Written by the company

Vivette creates supportive homeware designed for homes, not hospitals. Founded by architect Lisa McDanell and occupational therapist Sophie Radcliffe, the brand was created to challenge the clinical look of traditional mobility aids and help people feel proud of the products in their homes. Our products combine thoughtful design with everyday functionality, creating supportive details that blend naturally into beautifully designed interiors. Every piece is carefully considered to feel warm, calming and furniture-grade — without compromising on strength, safety or practicality. We believe people shouldn’t have to choose between independence and aesthetics. By rethinking how supportive products look and feel, Vivette aims to make home adaptation more approachable, empowering and stigma-free for people of all ages and abilities. All products are designed in the UK with a focus on quality craftsmanship, timeless materials and long-lasting performance.

Living with MS means my balance and…

Living with MS means my balance and confidence at home have changed a lot over the years. I'd put off getting grab rails because everything I found looked so clinical the last thing I wanted was my home looking like a hospital. Vivette completely changed that. The oak rail I ordered is genuinely beautiful, it looks like a considered design choice, not a concession. It's strong, easy to install, and gives me the confidence to move around safely without feeling like I've given something up. Finally, a product that treats accessibility with dignity

Beautiful and strong

Really beautiful and, most importantly, useful and strong product. I got them for my very house-proud mum. She now uses them every day but they don't impact her lovely home.
