I Now .... have pretty good service from support

Okay... I am revising my review. Apparently, my requests were going to a spam folder. Stuff happens.

After posting here, they cleared up both my requests. I am very grateful for that. So, now...I am back to stating they have pretty good service.

So, in case your not getting a response...you too can be going to a spam folder....

Below was part of my original post:
----------------------------------------
I use to have pretty good service from them. But this past year, they take forever to respond and I am still waiting over 6 months for a simple response.

Now .... what I like.....

So, over all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE building sites here. I like the fact that they have
1 Click Built in Backup feature
1 Click Preview in different Modes Phone, tablet, desktop ... love it
1 Click Posting
Easy Instructions
Easy to build Slideshows
Multiple choice of coloring in different features
Multiple text & picture alignments (this feature could be a little more flexible ...hopefully that is a future feature)
Adding Pages & copying a page...easy easy easy!
Lots of templates to choose from
Its loaded with prebuilt features ...

It takes some practice to work with it, but I found I had to be more patient and selective on my selection of templates. I wish they would incorporate more of Yovale features...that would be the bomb!

So, with this, I no longer have to learn another website building software or language or install more software & updates on my system. They have it all in the cloud ... awesome.

Take this site for a test run ... you won't be sorry!

Good, can improve

Took some time to respond but once they did they resolved my issue fast. Should consider a phone number for customer service.

I've had a great experience with the service and specially with the support I was given even before becoming a paid customer. I wish in the future it is possible to add 3rd party plugins and not just the ones they offer. But if you are looking to make a straightforward website this is the best choice.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Their live chat takes days to respond and weeks to actually resolve an issue when they are clearly online.

Basic Page Builder settings crippled unless you upgrade to Pro; Unresponsive to help tickets.

(edited 9/12: Removed name issue. My original review below clearly explains that I have already tried contacting Support multiple times and filed trouble tickets (with STILL no response to date); if this is the kind of service Vintcer gives, along with your justification for not allowing a trial of all editing functions of your page text editor, it doesn't bode well for upselling a Pro account. Using frustration to coax potential customers into upgrading to Pro by disabling very basic features (text margins, box width, color, assistance, etc.) is a desperate, insulting sales tactic, and permanently tarnishes the trial experience. We've subsequently began looking elsewhere for our web hosting needs).

I am trying to test Vintcer after learning that Google Sites is switching to a limited G Suites web authoring system, rendering our nonprofit website and my wife's business sites nearly useless.

I started on Vintcer as a trial - strictly to see if I can format our museum website on Vintcer's Builder similar to what we have now. However, I have struggled with the Builder's features, and contacted Vintcer by filing a couple trouble tickets. Thus far, I have received ZERO communication from Vintcer after several days - not even a confirmation of receipt. Chat doesn't seem to work either.

I like Vintcer's concept; however, it seems each time I click on settings for a different section of a page, the settings options are never the same. Sometimes selecting Transparent background works, sometimes not. If you turn off or on an element, you lose all your work on that element. And the mobile preview is different than what I see on my actual smartphone.

The worst part is that extraordinarily basic and mundane settings such as sizing a text box, picture, or margin, are billed as a "Pro" feature, and I cannot change them. I've spent literally hours trying to figure out why I am able to size a text box in a Slideshow but not in an Article, then I learn from the Help documentation that sizing Text Boxes is a "Pro" feature! (what exactly is being gained by disabling these features on a trial account anyway?) It should be with all the other settings so I don't have to go back and forth between Height in one menu, and Width in another. There is no way I can truly try this web builder to see if we can even use it to rebuild our sites before hosting them on Vintcer if I cannot try out Vintcer's web authoring system IN FULL without artificially-introduced page editing handicaps in the way of my trial. If it works, then I'll buy the Pro hosting account (and so will my wife for her business); if not, then we cannot use it for our purposes. First things first, though - let the customer try the WHOLE BUILDER to see if it actually will work for them, THEN have them pay for hosting if it does. That's the fair thing to do. Otherwise, it's like taking a car for a test drive and having the sales person tell you "You can drive the car, but sorry, you can't try the radio, brakes, air conditioning, headlights, or the left turn signal unless you buy the car".

I was NOT expecting free features like hosting during my trial. I simply wanted to try Vintcer's Web Builder in it's full functionality, including resizing text boxes and margins, to determine if it will FORMAT our site pages the way we want it to - we don't want to pay for a Pro account, and then find it doesn't do what we want. Having authored web sites for over 2 decades, I can tell you that things like sizing margins and text boxes are definitely NOT "Pro" features; they're fundamental, and take 4 lines of HTML to code. You'll cause customer abrasion, frustration and deterred Pro sales by blocking basic authoring capabilities in the page editor during a test-drive trial than allowing a bona-fide full capability trial experience within Builder, then selling the hosting ability when people see how well it works.

Hi Darwin

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. But just because we are not giving full-featured free trial that's doesn't mean the services are bad or we don't care about our customers. Did you try contacting our support team? We have documentation explaining our builder and our support team goes beyond the boundaries to help individuals and businesses solve their problems.

We do provide free trials but some features aren't available in a trial mode like connecting your domain  (but a free preview URL is provided so you can check the website in real devices).

You only have to subscribe if you want to connect your domain or to access a few more pro features.

In case if you don't want to continue, you can always ask for a refund within 7 days after the upgrade.

As we provide multiple products so all purchase comes with license transfer options too, you can transfer the license/purchase to new tools.

But we work hard to help our customers and provide support as much as we can, so giving a lower rating just because you didn't get the pro trial isn't fair.

Website builder works perfectly fine

Website builder works perfectly fine. I'm usinf them for website builder and its first-rate and is derived with a number of options.

Support group is a bit sluggish. Worth the cash I've spent on it.

Not sure it's worth it.

Their customer service is great, there's no doubt. However, to get the actual layout to match what you want it to do is absolutely impossible. And once I DO set it to how I want it to look, it's completely different a few days later (like the text formatting or the image position).

Really the best website builder

Really the best website builder. Customer care is always available for you and super kind. I recommend it to all of my friends. The special feature of one-time payment is the most clever in the crowded website builders' market. Thank you!

They are very responsive, usually less than 2 hours and they answer any and all my questions.
