I haven't received my belt yet, but I am disappointed already, seeing that it is shipping from China. (shipped 11 days ago)
I purposefully ordered this belt as I believed it was made in Canada.
If/when I receive it, I will probably return it, just on principle.

The order took 4 weeks to arrive. Not great if they offer a 30 day return policy and it takes 30 days to arrive. The belts are too big and are not one sized fits all for anyone who has a 34" waist or less. There are not enough cogs on the belt to tighten enough for smaller waists. When you email them for a return the canned message indicates they have a 2 day response time. I have been waiting 3 weeks and have sent 3 messages during that time. Do not "waist" your time!

I would strongly recommend to not buy from the company. I thought I was buying from a Canadian owned company but I don't think that is the case. I bought a wallet of poor quality and had a very long frustrating experience with customer service. Their website said they would provide free return shipping and that they would reimburse you, but when I asked about it to customer service they said they don't provide that. I went back to the website and saw that they actually removed the paragraph mentioning free return shipping! Overnight. Which seems very dishonest to me so I would recommend steering clear.

Excellent belt nice soft leather couldn't be happier I also have the tactical belt and it's amazing as well

I have two of the men's standard vitello belts and recently got the belt hanger and another belt strap to replace one of the two. The belts are so easy to adjust and feel premium and comfortable.

Great product love the belts can be interchangeable with the hardware

Belt has exceeded expectations! I own a belt with a similar fasting system, but no where near the quality of this canvas belt. I use it on my tech work pants and the width and quality of the belt holds my gear and pants in place without any sagging or curling of the belt. Top quality product!

Excellent belt I should have had years ago for my plain clothes belt in policing

I was a bit worried that the belt wouldn't work but the first time I put it on it actually worked and held up my pants. I will definitely give them a 5 star rating

Very solid and firm belt. Tightens to exactly how you want it. No holes to tear. Does not fold over.

Belt arrived, coiled loosely in a nice box a few days after ordering. I removed the protective plastic baggie and read the card inside that refers you to their website video for instructions on how to easily trim the belt for best fit. Easy.
Belt looks nice. It's best feature, of course, is the fitment 'ratchet ' which allows for small adjustments in or out while wearing the belt. Easy.
I admit I like my belts looser for long drives, so after I'm on my way I just have to pull on the buckle a little and the belt ratchets into the new size. Easy.
The belt is supposedly made of quality leather which is why I changed from my regular $20 to $30 belts that stretch out the hole and crack in a few years. Here's hoping the Vittelo belt lasts longer.

The belt fits great. I love that the ratchet make the fit adjustable in quarter inch increments. Tightens and loosens easily. And no holes: looks great.

This belt is not great. It's narrower than my previous belt, and the teeth are slipping from the buckle which I have never encountered before. Overall I am disappointed with this purchase.

On top of that, for a supposedly Canadian company, the belt did not ship out of Canada, but clearly came from overseas. Delivery took almost two weeks. I was not happy with this.

I only used 4 cards and they keep jamming up in wallet constantly even though they were loaded properly, so not usable unfortunately

Oops I got duped by another FB ad. There should be some protections for common citizens like myself who are not internet sleuths to detect FAKERS. Lol Canadian company shipping from China. I guess I am to believe that China is now a Canadian Province. LIES .. I ordered expecting a quick delivery as every statement from company pointed to their location being North Toronto. Now I see shipping from some distant international Airport.

Great little wallet, slim and streamlined and no little levers on the side to get broken off like some of the others.

I had a very disappointing experience with Vitello. I ordered a belt that arrived faulty. Instead of offering a refund they sent out a replacement without my consent, even after I clearly told them I no longer needed it because the birthday it was intended for had already passed.
When I asked for a return address and a prepaid label they refused to cover return shipping costs. I am based in London and they are based in Canada, meaning the cost of shipping the item back would be almost the same price as the belt itself. This is completely unreasonable given that the item was faulty to begin with.
The customer service team has been unhelpful and inflexible throughout the entire process. There was no empathy, no attempt to resolve the issue fairly, and no accountability for sending a defective product. I am now left out of pocket for an item I did not want and did not authorise a replacement for.
I would not recommend ordering from Vitello, especially if you are an international customer. If something goes wrong, do not expect fair or supportive customer service.

Very pleased with these belts, to the extent that I’ve put my old ones in the trash!

I ordered 2 belts and recv'd them as expected. The problem is the one belt has the ratchet teeth start much further down from the belt end than the other so to use the one, I have to have about a 6 inch tongue which is too long for my liking. I replied to their "happy or not with your purchase" email on Dec 22nd explaining the problem. Despite their claim to respond within 24 hours, it took 28 days to hear back. They denied my request for a replacement belt saying it was my fault I didn't check where the ratchet teeth started on the back of the belt before I cut it. Too bad their online instructions and video DO NOT mention that CRUCIAL point! The phone number on the website is bogus 123-456-1234 ??? Really?? I can find no connection to Canada at all btw. Do what others have suggested, look on Amazon for ratchet belts. They're a lot cheaper and of course returns if you are not satisfied are prompt and hassle free.

Update May 2026: After my bad experience with Vittelo I ordered a replacement belt from Amazon where I know I have much better consumer protection than Vittelo. Belt was $35 Cdn cheaper and looked identical. Amazon: Founders-Ratchet-Leather-Buckle-Belt
