Dealt with Austen at the Pembina…

Dealt with Austen at the Pembina highway store in Winnipeg and Harsh as the cashier. Austen knew exactly what we were looking for and sent someone to see if it was in stock at the back and it was. We need a plug for the outlet with a special spot and he also had that. Gave us the whole package at a cost price. Now our TV works again no thanks to Rogers/Shaw that gave us no choice with the ignite tv cable box which runs totally on internet now.

Purchaced a car head unit and elected…

Purchaced a car head unit and elected to have it installed by the best in Biz,30 years high end service,not Visions as I wanted speakers not supplied by Visions.Just outside the 30 days an internal issue occured,power comes on,then volume shuts off,all other functions fine.Now they are asking for the installer to diagnose this internal issue free of charge.This has been going back and forth for 60 days,now no stock left for the obvious swap.Not sure if they even have an authorized repair for Nam in Canada?Like always I will make a claim to Visa with all the discovery.

South Lethbridge -- truck stereo & harness purchase.

Purchased a car audio package to replace the existing stereo in a Ram 1500. Alex at the Lethbridge branch did a fantastic job at providing us with which stereo's would fit best, recommending specific brands that were within our price range, and offering deals for the stereo harness when they didn't have the correct one in stock. He was very transparent when it came to pricing, and did a great job offering all of our options without pressuring us into a purchase. When it came to the installation however, we did not receive a call once installation was completed, and were only made aware 2 hours after it had been completed when we called them back -- the installer was supposed to call us. We also had not been made aware of an additional harness to use the steering wheel controls, which resulted in another hundred dollars toward the full purchase. Overall there were ups and downs, but I would still recommend Visions in Lethbridge, Alberta. Alex was a brilliant sales rep, and the installation team wasn't too bad either.

Received a damaged item

Ordered a Samsung microwave over the hood, when about to install, i opened the box and noticed a dent on the side. I contacted customer service and was told the policy is to report any damaged item within 24 hours. It lapsed a few days from the timeframe to report a claim damaged since we are not ready yet to install it. And there is nothing i can do but to suck it up and deal with it. This is a scam! Visions Electronics return/refund policy is absurd! Even a thrift store has a better return policy! Will not buy from or patronize Visions Electronics and will make sure that all my friends and family will not buy from this scammers!!!

Ordered a television online and elected…

Ordered a television online and elected to pick up..
Online directed us to Vancouver location where only 2 were in stock...
Wife drove 45 minutes to pick up and was told it had been SOLD....
Staff at store not willing to help in any way with online orders....
The customer service line does not work as no one answers and is a total waste of time....
Created a support ticket online to cancel and have my money refunded but Nobody has responded 😕
I have purchased products instore from this company but this was my final attempt.....
I will never do business with them again and now will have to fight to get my money back....

Go somewhere else

Ordered a TV and a microwave. The TV discount was put on the microwave which we still haven’t received. There has been no follow up and the manufacturer is no longer shipping this model. So we will never receive it. Customer service is awful

George made my shopping experience…

George made my shopping experience amazing yesterday. We had a couple phone coversations and an in store consult. I purchased a Samsung Frame TV and was concerned about the setup being exactly the way I wanted. George called the installer and I got to explain to a real person before the purchase was made.. Left the store feeling confident about my decision. I would highly recommend George!

Purchase and TV install

July/11/24 I purchased a 77" LG TV and sound bar from Visions. Very good pricing. Fortunately for me the install could occur the following day. TV pix and sound are fabulous. However, I must say the best phase of this purchase was the install. Neill and Jason being the installers could not have been better. Polite, courteous, well organized. They removed the old TV and all the bits that went with it..small speakers, wiring, boxes and stirofoam etc. and they also gave me some instruction as to the workings of the new install. I won't be surprised if they go out of business

I recently placed two orders on visions.ca. For the first order, the item arrived as an open box instead of brand new and sealed. Their online system is unreliable, and their customer service is poor. Since the item appeared to be in good condition and to avoid dealing with them further, I decided to keep it.

I placed another order online and quickly received an email confirming that the item had been shipped. Four days later, I received another email stating that the customer had requested to cancel the order, so it was successfully canceled by ghost. Well, I won't be surprised if they go out of business.
I've tried calling their number multiple times but can never get connected.
Their request system seems designed to avoid providing any service at all.

Car Audio Service

Showed up with a used vehicle that I just purchased. Had a sound filter and button in it that was previously used for blue tooth calls. Mike, at the south Edmonton store, went out of his way to show me how it worked and how to send / receive calls with it, ... at absolutely no charge. Excellent service. Will be back.

He went out of his way to find me a computer that matched the specifications I wanted.
No high-end pressure sales tactics.
Just friendly, knowledgeable service and the confidence to make the right decision for me.

I was given an invoice of 613$ for my…

I was given an invoice of 613$ for my order but charged 748$ as an online order. It took 12 days!
Despite my request for a refund and the online evidence which I sent I have been unable to get any further assistance
These guys are unsavoury for sure!!!!

Got sucked into paying $60 for extended…

Got sucked into paying $60 for extended warranty only to be told when my crappy JVC won't connect to the internet and randomly shuts off that I have to go through Hi-Tech electronics. Basically it's all on me to get this piece of crap looked at. Never buy extended warranty again and likely never shop at visions ever again even though I've bought several things over the years.

Job well done.

We would like to thank Bryan at the Langley store in BC for doing such a fantastic job to solve an ongoing issue matching up the operation of our new Denom Amp with our few years old Sony TV. The installer Arron even came back 2 days after the fact to make sure that everything was still working as intended. Well done and thankyou to both of you.

ZERO customer service

ZERO customer service! I called the store where I got my blue tooth speaker from. Was advised that I would have to call customer service first. 1 866 530 3363, called 8 times and left on hold with recording saying wait time (varies in time from 4-12 minutes) and after 10 minutes they say...no support agents are currently available to take your call, call back later. And they hang up. Pure B.S. Stay away from this company at all cost!

These guys are the very best.

I've bought a few items over the past 2 years from the Visions store in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I'm recognized when I go in because I've needed help with the stereo on a number of occasions. May 22, 2024 I went to the store needing a copy of a receipt to show verification I bought a certain product from them. While I was there I wanted to purchase another product from them. Unfortunately they didn't carry that product. Even though I couldn't purchase that product from them they helped me find a store to purchase that product from. Plus, they even gave me the information on that product and what to look for, what price that would be good and which company sold the best quality product. The names of those people were Darinn, Jermaine and Austin. To me they went above and beyond my expectations of customer service. There is another man who does the same and is so very good and helpful to me over the past two years and his name is Raphiael. (Sorry Raphial for spelling your name wrong.) They were all friendly, fun, knowledgeable, professional and so very helpful. I feel confident buying products from those individuals and would definitely go back to buy from those people again.

horrifying experience

Purchased an ac unit from Visions Electronics along with a 3 year warranty. When the exhaust hose broke, I called in to get it replaced under my warranty. Initial sales guy tried to talk me out of it. Their service department said the exhaust hose was covered under the warranty, but then refused to honour the warranty because they couldn't read the model number from the unit. I was eventually handed off to someone named "Jason" (their head technician) who was verbally abusive. Instead of helping, I was yelled at and repeatedly called "stupid" for purchasing the unit through Visions. A truly horrifying customer experience. Looking over my next steps an legal options, but I strongly warn anyone against doing business with Visions Electronics or Audio Video Electronics (their service company).
