As a seller its the worst place to sell on. Not the people, but the app and customer service are not what I expected

You have to be extremely careful here. There are many cheaters on this platform and Vinted is not very helpful when it comes to protecting the buyer, after they get your money they just close the case when you have issues with them. I have returned the item and the seller who agreed with the return declared that I did not seal the item and it just fell out. Which is more than crazy to believe since which crazy person does not seal the bag sending it back. Anyway Vinted just agreed to give my money to the seller and closed my case. It’s the themost nasty thing I’ve ever experienced on this platform but there are more.

I was recomanded to try Vinted by a friend, so I quite easily made an account and downloaded a few articles to sell. Reactions/Selling things are a simple proces, processing including payments easy and without hick-ups too. I try to have open conversations with buyers which works wonderfull. I am really HAPPY to use Vinted.
One proces with combined articles went wrong, and that wasn't a good experience because a solution, cust.service both were difficult and impossible to find..which has cost me a 'client/buyer'.. But overall I am sattisfied.

Vinted makes it possible to report replicas (fake products). When you make a report, you automatically receive a message stating that it does not violate their policy. If you then object, it takes 5 days before they look into it. In the meantime, scammers can simply sell their junk to people who think they are buying genuine brands. I have objected at least 100 times, but Vinted just leaves fake items listed. You really have to go to great lengths to file a report. You are not taken seriously. BEWARE OF A LOT OF FAKE ITEMS.

Love Vinted, people actually buy your stuff and you can negotiate price too and you have the option to use the money again on vinted or you can transfer it to your bank account.

I dislike the way of treatment.
I bought a watch, witch I tought was a original. When I did a resale I was locked out from Vinted.
Till 20th of april. But on the 20th of april I was stille locked out.

If you have a problem by selling an item, there is nothing Vinted will do for you. The buyer always has a better position. So scamming is way too easy as a buyer. I sold something perfectly packaged and the buyer complained about it being ripped open, showing only pictures from after the box was opened. What was my position? I had to refund the buyer ánd lost my item. And this is how Vinted treats sellers. Small tip, make photo‘s and video‘s, as many as you can. And MAYBE Vinted will then help. But, you never know.

It is an easy clear app to sell stuff, with international reach. Also very handy for me is the wallet inside the app. Saves records and costs on your bank account. Also trading via this app reduces costs for transport.
