Hi can anyone confirm this company is trading as contact phone numbers not in use and not answering emails. Philip.
My Father had a boiler fitted by Viva Gas and the workmanship was appalling, leaky pipes, poor brickwork (removal of old boiler) hand marks on paintwork/woodwork in property, burn mark on wall, gas leak and a leaking condenser pipe. Looked like it had been thrown in. Was told that boiler covered under warranty and had been registered with manufacturer. I wrote to manufacturer to check if warranty had been Registered and they wrote straight back to say it hadn't been registered with them so they registered the warranty for my Fathers boiler and sent a certificate for our records. This should have been done as stated by Viva Gas. The boiler was inspected by manufacturer and gas safe & other faults were found. Viva gas had sent various engineers (subcontractors) to repair the faults mentioned above. The final straw was weeks later after we discovered the leaky condenser pipe, I (on my Fathers behalf) then contacted the manufacturers to check warranty and I also contacted gas safe as we had lost faith with this company and had serious concerns. No replies have been received from Viva Gas whom I have written to with reports from Gas Safe and boiler manufacturer. Disgraceful. I hope this was a one of incident as I wouldn't want anyone else to go through this. My father is elderly and deserved better service from them. The one positive is the manufacturers of the boiler and gas safe were excellent with their service. I never leave reviews as a rule but this has made me so angry i want other people to be aware.
