I rarely write reviews but I genuinely had a rare experience working with Visio lending thanks to Banks Mattingly. For one thing he is a very genuine and polite person and real warmth came through. I was always able to get a hold of him when I had a question. As for Visio they were the first company I approached for a refinance and it turned out they offered the best terms. I have done this numerous times over the years so I write with some knowledge. The lady doing the underwriting or documentation gathering Ana was also a very helpful and nice person to deal with. It’s a stressful process but I really have no complaints and couldn’t offer a higher recommendation. Thank you 🙏

I had a great experience working with this lender. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and much faster than I expected. Communication was clear throughout, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. One thing I really appreciated was the transparency and fairness of the fees, they were very reasonable compared to what I’ve seen elsewhere. I recently brokered a loan through Visio and have a 2nd deal going through this Friday with Visio. April has been amazing. Very responsive, always kept me in the loop, and she worked so hard to get this 2nd deal done on time. Also, my account executive there Sergio was on his game during the whole process. I can't speak highly enough about both of them, they were great. I would highly recommend both of them for any deals you or your clients have.

My rep is John Mele, he's responsive, efficient, and will advocate for my clients. I have done multiple deals with John and he's shown constant commitment to making sure my deal is handled properly and prompt.

I’d give them negative stars if I could. Heather Smith is the most incompetent underwriters I have ever worked with. Got the clear to close. Then they reneged on it. Now the seller will be going after me for liquidated damages. They haven’t had the courage to call me to even give me an explanation!!!! Run fast from this company they are absolutely the WORST! Incompetent is throughout this scam of a lender!!!!

Advertised for Bridge Loan for short term financing and when I called " said when don't have it and we don't offer".

RUN!!!!!!! If you don't send in your payment 7-10 days before the 1st They wont Post it by the 16th. They then hit you with a Late Fee. I have two mortgages with them and many with other banks. They all post within (3) days. Visio will force you into ACH. They don't post check payments in a timely manner, 10 14 days to post. Filing a CT Banking Complaint now.

The company delayed my mortgage on purpose to increase the annual percentage rate. It did not matter that I paid extra fee to have the appraisal expedited as well as the mortgage application. I will not recommend them to anybody. The company has also hidden fees that will be disclose a day before closing date.

I have financed the purchase of several businesses and investment properties over the years, but have seldom experienced the level of satisfaction as the one I had with Visio Lending's Don Poyner.

After a somewhat difficult situation with one of the Account Executives, Don rose to the occasion and promptly rectified the problem. His timeliness and results orientation were truly exemplary.

Will definitely use Visio Lending in the future… thanks almost exclusively to Don Poyner's intermediation.

I had the opportunity to work with an outstanding representative from Visio Lending. The individual (Michael W) was extremely responsive and knowledgeable on the lending process. I would certainly work with them again.

This is the first time to dedicate time and energy on a bad review. That means I feel strongly about it. I’ve done 6+ loans with Visio and this last experience was the last time I’ll use them. Disappointed, because John S was amazing to deal with. In my military days the saying was “he’s a stud amongst duds.” Visio always took way too long to complete deals, along with poor communication, high fees, and forcing borrowers to use their title company. But, they were the only game in town. So, I went along with it. This last deal was over the top bad. They’re appraiser came in $70k below actual value (had another appraisal done), and went out of his way to make himself seem “smart.” Visio didn’t budge on making the deal work, and kept my upfront fees. The lack of care for a loyal, long term customer was disappointing. Luckily, there’s other lenders doing the same thing - and they do it faster, cheaper, and value the business. Stay away from Visio.

I closed four loans with Visio My broker was Brandon Tully. He was always quick to respond and very helpfully throughout the whole process. I would most definitely use them again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Hands down, they are the worst lender I have come across in my 30+ years of buying and selling real estate. If you are a seller, do not sell to a buyer who is using this lender. It took 12 weeks to close a simple real estate transactions. They lack professionalism and communication skills and were deemed the most bizarre lender by the title company. STAY AWAY!

Visio - run, don't walk from them. Their rates are amongst the highest, they talk a good game when they want your sale and after you are locked into their process, welcome to hell on earth!

Absolute lack of professionalism and communication skills, finger pointing at every stage! Different departments make it sound like the problem is elsewhere both within and outside the company. What was originally supposed to be a 30 day loan got extended to 45 days and now I'll be lucky if we close in 60+ days!

Last time I consider Visio was the first and only time!

I am Dealing with a broker there named Jose salcedo. He is absolutely the worst. Does not return calls or emails. I left a phone message and email with Visio telling them I would like to have a another broker on my file and they don’t return any messages either. The funny thing is I have 2 outstanding loans with them and never missed 1 payment to them in 2 years. Just horrible unprofessional company to deal with at this point. Call Lima Capital for better service and rates.

Would not recommend. Spent almost 3 months trying to get them to put a deal together and they came back with an appraisal that was 75% of the value of what my property was appraised at just 3 months ago (prior to renovations). These guys are used car salesmen hacks. Don't buy the "easy to close" BS, this will take longer and waste more of your time than your local bank. Also, their terms are worse than most banks. They have pre-payment penalties, which most banks I work with do not.

This will be the second cash out refinance with Visio Lending and Alex and both have gone smooth. A little follow up was needed but nothing major as encountered with other lending companies. I would recommend refinances with Visio for sure.
