Edit: After sending multiple messages to various departments, I received an acceptable resolution where my credits have been restored and my account has been made active to use them all in the next 18 days or sign back up to keep them longer. I stand by original review, as it took so much time and the multiple attempts to contact before getting a response. I will utilize my credits, cancel my account, and use other similar services from here on.

I have been a paid subscriber since June 2021 and have downloaded approximately 40 assets in that time. At the allotted 5 per month plan, I would have approximately 115 credits left. I received an email (with no prior notification) saying my account had been canceled effective 5.3.23, even though my automatic payment went through 5.3.23 for the month, according to PayPal. I logged in and found that almost all of my credits were gone, and only 5 remained. My payment method had also been removed due to a website system update/revamp. I used the contact form, which states a response time is typically 24 hours, but never received a message back. I then decided to take the loss of all the years of paid for credits and went to cancel my account. It would not let me cancel my account in settings, so I had to use the same contact form to request help or for someone to close my account. It is currently 48 hours later with no response and no expectation of a response. Avoid this company at all costs, the amount of useable stock content is low even if they had reputable customer care.

Plus, they helped to remove complaints from the video in my YouTube account. Very responsive, quickly solve all sorts of problems, help in everything!
took a little too long but worth the wait
it took a little bit too long, but i never felt like i wasnt in control of the situation. whenever i had a question or was wondering what took so long, i got an answer immediately, and was offered everything in there power to make me feel better about the wait, including extra credits.
Shifted their subscription to credit card only - why?
Been a subscriber for over a year - they suddenly "requested" (demanded) that I add a credit card to continue as a subscriber (I was using PayPal for monthly payments before). They (UK based) were acquired by a Spanish company (FreePik) in June 2022, so I assume the new owners are pulling a "Google" and demanding your personal data so they can market crap to you. I don't want to spread my credit card info around to everyone. I'm already an Adobe subscriber, so I'll switch to Adobe for video content (even if it costs more).

Disappointed
A disappointment, and very unreliable, I was very patient when I could not access my Pro account, but now have been more than two weeks and Videvo did not solve the problem. I need immediate access to my account because I need to work on my projects. Customer Service answered my emails saying that they are aware of the problem but do not offer any solution or any time frame to solve it.
and Meanwhile, I waste my time and money on a product that I can not access.
This is not the first issue with this company even with the pro account there were also times that the videos, even with the pro version, could not download.

Does Not Reward Loyalty to Their Service
Great sound effects, music, and videos to choose from, but with a very traitorous subscription design. If you want to downgrade your plan from premium to lite (paying $7.99 instead of $24.99 per month), they first force you to cancel your current plan and lose all of the download credits you've accumulated while paying for with the premium subscription before switching to the lite subscription, which only allows for 5 downloads per month as opposed to 50 with premium. Very scathing design, does not reward you for remaining loyal to their website when you don't have a project going.

Same as another consumer. Purchased 7.99 to get a 30-second clip I needed that day for a project. After I paid and clicked on the download it went to a premium of 24.99. They've offered me a 20% discount on the 24.99. What about the 7.99 I paid? Predatory. Beware. Need better protection from companies like these on the web. There the first to pop in the browser listing and the worst with service.
Update. Contacted PayPal and filed a dispute. Videvo tried to get me to close the dispute saying they would refund me. PayPal warns not to do that because if you do they might trick you and not pay and PayPal will not reopen claim
