I purchased some tile and was notified that it was going to be later than the estimated delivery date AND since it was coming in from CA instead of CO the shipping was an extra $500. There are willing to pay half! ARE THEY KIDDING ME?

Now, I have investigated this matter and came to know that the reason why our team advised of additional shipping was because the shipping that was charged to you while checking out was under an assumption that the product that you ordered was available in the same state as your delivery address however later, the vendor informed us that they didn't have any stock available there. Now, it is one of the downsides of the dropshipping business model where we cannot control the availability of the inventory and we have to rely on the vendor's instructions completely. Having said this, I also agree that as a customer, it is not your fault either which is why in such situations, we try to cover as much of an additional shipping cost as possible (even at the cost of bearing a minor loss on the order) however in some situations, where the additional shipping is way too high, we do have to ask the customer to contribute a part of it. I hope you can understand our situation. I again apologize for the inconvenience.

Prices were good

Prices were good, customer service was good. It took a little longer than I expected to get the product and it cost additional shipping because they had to change to point of distribution.

Compared to other hardwood flooring…

Compared to other hardwood flooring providers Villohome fell short on delivering samples. Villohome charges for samples and only gives one small piece of flooring while other suppliers give free samples and provide multiple pieces of flooring to represent variation or lack there of in the product.

I completely understand your concern with the size of the sample however these samples are cut and shipped directly from our vendors' factory and they have a standard size format when it comes to any samples. Unfortunately, we cannot control this part of the business operation as you can understand. That said, we can always ask the vendor to send us a few factory pictures of the product from their current lot and share those with the customer so that they can make an informed decision before placing a product order. Poor experience, but a happy ending after all (see edit).

Definitely don’t recommend. I ordered an overlapping stairnose for my steps, based on the photo on the website. They sent me a completely different style of overlapping stairnose which wouldn’t work for my usage and which I wouldn’t have bought had the picture on the website been correct. I called customer service as soon as I opened the box, explained the problem and sent pictures of both the item I received and a screenshot of their website. They said they would get back to me with a prepaid return label. Heard nothing for 2 weeks. I sent an email, outlining the situation and was again asked to give them a few days to review. Another 2 weeks passed. I called a second time and was - again! - asked for time to review. And, again, I have heard nothing for weeks. So this company has wasted a lot of my time and 75 of my dollars. Don’t make the same mistake I did - avoid this seller like the plague!
EDITED TO ADD: Just when I’d given up, I was surprised and pleased to receive a full refund. Apparently Villohome’s quality control process is a lengthy one, but in the end, while the wheels of their customer service turned slowly, they did finally turn. I’ve revised my rating to reflect that they did the right thing at last.

Received item with significant damage…

Received item with significant damage on two pieces of the item. Contacted customer service right away (same day of delivery) letting them know of the damage. Submitted over 6 photos and still no resolution on what to do. Asking for a refund and what to do with damage item and being told to hold onto it until they get back to me. I'm confused why the paying customer is being put out and just wants this matter resolved. Why is it taking almost a week?!

Review of Blue Stone I requested a sample and it was…

I requested a sample and it was delivered promptly.
The issue I have is that we paid 9.99 for this sample and it was not what it said it was.
The description said it was a Blue Stone and what I received was a white piece of marble. Did not appear to be bluestone at all.
