In-complete work after 10 months
I engaged Volti Electrical in Narangba QLD to divide an existing dwelling's electrical system into 2 separate Tenancies (so individual tenants can pay their own electricity bill) & then apply to have a 2nd electricity meter installed.
Cost was $2551.
Volti Electrical were paid in full (and paid on time) to complete the electrical works & then to complete & submit an application to Energex to install the 2nd meter.
These electrical works were completed on 29/02/2024 & paid in full, on time.
10 months later I am still attempting to have Volti Electrical explain why Energex has not received the completed Connection application. I called Energex today & they confirmed no application has been received. I have tried on many occasions to have Volti Electrical complete this task that was paid for in full (on time) however it appears they are no longer taking my phone calls & emails.
As a result, I am now paying the entire electricity bill for BOTH of my tenants since the works were not completed 10 months ago!
I have unfortunately had to submit a complaint to the ACCC & now investigating legal action via my solicitor.
I am willing to remove my review (which I have felt I had no option but to do) if Volti Electrical communicate & resolve matter now in a timely manner.
