He was patient, professional, and always explained everything clearly. His lessons gave me the confidence and skills I needed to pass.

I passed my driving test in first attempt with four minus. My instructor was sajad pal and one of the nicest person I have ever met. If you want to pass, make sure you took lessons with sajad.

I would like to say a very big thank you to Rana for all his patience, support, encouragement, and dedication throughout my learning journey.

Rana taught me how to drive from scratch — literally from the day I could barely move the steering wheel — and patiently guided me every step of the way. He has an excellent knowledge of his job, and he always took the time to explain things clearly and make sure I understood not just how to drive, but how to drive safely and responsibly.

One thing I really appreciated was how much emphasis he placed on the rules of the road. He always reminded me that driving is about following the rules, being aware, and keeping myself and others safe. He taught me the skills and knowledge I needed to become a confident and safe driver.

There were times when I doubted myself, but Rana was always patient, encouraging, and supportive. He helped bring out the confidence in me and believed in me throughout the process.

I am so happy to say that I passed my driving test today, and I genuinely couldn’t have done it without his guidance, advice, encouragement, and hard work.

Thank you so much, Rana, for everything you have done for me. I truly appreciate all your efforts and support. I would highly recommend Rana to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable, supportive, and professional driving instructor.

I booked a 2-hour driving lesson with instructor Sajad, expecting the majority of the session to be practical driving tuition. Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to drive for hardly 30 minutes, while around 1.5 hours of the lesson was spent talking rather than driving.
The instructor also arrived approximately 10 minutes late, and the lesson was ended early. As a result, I received significantly less practical driving tuition than the 2 hours I had paid for.
What I found particularly disappointing was that the experience was very demotivating and left me feeling that my confidence was being reduced rather than built up. I was also left with the impression that I was being encouraged to book more and more lessons instead of making effective use of the lesson time I had already paid for. This made me question whether the focus was really on helping me progress during the lesson.
Overall, this was one of the worst driving lessons I have experienced, and I was extremely disappointed with the service. I expected 2 hours of driving tuition and instead received only around 30 minutes of actual driving.
This review is based entirely on my genuine personal experience of the lesson.

Have to give a special shoutout to my driving instructor Sajad Pal for the way he conducted my driving lessons. He had me ready for my driving test in less than 6 weeks and in less than 10 lessons leading me to a first time pass. He was very easy to work with and get along, very sociable and patient, perfect for a new learner. He also lead two friends of mine to passing there driving tests in around the same time period. I would highly recommend him and a by proxy the rest of his driving school for anyone who wants to learn how to drive.

I had a very positive experience with Virk Driving School. They were always professional and reliable with lesson schedules and made sure I didn’t have to worry about any of the test-day logistics.

I trained with Sajad Pal, who is a truly textbook instructor. He is thorough, knowledgeable and structured. He made sure I understood every aspect of the driving test, became confident with all the manoeuvres and could anticipate the things an examiner might mark me down for.

We practised all the required skills and drove along various test routes. However, Sajad always reminded me that the actual test could take me somewhere completely unfamiliar, so the focus was never on memorising routes, it was on developing the skills to drive safely and confidently anywhere.

I passed on my second attempt, but I was very happy to continue my training with Sajad because I trusted him and knew that I was being properly prepared. Passing ultimately also depends on managing your nerves, applying what you have practised and dealing with whatever happens on the day. Thanks to our lessons, I went into my test feeling very well prepared.

I would happily recommend both Sajad and Virk Driving School.

I am so grateful for my driving instructor, Samina! Thanks to her incredible support, I have finally passed my driving test.
She always creates a personal bond with the student which helped to make me feel at ease. She is also very patient, kind and encouraging. No matter how nervous I was she was always positive, explaining my mistakes immediately and making me try again and again until it was all perfect, she believed in me when in moments when I was not so confident in myself.
I enjoyed all my lessons with her and I appreciate her guidance and would recommend Samina for anyone who is looking for a professional and supportive instructor. I wish Samina and her team the best!

I started learning to drive from scratch with Rana, and couldn't have asked for a better instructor!!! From my very first lesson to passing my test today, he was always calm, patient, friendly and very supportive.

I passed my practical driving test on 8 July, 2026. thanks to Rana at Virk Driving School. He's a patient, detailed, and supportive instructor who ensures you master each skill before progressing. His reassurance and encouragement gave me confidence for my test. I highly recommend Rana to anyone who wants to learn properly—the process may take time, but the results are worth it. He predicted accurately as to where my test will likely take place which helped a lot in my preparation

I’ve never driven in my life before and it was very daunting but he was so patient, calm and collected. He always took the time to explain and find a way of making it feel easy to understand.

I agree with five star rating. I took lessons from Ms. Tayyaba Naz for six days and passed in first attempt.

I contacted Virk Driving School and requested automatic lessons with a female instructor. Shortly after this Tayyaba Naaz (Naz), who drives a blue Toyota Yaris hybrid, contacted me and not having a clue I booked a 10-hour course with her which took place this week (from Monday to Friday). I have a full driving licence but I got it a long time ago and I haven’t been driving ever since, so I was a complete beginner. I remembered the theory and I have been revising the High Way code etc weeks before the lessons. On the first couple of days I was very cautious with my speed, but we were only driving on roads with a 20 mph speed limit with parked cars on either or both sides of the road, however, she seemed very annoyed and irritated and kept telling me to go faster as soon as a car appeared behind us. She often said to me something like ‘The car behind is going to crash into you, you need to go faster’, but she said it in a tone that was very serious, irritated and annoyed all at the same time. I was already very nervous, but she made me feel very uncomfortable and tense inside the car. She just didn’t seem to have any patience at all. I had some issues with staying too close to the left or not stirring left enough when turning left and then she asked me several times: ‘What are you going to do about that?’ using a very irritated and annoyed tone or voice. As the week progressed I noticed that she really didn’t like whenever cars appeared behind us and she was constantly asking me to pull over to the left. Whilst I understand that I needed to practise pulling over to the left it was way too frequent and unnecessary. On Thursday we were driving on Buckfast Road (which is another 20 mph road) in Morden with cars parked on both sides of the road so I was driving at about 10-12 mph and suddenly I spotted in the interior mirror that the driver behind us was getting annoyed and then he eventually sounded his horn. Naz immediately asked me to pull over to the left. She made me feel like I did something wrong even though that angry driver was clearly out of line. I was upset not because of that aggressive driver, but because she made me pull over even though I didn’t do anything wrong and then she didn’t say much apart from: ‘I can’t control how other people behave on the road’. At that point I actually asked her if I could get my refund for the following day (which would have been our last lesson on Friday). I don’t think she is a good instructor, she has no people skills, she didn’t have much patience, she didn’t give any positive feedback and she just seemed to get annoyed and irritated and she communicated this clearly with the tone of her voice when she spoke to me. This made the whole experience very tense, negative and depressing.

Rana is a brilliant driving instructor! He helped me pass my test with no trouble at all. He wastes no time getting you test-ready, teaching you everything you need to know while making sure you are totally comfortable on the road. His instructions are clear, and he is great at focusing on your weak areas so you are fully prepared for the exam. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone!"

I passed my driving test today on my first attempt with only three minors, and I couldn’t have done it without Sajjad from Virk Driving School. He is an excellent instructor patient, professional, knowledgeable, and very supportive throughout the entire learning process.
