Never ever flight with them ever again

Never ever flight with them ever again, they have the worse customer service, i flight with my 3 minors and guess what? They decided to split all of us, i complaint and they told me that next time I should buy the seats.. i was like what you guys know they are minors why do you guys do that? They didnt care at all.

The worst flight experience with Viva…

The worst flight experience with Viva Aerobus. The plane was 3 hours late and during takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and gave no explanation. Everyone was scared to death. Avoid this airline.

I had to cancel my flight due to a…

I had to cancel my flight due to a unforseen event. Immediately I begin trying to contact the airline to make the changes. Needless to say I was hung up on numerous times. I have flight insurance with the confirmation number in which I was told they had no records of. I purchased the flight through Orbitz and according to Orbitz this airline likes to make any changes and or cancelation themselves. I see why now because they give you the runaround and keep your money. Out of the numerous calls I made I spoke to one person who was helpful and told me what to do. I followed those instructions and still had to end up paying for another flight. I have tried to cancel my flight numerous times online because they will not allow me to cancel with customer service agent. Each time I look it is not showing the cancelation. The flight that I have been trying to cancel is scheduled to leave tomorrow now. This is a horrible airline that takes your money. I'm going to dispute this with my credit card company and report this to their cooperate office although they are most likely aware of what is going on!

Don't fly with VivaAerobus

our flight from Mexico City to Chetumal, Mexico was cancelled. We had to buy another ticket for $823.97.
We had already purchased tickets from Phoenix, AZ to Chetumal, Mexico for $$3,041.75. Our two tickets ($823.97) from Mexico City to Chetumal, Mexico were put in one name. I called the airlines and they would not do a name change. I was told I had to buy another ticket for the amount of $423.79. Lesson, don't fly with a "budget airlines".

Not all bad

I read with horror the reviews on here, after I'd booked my flights. However, following the chaos the volcanic eruption El Popo caused, Viva were customer service agents were incredibly helpful in helping me change my itinerary completely. I only had carry on luggage and the trip was relatively short but I have to give credit where it's due as they were more helpful than Aeromexico.

Avoid this airline at all costs

Trash company, they lost my bag and illegally refused compensation.

Back in March they lost my luggage, found it a day later and then made it very very hard to get the bag back.

I was told that I was entitled to compensation for the purchases I made to replace essential items in the interim (since I received my bag almost a month later). This compensation is, in fact, required by US law. I bought minimal items to cover myself in the month, and then submitted a compensation claim with all receipts and information.

They then REFUSED to compensate me, instead offering me travel credit amounting to significantly less than I had claimed! Imagine, travel credit with the airline that lost your baggage - an airline that only has flights on the other side of the world to where I live.

It is just plain illegal to operate within the United States and not adhere to their laws. They really are just waiting to screw over the wrong person who actually decides to sue them.

Let's hope that day comes soon.

This is a horrible airline

This is a horrible airline, would rate 0. On my return flight home items from my luggage were taken out. I contacted them and still have not heard back. I have emailed, called and no respond. What a lack of ethics and professionalism.

THIS IS THE WORST AIRLINE ON THE…

THIS IS THE WORST AIRLINE ON THE PLANET! If I could rate it would be negative 0!!!! Not worth the money you save by using this cheap airline, they should be shut down. We have used them sadly 2 times, both times an absolute nightmare. There is zero communication, the pilots cannot fly in any kind of weather, the flight attendants are not attentive at all, you have to buy water, the plane is dirty and small. I have not even talked about our experience because it was a nightmare, I would not like to ever go through again. Please read the reviews before flying with this airline, save yourself from a terrible experience.

This airline is trash

This airline is trash. They dont communicate with you and try to lie and screw you over. I hope that they go out of business very soon. DO NOT fly them just pay more to take another airine.

Piece of C** airline

I wrote so much about this case to try to get my money back that I will sum it up here as I'm getting cramps. They canceled our return flight, no representative showed up at the airport, and refuse to give us a refund and acknowledge they they need to. The real story is a lot worse than that but that's the gist of it.
They need to go under. AVOID!

Their Full Refund is a scam

Do not get their "Full Refund" , its a third party company called Mas Servicos, what they do, they will not respond to you for 24 hours and after that will claim that you only had a 24 hour window to make a claim, even though i cancelled the flight due to covid that was a week from the claim date. So in short they will refund nothing and will not respond after cancelling the claim.

i give zero stars if i paid $60 extra…

i give zero stars if i paid $60 extra dallors per ticket to change ticket or get credit to use in next year! . Not a refund . Of course they wont hive money back ! one person flying in household has a horrible cold. I told the guy we can not fly sick ? then he says only way to get credit not refund is to email doctors note . It does not say this in terms when purchase Ticket upgarde says Can have inlimited changes . Both representive we extremely RUDE! Your company should honor legel policy stated without questions . A person health is not Under review to cancel flight and NO WHERE does it say i have to EVEN give you a reason to change flight!!! . i used to fly for business weekly dates would change all the time and never never never did i have to prove why im changing a ticket !!! My business plans changes and i dont need your approval to honor legal policy stated . HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY . ! IN AMERICA , we have privacy rights!!!! Your health is private . You company is awful .!! i would never never advise a person to fly with you !

Booked out: We were 6 people with 3 separate…

We were 6 people with 3 separate reservations on CUN-MEX in October. We were 2 honeymoon couples and my elderly parents. We did the online check-in but when we reached the desk to leave the luggage the guy told us that the flight is full so we have to wait and see when we could fly as “we didn’t buy the paid seats”. Even though we were checked in. After a long argument the agent finally “found us seats” for a flight 2h later and told us that we are entitled to a 1000mxn compensation per flight. It took us almost 3 months till we finally get codes for compensation, but then they have a validity of 6 months and can’t be transferred to another name. We don’t live in MX and can’t travel there so often (not to mention my parents). There is no alternative solution and no way to change that. What kind of a compensation is that?How is that customer service?? Avoid.

