Kneeling chair could not be assembled. I tried for 3 hrs and then I had an engineer friend. Fairly certain the angles were cut wrong on one of the cross members. I then had an impossible time getting someone to respond. They offered very little assistance and made it impossible to returned (still not returned or refunded). Absolute disaster.

So far I am liking the seating position and can see the benefits. The rocking action is ace. As for the actual product, it feels a little 'rickety' - not all screws have been drilled for decent angles and just feels like it's not going to last (i.e., not sturdy enough).

I love my chair; very comfortable. Love being able to rock in it.

Improved my posture.. but it’s a learning curve.

I received the chair really quickly and all the screws and tools were there no problem. Ever built any think from Ikea? Well, it’s like that but faster and easier. 43 year old man with back issues and no issue building and moving the chair around. Surprised it’s so light!

Make sure you have space on the floor to build this as the unique shape of the chair legs (are they legs 🤷🏻‍♂️) will need extra space as you spin it round as you build.

The first sit was kind of like sitting on a sloped hill, you adjust yourself and think ‘huh, this feels weird but it’s okay, I’m good’ and within a couple of minutes, you are rocking and feel supported. I’m 16 stone and 6ft and no issue with this chair. Expect the shin supports to wobble and move a little. This is normal and will have some flex. I panicked when this happened first time (“Oh god, has my fas ass broke it on day one!?”) but it’s okay. Super strong and sturdy and I suffered from a slipped disc, so this chair has a lot to live up to.

Days 2-14 - I started to feel really achy. Was it the chair? Kind of. Having read a few articles before getting the chair a lot of people suggest not to instantly throw out your old traditional chair and move between the two for around 2 weeks. This really helped as my back and shins were trying to figure out what on earth was happening to them. I found sitting with my buttocks nearer the top half of the sit released the pressure as did the rocking. Within the first two weeks, I had upper back pain and shoulder blade pain as they are being ‘put back’ to the position they should be. My back is fighting with me and the new position that it’s not used to after DECADES in the old chair slouched position.

2 weeks - the old chair has gone (well, from the office at least) as I can tell my shins have adapted to the sitting style. My back too. I would say keep the old chair around for a few weeks but I started to use it less and less.

I LOVE this chair, my posture is better, my wife has noticed I walk less slouched, carry myself and my weight better and because I’m not aching, I can keep working at my desk for longer. I used to look down a lot at my desk and slump forward. No more.

Love this and WILL be getting another as my wife has her eyes on my chair! Haha

Love my Vilno! I use it in my office and I use it in my Guided Meditation sessions on the weekends.
Waiting on the stand/desk to be delivered but I know it will be perfect in my meditation room.

I bought this as a gift for my husband after he saw it online and was interested in the ergonomic benefits. He likes the way the chair promotes healthy posture. However, he feels more pressure on his shins than he anticipated. He also feels some discomfort in his "man-parts" (declined angle tugs at his scrotum) after sitting for a long period of time. He decided to switch back and forth between the Vilno chair and a traditional office chair to get the benefits of the Vilno chair.

I like the chair. However it hurts my shins. I'm trying to adjust myself so it doesn't hurt.

I don’t like it, size doesn’t work. but worst of all the return policy on website cover page does NOT tell the whole story. to return this item it could cost $50. not covered by the business. I NEVER WOULD HAVE FALLEN FOR THIS. and how can you be 100% sure of an online purchase???

Great chair, after a month of use the screws tend to loosen, so I have to tighten them up.

This chair automatically puts your spine in the right place and stops the slouch that happens in regular office chairs. I really love the rocking action too, it’s very soothing

We love it! It is light and easy to love. It sits tight under the desk so it is low impact. Sitting on it is great, too. Comfortable and fun!

Bad customer service experience and the chair has given rise to serious knee pain. Left outside by the road with a warning about knee injury risk.

Update: you’ve asked for more info -you have the whole customer service exchange via email. You’ve suggested giving it time regarding the knee pain. I think you should be careful about giving medical advice.

My wife bought this chair and it is awesome. Our apartment is not big, so I like that the chair is so small. Also very sturdy and the wood quality is amazing!

Excited about my new chair, but was faced with some challenges assembling it. One of the knee pads did not screw in securely to the chair and was loose and wobbly. I had to spend a great deal of time working the screw into the pad, trying over and over to get it to securely stay in place. It finally did, but I am now skeptical of the quality and hope I do not have further issues.

Also, to date, I have not heard from the support team at Vilno about this, so I am hoping that if I need to return it I do not run into issues.

My experience with this company has been fantastic from the very beginning. While looking for a kneeling chair, I was mostly concerned about one that would fit my height. I wrote customer service, and less than an hour later received a very friendly email from a young representative, letting me know that she, too, is petite, and the chair fits her fine. She even sent me a photo! I ordered the chair, and it arrived two days later. It was quite manageable to assemble, and it has been a lifesaver for my lower back. I can sit on it comfortably for several hours. I would definitely recommend this chair for people who suffer with bad lower backs.

Little back story: back in my late 20s I worked from home and I was on a night shift. For about 2 years straight I developed a bad habit of working while lying down in bed. This caused me back pains and still hurts til today.

Fast forward to now, having a more ergonomic work setup and having a sit stand desk helped relieved the pain. But I think I found the chair that will complete this space.

I found out about Nobel Kneeling Chair and I have been using this chair for about 4 weeks and I have to say it has really helped ridding me or at least reducing my back pain problem.

The Kneeling chair promotes a proper sitting position when you use it. It helps you keep your back straight for long periods of time. And the rocking motion (yes it’s also doubles as a sweet rocking chair) engages your core and let’s you do mini exercises while working.

The build quality is really good as well! The wood and cushion feels premium to me. If you are looking for THE ergonomic chair, make sure to check this one out.

I love my chair. I have been looking at purchasing for over a year. The 50% sale swayed me and I am so happy. It took a day or 2 to get used to after sitting in a standard office chair for decades. I have noticed a significant decrease in hip, back and leg pain at the end of the day. I am so happy I made the purchase! Also, the blue is a beautiful color.

This company is amazing as is the chair. But let me first talk about the company. When the parts of the chair arrived I made e rookie istake of trying to put the chair together myself. This is not where my genius lies! And I made a huge mistake that I thought was catastrophic. I put the wrong wooden peg in the wrong hole. I contacted the company to ask them to send me the pieces I has messed up with and they sent me a whole new chair. Within five days. Amazing. And this time I got a handyman in to put it together for me and its fabulous. I love this chair. I meditate on it every morning and evening and it lulls me into a trance state and its gorgeous.

Ordered with a little anxiety because who knows about Facebook advertisers? But it arrived when expected, all legit. It’s packed flat and not too heavy, under 15 pounds. Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there. Back in my 20s I bought and assembled a lot of IKEA furniture, and putting this together this was like that. Watched the video twice and referred to the printed directions and assembled on my own in about 20-25 minutes. It helped me to have a flathead screwdriver to help align nuts to bolts. Very sturdy and pretty, and I gave it a good test of 2-plus hours and think it will work well as my office desk chair. I taped the Allen wrench to the back of the wood frame (not visible) in case anything needs retightening. This thing is built to rock, though, so maybe I’ll never need it. Happy with this.
