Good agency to work for. Applied for work, had a call, online easy registration, induction booked and started day after induction. After 2 weeks been offered temp to perm rota so I have 4 weeks left before will move to permanent contract.
Disgusting racist place...offered nothing work wise...staff ive heard are ex murderers and rapests do not involve yourself with this vile place
Worked for them nearly 2 years. They didn’t give me sick pay for my mental health they just temporarily unemployed me then allowed me to return to work. In the first year of working for them they didn’t pay me my ecrued holidays that I earnt and ignored my email asking how many I had let to take and finally when I was 30 weeks pregnant they terminated my contract after ignoring 2 emails off me asking about maternity. Emily and Rachel who work for vital people are extremely unprofessional and have no concern about the well-being of their employees. No acknowledgement that I was pregnant, they just didn’t want to pay me what I was entitled too. Disgusting to say I had worked for them for so long and when I was in hospital getting a HCG on my babys heart they terminated my contract. Absolutely vile!!!
Don’t ever work for this company they are bullshiters they don’t find u work if you value urself you would not work for these and to top it off they don’t pay u right they rob off u and the call it a family company 😂😂 Jamie and Hannah rob u of ur wages so my advice is don’t ever work here people
Applied for a job through indeed that vital people had advertised, ended up being over 60 days old but had been refreshed on indeed every week, it was for a role that had 11.59 an hour rate and I only ever apply for 10p/h or more, THEY HAVE NOT STOPPED SPAMMING MY EMAIL AND PHONE ABOUT THE SAME 2 POSITIONS OFFERING MINIMUM WAGE THAT I DID NOT APPLY FOR.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND HARASSMENT
The 'good reviews' that are written on here are written by members of the office staff at Vital People. This agency WILL rob you blind and they will get away with it. I have reported this agency to my local job centre plus, but they don't care and refused to help me take my complaint further. But I can assure you I will never give up until these Charlestons have been brought to justice, no matter how much it will cost me.
Vital people are one of the best I've worked for. Great team in the office especially kinga. Thank you for giving me the chance. Glen
They are the worst agency i've ever worked with, take from your wages, even if you were at work they look for reasons not to pay you, they treat you like garbage,i worked in Birkenhead with Vital People for PharmaPac and they are disgusting people to work with, they won't give you your holidays and they won't pay it as well.
This agency has proved why I never usually use agencies after bad experiences years ago.
I was offered work for a set amount of time on a temporary-permanent basis......fantastic news....or so I thought.
On arrival for my first day, the company weren't expecting me, but they were very welcoming and got me started straightaway. This got alarm bells ringing, as there was obviously a lack of communication somewhere.
I spent this first week ensuring I learnt all aspects of the role and the job I would be doing week-in week-out, and believed by the end of that week I had got to grasps with the tasks I'd be undertaking.
I was told it would be set hours, although there was always a possibility you may not finish on time. Despite only being there a couple of days I was asked and trusted to do some jobs on my own without supervision, to help out the business, which I was more than happy to do, and believed I had completed these without fault. These days I worked well over my set hours (2-3 hours over), but wasn't paid for these.
After completing my first week I was looking forward to getting back after the weekend. I was just getting into bed on the Sunday night when I received message/phone call to say unfortunately I wasn't needed that coming week at this job, which I was devastated about for numerous reasons. The call came late Sunday night, and I was told they had been trying to contact me all weekend but were unable to. After checking my phone for missed calls, emails etc, that information regarding them trying to contact me was a complete lie, and that call about 8 hours before I was due back in, was the first communication they had attempted.
That week past, and on the Friday I contacted the agency through their contact form, to ask if I was back in the job this coming week, but I received no reply to this message, either through email, phone call or message.
I have since contacted them and still there's been no reply. I am now looking into legal advice regarding this situation. I had been promised a set amount of hours and weeks, temp-perm, and I had set up some debt repayments in advance, knowing I'd be getting this money. Also, I have been without money and essentials, such as food, clean clothes etc for my child, and that's the last straw.
I would of been due a benefit payment, but I put that off because I was due to be working again, so I'm also now without that payment, and have to go through the process from the start again.
Disgusting service! As with all agencies, they don't care about the people that keep them in business!