Bitter experience with Viva Aerobus Flight. In life there is always a first time but the first time flying experience i had with Viva Aerobus was a very bad one,what i mean is this on 24th December 2022 Viva Aerobus flight number(VB2135)convening us from Guadalajara Mexico to Cancun Mexico almost wasted our lives due to unforseen mechanical fault no one to blame right but the most painful and annoying part of it is that our time was wasted for almost 4 hours while waiting,the flight ought to have left Guadalajara Mexico at 01:05pm but we did not leave until some minutes before 5:00pm after ups and downs and no apology was rendered from any of the staffs so we finally given another flight operating by the same Viva Aerobus to convey us to Cancun Mexico from Guadalajara Mexico but to my biggest suprise not even a water or snack was giving to any of the passengers rather they were busy selling food and drinks to the passengers at a point i was
forced to call one of the the flight attendant to ask her for me to satisfy my conscience and she said all their snack and drinks and for sale imagine a journey of about 3 hours without drink and meal with what we went through meanwhile earlier that day i boarded a flight Aeromexico from Santa Lucia Mexico to Guadalajara Mexico a journey of about 1 hour and i was served a water, a snack and even a beer. Please this is not about tarnishing an organization reputation but we do not need this type of company that treat people like animals after extorting them and also i am calling attention of the people in charge if they will take to correction but as for me that was my first and last time experience with Viva Aerobus. Thanks.—————————————————. Una experiencia amarga con Viva Aerobus Vuelo. En la vida siempre hay una primera vez pero la primera experiencia de vuelo que tuve con Viva Aerobus fue muy mala, lo que quiero decir es que este el 24 de diciembre de 2022, el número de vuelo Viva Aerobus (VB2135 ) convocando a Guadalajara a Cancún casi perdió nuestras vidas debido a la falta mecánica no forzada que nadie culpara pero la parte más dolorosa y molesta de eso es que nuestro tiempo se perdió durante casi 4 horas mientras esperaba, el vuelo debería haber dejado Guadalajara a las 01:00pm pero no nos fuimos hasta unos minutos antes de las 17:00 horas después de altibajos y bajadas y no se hizo disculpas de ninguno de los funcionarios así que finalmente dimos otro vuelo que operaba por el mismo Viva Aerobus para transmitirnos a Cancún México desde Guadalajara México, sino a mi mayor sorpresa ni siquiera un agua o un aperitivo daba a ninguno de los pasajeros en un punto que ellos estaba ocupado vendiendo comida y bebidas a los pasajeros
obligada a llamar a una de las asistentes de vuelo para pedirle que satisfaga mi conciencia y dijo que todos sus aperitivos y bebidas y a la venta imaginen un viaje de unas 3 horas sin bebida y comida con lo que pasamos mientras tanto ese día abordé un vuelo Aeroméxico desde Santa Lucía México a Guadalajara México un viaje de aproximadamente 1 hora y me sirvieron agua, un aperitivo e incluso una cerveza. Por favor, esto no es sobre empañar una reputación de la organización, pero no necesitamos este tipo de compañía que trata a personas como animales después de extorsionarlos y también estoy llamando la atención de las personas a cargo si se toman a corrección, pero en cuanto a mí esa fue mi primera y última experiencia con Viva Aerobus. This is absurd , their lack of service , lack of system as and lack of empathy for clients goes almost against not only consumer rights but human rights ! We have spent on line since 9pm, it is now 4 in the morning I am yet at another line .. I will NEVER fly with this airline again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE !! Save yourselves !! Don’t pay the “cheaper” price for this airline because saying that you’ll get what you paid for is a HUGE understatement !! Do not fly with vivaaerobus !!!

Suitcase nightmare

Here's how my situation turned out.Sat Dec 3 in the morning Viva aerobus texted me and said that they would deliver my suitcases to me at my apartment in medellin.but it didn't happen.. I got a new text saying they would deliver them on Sunday Dec 4..at 5pm no suitcases so I went to the airport to pick them up.2 hours of waiting I finally got them .the porter at the airport told me I had items stolen because of the weight difference.In Mexico city they stoled my Bluetooth speaker, hair clippers and 2cashmere sweaters with a loss of $325-.the airline doesn't cover any electronics or electrical and they would pay me for 1sweater..so I received a $75- voucher.to be fair they did get my suitcases to medellin but the rest of the story was a nightmare..Mexico city has a theft problem and they know it..
I will only be flying with a carryon.. 4 days in the same clothes is not good. James Eischeid

Real Scammers at LAX

Real Scammers at LAX, last month I traveled from LAX to Mexico City and when I was getting my boarding pass I got charged US$30.00 as a "Tourist" in Mexico, I told them I have double citizenship, showing them my Mexican Passport and ID but they still didn't care and charged me. I traveled to Mexico this year 3 times and this was the only airline scamming everyone(a family of 5 had to pay $150.00) not to mention that you can not reclined their seats, making it really uncomfortable if you try to sleep. Avoid using this Airline.
Rateros en LAX, el mes pasado viaje desde LA a CDMEX y a la hora de checkar la trabajadora de la aerolinea me cobro $30US como cuota de "turista", les enseñe mi pasaporte Mexicano y mi INE y aun asi me cobraron! Son unos rateros a una familia de 5 que ivan de vacaciones les robaron $150. Eso sin mencionar que los asientos no se pueden reclinar y es muy incomodo si tratas de dormir. Eviten usar esta aeroline, fue mi primera y ultima ves usandola.
