The app was easy to use but the real proof is if, God forbid, my wife has a medical problem, you actually pay the way you said you would.
My wife qualifies according to the second bullet on your app. She has dual citizenship with Brasil and the USA BUT She is only staying in Washington DC for apx. 9 days. Then, we return to Brasil.

Do not count on Visitors Coverage or IMG
I had a travel medical policy and I need emergency care. Basically, because I had a problem that I did not know about nor had any doctor diagnosed, my claim was denied. This should be illegal and Visitors Coverage has been no help in my appeal process with IMG. What is the point of emergency medical insurance if it does not cover an ER trip?

In your case, the determination of a pre-existing condition was based on the treating physician's diagnosis and medical documentation.

Purchase process took too long
The purchase process claims to be about 5 minutes, but I was experiencing big loading times between each step in the process. Once I got to the time table portion to choose my coverage and deductible it wouldn't show any of the numbers, so I had to go back, wait again, and start the process all over. And then it ended up saying the insurance I chose was unavailable because it was being updated. Very frustrating! I've used this site before to buy insurance and had little problem, but I hope this isn't a continuous issue for other people.
