I had a very bad experience with Vinted. I purchased a Gucci bag that turned out to be counterfeit and I even provided a LegitGrails authentication certificate confirming it was fake. I returned the item through Vinted’s system, but the seller falsely claimed it was damaged and Vinted still released the payment to the seller.

Even worse, the seller relisted the same bag again, which clearly shows it was not actually damaged. Despite all the evidence, Vinted ignored the counterfeit issue and focused only on “packaging”.

This raises serious concerns about buyer protection and the platform allowing counterfeit items to be sold without consequences. Very disappointing experience.

User kokolo2024 reported Zara jacket with TAG as a fake one and vinted blocked my account and stopped all my conversations. What can I do? I send them qr code and invoice but still no reply. I asked for her personal data to legally proceed with the claim for theft.

Warning! Vinted refuses to refund my money for a purchase canceled on Feb 7, 2026. Despite providing bank statements proving the transaction was completed (partly via Vinted balance, partly via card), their support keeps sending automated bot replies claiming the payment wasn't made. They ignore all evidence. This is an illegal withholding of funds. I am initiating a chargeback through my bank and reporting them to consumer protection.

New user, sold two items, bought one, communication with sellers and buyers ok, but account got banned for no reason. A few days contacting support which gave no useful info, looks like AI generated messages. Luckily transactions completed but won't be using it again. Scam company with no regard to customers!
