The f worst airline I’ve ever flew with We’re not translate only speaking in Spanish very rude even when ask what was said if you don’t speak Spanish, I suggest you do not fly this airline. I really urge you not to fly. The plane was going down. You wouldn’t know what to do because they’re not gonna say it in English like if so use the states we caters to Spanish and we will stay in English and in Spanish.

Upon checking in, they told me and my family (a group of 10), that there was no more space in the plane for us. They only gave us a phone number to inquire about our refund. No one at Viva Aerobus has resolved my refund.

This airline is the worst. They cancelled our flight without notice then moved it to another one that was 23 hours earlier. When we tried to make that earlier flight in a hurry, they told us that the seats were overbooked and we’d have to be on the waitlist. We missed our niece’s birthday celebration in Mexico because of this crappy airline. DONT EVER BOOK WITH THEM!

I had a flight from Oaxaca to CDMX at 12:15 pm that got delayed until 4:30 p.m.. The front desk agent and the person on the customer service line said the flight hadn’t left Mexico City, but my flight status said it would arrive at 5:32pm. How could it arrive at 5:32 when at 4:32 they said the plane hadn’t left? So I asked for a refund which you get after waiting 4hrs. Right around the time my refund was confirmed the flight arrived! I’m so upset because I spent over $200 booking a new flight that normally costs $80 or less. If I didn’t have work the next day at 7am I would’ve kept the flight, but it kept getting delayed so it really made it uncertain.
Do not book with this company. No one could give me a straight answer and the fact that all of the staff I spoke with didn’t know the status of the flight is really concerning.

To those who think its a good idea to use this airline... pay a bit more and AVOID it. Why? Here is a story thst actually happened to me just now... So I booked a flight from Mexico city to cancun online for the next day with viva airlines. It sends me a confirmation email... I go to the airport, 2 hours before my flight I go to check in and I am told that my ticket got canceled. Why? Because apparently my card did not go through. I look at my online banking and the payment has been placed. I check my email, I see no notices that anything is canceled. I ask if I can pay again, they said no i have to call the call center. They give me a phone number to call... so I call and wait on hold for 40 minutes, then an agent answers and tell me that the system just canceled the ticket because they didn't get payment confirmation and a refund has been issued... strange that a refund is issued considering they didn't get the money.
I ask if I can pay online or with him, he says that I should go to the airport staff and ask them to do it there... the same airport staff that told me to call him! I explain that and ask why i didnt get any notices that my ticket is canceled... all i have is an email saying congradulations, everything is successfully booked. He said nothing and started to suggest other flights i can buy. Then he found availability at the flight that I booked yesterday but now he said he can't get a ticket on it because it's too late now to book in his computer but he said that if i go to the staff in the airport, they help me... i ask him what i should say to them... silence... i ask if he wants to talk to them now because i could pass .y phone to them and and then, he just hung up on me. Like actually hung up!
So to people who want to use this airline.... just pay a little more and avoid it. You will end up paying more at the end.
To people who run this company...
1)fire all your support staff and replace them with an AI chatbot because they are useless.
2)give the front people in the airport an ability to resolve these matters or at least to sell tickets or just fire them all and put a machine to self check in.
3) adjust your automations so people get a notice if their ticket is canceled

Purchased a flight and was supposed to be allowed to change the flight 3 times, but their website allowed me to change it only once.
Worst customer service ever
The staff was so rude and couldn’t care less that my luggage didn’t arrive at the final destination. It was kind of a fight to get it back the next day. Then I noticed that my backpack was severely damaged even though it was in a protection case. I e-mailed the airline twice to ask for a refund for the damage. Both times I got a confirmation e-mail that they received my message but they never replied to me. This incident shows that there is a lot of imrovement in terms of customer service. I won‘t fly with Viva Aerobus anymore and for sure won‘t recommend the airline to friends.

They oversell plane seats and and you have a flight that was brought to them by a partner, in this case it was Iberia, they suddenly block you from going in the plane and they'll put you in the flight they choose. Flights with this company it's like a flee market on a Favela.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. They took £218.18 from my credit card in February, then returned it the same day. Shortly after that I was scammed again to buy ‘quasi cash’, and that money was not returned. I have never made any purchases or had any dealings with Viva Aerobus before this, so I don’t know how they got my credit card details to take my money.
I contacted them to ask how they had got my credit card details and been able to use them without my involvement. They wrote back saying unhelpfully, not accepting their accountability and saying speak to my credit card provider. I replied that I had already done that and was acting on my credit card company’s advice to ask VivaAerobus the questions. Viva Aerobus have not replied to me on this.
My credit card company said the 1st transaction was not fraud as the money was returned. They are investigating the 2nd transaction as fraud and my card is now blocked. Don’t deal with this company.
I want this company to contact me to explain this.

Horrible experiencia y trato al cliente
One of the worst experiences we have ever had. They cancelled our flight in Havana months in advance and the failed to send us any notification. We were trapped in the city for a whole day trying to get to the next flight. After many emails back and forward they completely ignored our claims to get any compensation for the hotel night and the transport we had TO PAY OURSELVES. Horrible! Don’t choose this airline!

flight postponed 12 hours the evening before the trip. Alternative flight two hours late. Seats extremely uncomfortable as if you are being pushed forward. No costumer service at the airport, only a call center which calling would cost more than the little reimbursement we were going to receive (25% of the flight fare)
