in the mail the following week. Called them back again, and another one told me it should take about a week or two.

I am so frustrated and upset at this company. They have the worst system ever. Everytime you called they give you a different information. I just want my money

I want to give a minus start

If I can give a minus start, I will. Videotron internet installation guy came early morning without a phone call. I asked him to wait and spent less than 2 minutes putting on clothes, when I opened the door I heard him walking downstairs and I asked him back, however, Videotron service is that arrogant and low, that guy chose to walk away and leave the customer alone without internet. Then we had to make another appointment in a few days. How difficult for the internet guy to wait less than 2 minutes at the door? And how difficult to call that guy to come back to install the internet after his next visit in the same neighbourhood? Arrogant, stupid, low. Switch to another company,

I knew Videotron was very bad when I was a student 6 years ago, but now they are still very bad, even worse. There are many smaller internet/phone companies emerging, try them, much better prices and services, and they show courtesy to make everything convenient for you. I am switching to a small company with less price and faster speed and bigger capacity to support 12 devices at home.

Good customer service (Mobile)

I set up two mobile lines via calling their central line, and everything went very smoothly. Customer service was great, and easy to get a hold of. We ported one number on sign up, and one later due to having to deal with our existing provider first, and encountered no issues. We are happy with the deal we got, and the network performance/coverage. Our extended family has cottages on the Québec side, and we actually have first-party coverage out there now, which is great!

Not good experience with them..

Not good experience with them... Be aware of the company. they are selling you the equipment while there are companies these days which give equipment for free with their plans. so its no brainer to go with those companies rather than getting stuck with their equipment which can only be used for videotron. many people must be getting calls from Helix to use them but be careful as they are not telling you that they are forcing their equipment also to you.
And their customer service is not at all supporting when you raise any issue with them.

Technical support is awful

Technical support is awful
Very few agents appear patient and give you correct information to resolve current problems.
I called 6 times and spent roughly 6 hours trying to figure out a wifi issue .In the end it was a friend who fixed it not videotron assistance or information.
I asked for paper billing permanently, videotron switched to online billing
I was billed a total of 1100$ after this scenario occured 3 times and was put through their collection department.
Their staff appear to be poorly trained, rates are very expensive in relation to the services that one is receiving.

bad technician

customer service sucks and they're rude. the technician that came to install my internet was also very rude and just seemed like he wanted to leave. he told us there was a cable problem and that his supervisor will contact us "today, tomorrow or after" (?!?!?) we're literally working students with part time jobs. maybe be a little more competent

I just had a service call to fix my Wifi

I just had a service call to fix my wifi issue. Videotron’s technician “JP” was fantastic. He was polite, neat, and replaced a defective cable quickly and cleanly. I always liked Videotron’s service, but JP just raised the bar!

I was with bell, going back to bell

I was with bell, I had videotron rep. come to the door, offered me high speed internet, and illico tv, 5 basic channels and mobile with 3 gigs data, for 117.00 taxes included, free modem and tv box, free installation. I received first bill 166.00 because i added a month of crave at 20.00 monthly. i tried cancelling crave online, unable to do so as it was too early to cancel/ So, a couple weeks later, new bill 172.00. I called and rep cancelled crave, so new bill 122.00. I checked this morning, still billing me 172.oo. So where is my 117 taxes included?

Videotron offers a package

Videotron offers a package. We called, they accepted our order, they transfer our line from Bell. After waiting for the SIM card days on we call them and they tell us they cannot take our order because they don't want to serve us here. My wife number is with them. So now we have to return to Bell. My phone has been deactivated for 10 days now because Videotron messed up. When we placed the order they took our address and said service will not be a problem. The cost to me right now is very high since being self employed my customers could not reach me, so a week without salary. Wouldn't think once second that Mr Péladeau would give a care, right?

I have been with Videotron as a loyal…

I have been with Videotron as a loyal customer for 5 years and this is by far the worse experience I have had. I have been on a videotron customer service call for 1h 15mins and only 15 mins did I get any service only to be put on hold for another 20mins. The agent did not understand what I needed to be changed on my mobile service plan after my sister and I both explained it to her. Then she said let me understand what you are asking for, myself & put us on hold. As a CSR it was a bit rude. After 20 mins, I was raging so I raised my voice and said I don't need to take this $h1t, and the agent started to say put your voice down I am human and I have kids, how unprofessional. A CSR cannot speak that way to a customer and I did not swear at her. I asked to speak to the supervisor, she was not listening. Then she couldn't transfer me to the tech department and I had to politely request 5 times. Then the tech accessed my Helix account and shut down my internet. I finally called back and got an agent to get my internet working again. While I was on call with that tech agent, the supervisor called and try to bribe me with discounts and a new phone because I warned him I was writing this review. Well I refused the offer and decided to share my bad customer experience.

Beware Videotron trying to scam you with higher prices.

I noticed my bills(internet and TV) had gone up by 15$ a month and tried to go see my services see if I could lower them for a lower bill, but I managed to change my internet plan through their website to a higher speed and lowered my bill to even lower than it was before, yet they refuse to reimburse me the money they basically stole from me by clearly overcharging me for the services I got.

very bad company

very bad company. I was with their mobile service for more than 5 years. When I switched to another provider, videotron did not even call me or send me any letter of the dues.
Lastly, i got a call from collection.
dont trust them and avoid them. worst company ever.

YOU HAVE TO BUY THE ROUTER FOR HELIX!!

My experience with videotron was fine till I had to cancel my service. I called to cancel and was informed that I had to pay $190 for the helix router as I ended my contract early. The router costs $280! Why?? It is not worth $280. And now I’m stuck with this overpriced router that I have no use for. I did not have to do this with Bell, Rogers or any other provider that I used before. They just took back the equipment. I’m sure I was informed about this but not as clearly as I should have been. Also, two of the customer service reps told me to sell my router on Kijiji!! Why can’t videotron buy it back?? Other companies do this, don’t they? I hope the government puts in more regulations to stop this! I just moved in with my boyfriend and we both had videotron so we decided to cancel mine. We have been cautioning people after this experience.

I previously used to be with videotron before I switched over to Fizz (which is owned by the same company). As a user, the customer service isn't good. Can't say I recommend it if you don't have any patience.
