Well what can I say.. incredible experience, amazing city and superb guide! Ali was the best guide you could ever get and I felt safe and chill all the time! At the beginning I didn't want to go.. in the end I didn't want to leave! Mogadishu is now a much safer, vibrant and modern city, far away from the bad depiction you hear from the media.
Lido beach is the most beautiful beach in the world! And the cuisine is amazing!
Highly recommended tour!

I have a great trip with Visit Mogadishu Tours. Omar and the team took around and me the gems of Mogadishu while I felt safe for the most part. I would recommend them for your Mogadishu visit.

This was my second visit to Somalia both with Omar of Visit Mogadishu. My first trip in 2016 was only to Mogadishu and was an incredible experience. On my second trip I visited Somalia more extensively. This time I visited Garowe in Puntland (Northern Somalia) and Kismayo in Jubaland (Southern Somalia).

Visit Mogadishu organised a letter of invitation for visa on arrival, airport transfers, accommodation, transport, internal flights and security.

Travelling through Somalia is complicated and we were often restricted in what we could see or do. However Omar managed to make the trip go smoothly making every thing feel easy and safe.

I can highly recommend Visit Mogadishu.

Visit Mogadishu organize your visits with the best level of security, you can rely on them to organize enjoyable and safe visits during your hollidays time in Somalia. Somalia is enough safe now to be visited on a regular basis.

My visit to Mogadishu was in March 2023. While I was a bit worried prior to my arrival, this feeling quickly disappeared once I was met in the airport by Visit Mogadishu's guide. He was very helpful in explaining the program, when we would visit the city and which points of interest we were going to see. We stayed right next to the airport which allowed for some nice walks in the evening along the beach. Most memorable was the fish market visit and the walk between the people on Lido Beach on a very busy Friday afternoon! The visit was well organized and felt quite safe.

As I visited Mogadushu in 2015 I had a great time in a perfectly organized city tour visiting all the sights of Mogadishu including Lighthouse, Mogadishu mile, Liido beach, Fish market, Cathedral, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Hotel Europa and Banadir stadium. The team was very helpfull and friendly and gave me all time a good and save feeling during my stay. The Sahafi internationel hotel was very comfortable and a good place to stay.

Great company to use to visit Somalia. They were able to work with a last minute flight change and set up a week long itinerary. In addition to the normal sights I was able to see a graduation at the national theater and a small game at the football stadium. I always felt safe and all the guides were friendly. They were able to arrange different visits; they also ensured my stay was comfortable and safe. They were able to make sure everything went well and I had a great time from arrival until leaving. I would definitely recommend them to others.
