vodaphone is a nightmare to deal with…
vodaphone is a nightmare to deal with everyone is based in india they dont have anyone in the uk working they never connect you to anyone always 48 to 96 hours for a call back they never put you through to anyone always wait hours when i refused to wait as i have already waited 98 hours he disconected my call
Incompetent customer service
Incompetent customer service, not helping at all, too expensive, they play with the prices, all is about scamming people. Best option is to never having anything with Vodafone in Czech Republic.
Avoid if possible
I have the "Super Unlimited" optical Internet tariff, that promises a lot, but fails miserably. The Internet speed that I register while connected via Ethernet cable, is always way below of what is advertised in the offer. I'm experiencing constant outages that often prevent me from working.
They recently informed me about planned infrastructure upgrade and possible disruptions. And indeed, I was experiencing constant disruptions (even more than usually). Did my Internet bandwidth improve afterwards? Of course not. I'm guessing they're gonna spam with another "amazing offer" trying to upsell me as usual.
And of course, the customer service absolutely ignores the problem. There's never anyone available who can call me back and help me resolve my problem that speaks in English. Funny that when I'm calling to discuss tariffs that I'm considering getting, they are available immediately.
I know that the telecom prices in Czech Republic are absolutely criminal, but try to avoid if possible.
Patience & clarity…
The patience & clarity with which Tom answered my questions meant that my experience was far better than any I've had with a mobile phone company to date.
After being a loyal customer for years
After being a loyal customer for years, I’ve finally reached my breaking point. The network reliability has hit rock bottom with constant signal drops, and I'm tired of seeing 'mystery' charges pop up on my bill every month. What’s even more frustrating is that every time I reach out to support, I get a completely different story from every agent I speak to. It's sad to see a service I used to trust lose its quality so completely
Despite the fact the Vodafone is not…
Despite the fact the Vodafone is not allowed to send me SMS and emails, it's does that almost every day.
Also it's systems - login/services is changing very often and they are either non-functional or impossible to use.
All the manuals and guidance is full of info which is not true. Vodafone completely resigned on customer experience.
STAY AWAY FROM VODAFONE CZ
I would not recommend Vodafone CZ. Their services are significantly overpriced compared to other providers in the Czech Republic, while offering noticeably weaker coverage. The English‑language customer support does not exist, and both their website and mobile application are difficult to use and provide limited useful information.
Customer for over 5 years - *Shocker* They don't give a shit
My personal experience:
I was a customer for over 5 years and decided to switch providers. The absolute worst experience EVER. Highly discourage you to join their network, was an absolute pain to switch and the constant invoice paying for not transparent dealings. Customer service was shit. I do not mind paying when leaving a service, what I do mind is the lack of transparency. This corporation should do better! However come to think of it, the corporation should keep their current business dealings as usual - if there are no slow archaic incumbents, then who will the fast moving innovators disrupt. There are clear winners and losers, and I will let you judge who the losers actually are.
5 stars for the customer support…
5 stars for the customer support experience with one of the agents - Milan Matous. Gentleman helped with a smooth transition to a best priced offer for me.
The account management login system is just awful.
I encountered a huge problem with this carrier that seems unsolvable. The issue is that I bought a cheap data SIM card from vodafone.cz. I activated it successfully, but I needed it for my GPS tracker. Later on, I found out that to manage the account, top up the SIM, check services, and so on, I have to enter the received SMS code on that same phone every single time. Meanwhile, I tried to change the phone number for two-factor authentication, but since I already have a primary vodafone phone that I use, it said that this phone is already in use for two-factor authentication. So, for any GPS tracker, it seems I need a separate, free SMS phone to access the account. This is just not feasible. I'd have to constantly remove the SIM from the tracker to check my monthly bills.
Terrible internet coverage compared to…
Terrible internet coverage compared to T-Mobile and O2. Expensive data.
Totally incomponent
Totally incomponent - not sure how Vodadone can call themselves a network provider. It is impossible to speak to anyone - tried to use Tobi and they were unable to put me through to a person - then it said network error - I have now been on the phone for more than an hour. How is it that mobile networks can get away with this.
I could give zero
I could give zero, I would. They have difunctional app, and customer service. They make money from charging fees for sending pay reminders to non-existing email. Let's not forget their collection agencies fees.
I strongly recommend to complain to Czech Telecommunication Office, right after you get answer from Vodafone's claim department. Discussion with claim department is useless, and you give them chance to charge you more and more. Also they will charge you for collection agencies fees.
Stay away, or you will pay a loooot to be able to leave.
This my worst experience with Czech company ever.
I paid to Vodafone for decades
I paid to Vodafone for decades, after closing the contract they keep on sending bills to pay with late charges! Extortion 101! Especially when they understand the person has paid for decades and is now living out of the country, ridiculous,,,,,and ironically very difficult to even communicate with this telephone company,
This is the recommended provider for…
This is the recommended provider for foreigners in the CZ--but the service is terrible, not enough speak English, and there's long wait times. I canceled everything before I left the country, or so I thought--Nearly a year later my old landlady receives a letter with a bill. Apparently, they never canceled my phone service, let the bill run high, THEN contacted a debt management service to reach out to my sweet landlady saying that I either needed to pay, or they'd screw me over legally.
When I originally canceled everything, I went to the store to make sure it all got done, phone/internet, everything.
Now, vodafone is saying that the man who was suppose to cancel everything 'forgot' or 'there was a language barrier', and are claiming that I haven't paid for my phone, and that they have a policy where they can't cancel phone services in store. I was never informed about any of this. They had my email on file from the account--why not inform me that way?
The worst experience with phone and…
The worst experience with phone and internet provider in Czech. People trained there to lie to make everything super complicated for customers where you sign contract , unreal shocking, please avoid such service
Exchange student problem
Hello,
I wanted to complain how the company is so disrespectful towards their client. I am a foreigner student who is on an Exchange program, and I deactivated my number for students. Still I didn’t got any notice beforehand that I have to pay another bill and on top of that for a small piece of paper I had to pay 180 Chezh krowns with bonus of a deleted profile on a place 75 Chezh krowns.
First of all, that’s a total disrespect toward the client and the misinformation of the notice that I got. I didn’t got a message or anything. That means your company is corrupting their clients and does not set any boundaries for them.
That’s my review, every exchange students has a bad experience with Vodafone. I don’t recommend them.
It just changed my plan without asking
It just changed my plan without asking, to a super slow one that is more expensive. 10mps and I cant change it for days no answer
Worst data services ever. SCAM!!!
No online support, AI robot not in English, I tried to cal their number for emergency assistance abroad (+420 776 970 219) and no English. I've had too many bad experiences with Vodafone. I do not recommend to anyone, you think you're paying a certain amount every month, I'm ready to bet it will be higher than what you subscribed to and they can't justify it. A pure scam.
The worst ISP
The worst ISP we have had. We were with UPC for more than a decade before it was acquired by Vodafone. The internet connection goes down so often in the past 13 months. This week, they scheduled downtimes on weekdays after 9am for many hours without any communication prior to that. I understood if it’s an unexpected outage but a scheduled one and they couldn’t be bothered to inform the customers via email or sms. We had to find this info on their website. We’ve had enough and signed up for a new ISP yesterday. That’s how you lose your customers.
