Pocket Rocket
I absolutely swear by the Pocket Rocket nutrition bars. I'm running 10 marathons in 10 days for charity in May 2024. The Voom nutrition bars have helped me massively on my journey so far. I recently used caffeine kick during a 55km ultra
I recently used caffeine kick during a 55km ultra and found that it did give me a boost coming out of the first pit stop. I’d tried gels before and didn’t like the “goo” hitting my stomach so the slow release of the voom bar was much better. Easy texture as well.
I then tried the electro energy during a recent 10 miler knowing that I probably hadn’t given myself full recovery since the ultra. I had one square at 30 mins then a second about 15 mins later and whilst I did tail off for the last 5k the recovery in my legs was a little quicker.
I’ll use them again to get more of a verdict with the next event being another 50km ultra.
