I contacted Vietlong travel to make the 3 day trip from Chiang Mai (Thailand) to Luang Prabang. The only thing that this company saw in me, was money. They were just trying to make the most possible money out of me. I have paid 175 US$ per person for a transfer by minibus from Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong, a transfer by minibus from the hotel in Chiang Khong to the Laos Border, a transfer from the boarder to the slowboat and the slowboat. Just to give you an idea : the slowboat costs 12 US$ per day!!! I asked to make 2 stops (on the trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Khong) and I had to pay 20 US$ extra!!! For what? for the use of the brake? On top of that, they were constantly lying about the prices and the services provided.

I can highly recommend Vietlong Travel. This agency is entirely professional, go the extra mile without being requested to do so, efficient, reliable and sensitive to the needs of the group. We went as a family with young children and came from different parts of the globe. The guides, accommodation, itinerary and destinations at all places were simply perfect. We had a marvellous time and want to thank Ms Ha and Mr Dong for a special experience

Our family of 5 people just finished a week holiday from vietnam to cambodia, we honestly highly valuate the professional organization & meticulous cares of Vietlong Travel. From the beginning, we emailed to them to customize a suitable trip with a combination between sightseeing & beach relaxation then quickly Mr Dong responded to our request with a great tour program in which there are visits to halong bay, hanoi, Hoi an, hue, mekong delta then boat trip to Phnom Penh & siemreap. we agreed to book after several mails for exchanges.
we gave them all excellent marks and of course we'll use them again if we return Asia again.
