I really enjoyed the process of publishing my first tour with Voicemap, and look forward to publishing more, now that I understand the process better. Working with Stephan as my editor really helped to nail the combination of place, story, timing and directions.
You need the encouragement of someone who has been through it before, to keep everything on track.
Also what Chad, the Audio Editor, was able to do with my audio files truly added the professional finish I was aiming for. Great experience, looking forward to doing it again.

My editor was very candid and helpful. It always felt like they thoroughly read my questions and notes. They were quick to respond and it always felt like I was talking to a real human. They provided a lot of great insight and information.

I’m Willem, podcaster of The History of Cologne, and I’ve published two tours on VoiceMap – one about Roman Cologne and another about Medieval Cologne. What I value most is that my tours are now accessible to an international audience, allowing listeners to experience Cologne on location in an authentic way. It was fabulous working with VoiceMap on developing my Paris walk. Alicia, my editor, was super helpful and clearly experienced in guiding new publishers like me through the various stages. The dashboard works well, although I also provided some points of improvement. Make sure to read the guidelines before starting, it will make the process more efficient and improve the quality.
